I wanted to go to the shows in the US but that is WAY too long of a drive for me.
This show would be so awesome.

Alright, I got my new video card and I'll probably get on a trial account tonight to start playing after I've installed this video card. I'll be on before 8:30 PM EST or maybe late tonight/tomorrow morning.

Two best scenes in the entire movie come from Downey and Cruise.
The Downey Scene:
Spoiler: Click here to viewAsian Kid: Where is your farm!? Downey: HERE'S MY FUCKING FARM!! [unsheathing of double AK's a-blazin]Spoiler: Click here to viewIT'S A LEAD FARM MOTHER FUCKER!I agree that Downey/Cruise stole the movie though. It seemed like every time they were on screen I was laughing at something they did. Oh, and the "trailers" before the movie were fucking hilarious.

Maybe somebody here can help me with this since I tried at GameFaqs and got no response. I'm going to upgrade my video card soon, but regardless I only have 512 MB of RAM. What will that affect with my WoW playing. And does anybody have a cheap video card that runs WoW that they can recommend. I know WoW's minimum for RAM is 512 but I didn't know how it would affect the playing. I can't run the trial right now because my video card "Doesnt support Dual-TMU 3D Accelerators"

I remember pulling a Ruki. I started out at PW forums then came to EWB to see what all the fuss was about because they always bitched EWR and the forums. I actually remember Ruki when he jumped ship.

I saw the movie last night and didn't want to create a new thread, but this was fucking hilarious. In terms of movie quality I don't think it was that great but as a comedy holy shit it was amazing. With Step Brothers, Pineapple Express, and Tropic Thunder I think this is one of the best summers for comedy in a very long time.

So I've got new originals up on my myspace page. You should check it out

Fable 2, Gears of War 2, Guitar Hero World Tour
That's about it for my must buys.

So I'm thinking of buying WoW and I'm looking to you guys to either talk me into/out of it. A friend of mine was talking with me and he always randomly talks about WoW and says how he used to be the leader of a big guild and all of that great stuff, and it seemed like every time he talked I'd get more interested in it. Now that I've found the Battlechest for $40 I'm highly considering getting this game.
-
I saw them live back in May. Magical experience. It was honestly one of the best nights of my life and easily the best concert I've ever been to. GREAT live band.
-
I decided early on I'm getting this instead of Rock Band 2 (I didn't buy the first) so seeing that list makes me feel better. Hopefully the rest of the setlist is on par with that. I'm really glad Lazy Eye is in the game.
Why does it seem like there's a bunch of the songs in both games? I thought that would mess up exclusive rights.

Scrubs has a LOT of those moments. One in particular to me is when the Janitor walks off and "Boston" by Augustana plays. I don't remember much of the story from that episode because I haven't seen it in a long time but it's a great moment.
Almost Famous for Tiny Dancer.
"Mad World" in Donnie Darko.
"Let Go" in Garden State
There's lots more too, but I honestly can't think of them at this moment.

I saw it last night and the movie was absolutely hilarious. I echo the sentiments of if you enjoyed Step Brothers you'll enjoy this. It completely lived up to the hype it got.

That's one part that I dislike. I feel like the death of Heath Ledger is overshadowing the fact that Aaron Eckhart arguably did the best out of all 3 of the main characters. Yes, Ledger was the best Joker ever. Yes it was the best performance of his career. Yes, he was easily the highlight of the movie. But Aaron Eckhart doesn't get enough props for doing a GREAT job at Harvey Dent and for conveying the raw emotion of Two-Face.
-
Clearly it was his way of telling them that if you continue to wear that much makeup you will be mistaken for the Joker, and will be dealt with accordingly.

On a completley different note, has anyone heard of "Connor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band" ? apparantley its his solo project, which i don't understand because i thought he was the only member in bright eyes? >_<
I'm going to see them on August 9th and I'm insanely pumped.
Bright Eyes is Conor Oberst, Mike Mogis, and Nate Walcott. Conor has openly stated that as it being a band rather than it being just him.
To my knowledge the Mystic Valley Band record just leaked too, so I need to check that out. I've heard a live recording from them, but it wasn't great quality. What I heard was great though.
-
Jeff Mangum has to rank up there with some of them for me. I love the way he can convey such raw emotions, the best example of it is in Two Headed Boy Pt. 2 for me:
And when we breakwe’ll wait for our miracle,
God is a place where some holy spectacle lies.
And when we break
we’ll wait for our miracle,
God is a place you will wait for the rest of your life.
Two-headed boy,
she is all you could need,
she will feed you tomatoes
and radio wire,
and retire to sheets safe and clean,
but don’t hate her when she gets up to leave.
Ben Gibbard also seems to have a way with creating very moving and unique lyrics in his songs, whether it be with Death Cab, Postal Service, or any other projects. I wouldn't list him as one of the best, but he is certainly working his way up there.
Then there's Dylan, Cohen, in my eyes Morrisey is a great one too.

Sad to say that all of my inspiration for lyrics has come directly from heart ache, with the exception of a few. The one that has the least personable lyrics but still decent nonetheless (in my eyes at least) is Singing To The Sky.
Singing To The SkyAt the tender age of three I did my best to climb a tree
But as I fell right to the ground I shortly after found
That you must crawl before you walk, yeah you must sink before you swim
Maybe I shouldn’t reach for the sky
Maybe it’s just a bit too high
And at the height of my maturity, I can still only depend on me
These people I’m surrounded with will do nothing but push and kick
At my body as I fall
So just call me Berlin because I’m building up my walls
While crucified on my cross of deceit with blood in my hair and nails in my feet
I curse to nothing, in hopes that somebody
Will save me from myself and put me back up on the shelf
But until then all I can do is wait
For that cross to seal my fate
Now we’re all falling over backwards and hoping to be caught
Yeah we’re praying for a miracle and giving no more than a passing thought
To that chance that we’ll be forgotten and dropped upon the floor
But we don’t care about that anymore.
Yeah we know that feeling for sure
Judging by the life that I’ve been living, well The Beatles must have lied
Because I’m needing more than love right now in my attempts to get by
But the arms of a caring woman would do more good than bad
And with the luck that I’ve been having it can’t be worse than what I’ve had
So I’ll just toss my name in the hat.
And now I’ve been strumming on this guitar writing all these songs for you
But now it seems to be my turn, yeah I’m long overdue
We need a song of hope and longing, but we’ll get that no time soon
So I’ll continue with this symphony of forgotten, lonesome tunes
As I sing out to the sky about these familiar blues

Neutral Milk Hotel- In The Aeroplane Over The Sea
It's an absolutely brilliant album. It flows together so perfectly that anybody who's looking to get into indie music should always check out. Neutral Milk Hotel helped inspire the bands that are revered as the indie darlings today such as The Decemberists and The Shins. Not to mention the fact that the closing of the album is one of the best I've ever heard. It's a completely moving album and won't leave you disappointed.
and on another note if you check out Pavement then you should check out some of Stephen Malkmus. The singer of Pavement and he usually has a different backing band for each album. The latest one is Real Emotional Trash by Stephen Malkmus and The Jicks. But yeah, check out Malkmus if you enjoy Pavement.

I just got home from the screening.
Wow and Damn.
Best movie I've seen possibly ever. It just all fit together so perfectly. I had very very high expectations for this movie and they were completely exceeded when I left. I honestly don't think they could have cast a better actor/actress for any of the roles in the movie. Aaron Eckhart was amazing as Harvey Dent, Ledger was phenomenal as Joker, rinse lather and repeat for all of the other roles. It was simply an amazing movie and leaves you with an amazing feeling.

I got tickets to a midnight showing in a town like half an hour from mine so me and 7 friends are all getting in a van and heading down there tonight to go and see it. I'm so insanely excited for this movie.

Holy shit I was about to go to the VA Beach one, but I ended up going to Charlotte instead. I wish I could have met up with Toffee
Oh well, I'm pumped for the Charlotte one. This is my first Warped and I'm insanely excited for Say Anything and Gaslight Anthem.
I almost went to the Charlotte one as well because my father lives there.
My friends have backstage passes to the Virginia Beach show because We The Kings came to a local restaurant and played, then my friend who worked there talked with them for like an hour.
I kind of wish I would go to the VA beach show instead, but I'm content with Charlotte.
and HOLY SHIT I forgot Jack's Mannequin would be there. I've wanted to see some form of Andrew McMahon live since his Something Corporate days. Does anybody know if he incorporates ANY Something Corporate into his sets?

So I heard that they were going to have Low by Flo Rida but it's the Travis Barker remix.
Please tell me it's nothing more than terrible rumors
