  1. I am still finishing up the PWN 1.3 that I plan to release this week, but in the meantime, I thought that I would let everyone know that I have a new more reliable website. WOOO!!! http://exeventgames.com Thanks go out to the guys at PSDProtocol.com for setting me up.
  2. Here is the list of things that are already confirmed to be included in the next update: Fixes (Filename Length, and a few other small ones.) Move Commentary (Every single move will have it's own editable commentary. There will be three different entries.) Genders (There will now be the option to set the gender of a wrestler which will help with commentary.) Watch Match (There will be the option to watch a match and have it on autopilot so that you don't have to keep clicking continue. You will also have the option to set the speed.) Clear Match Records (There will be a button to click in order to reset all of the match records to zero.) --- Here are a couple of things that more than likely will be added but are still in the works: Custom Announcer Commentary I am thinking of having each announcer have it's own completely customizable commentary or have at least a few texts that can be edited. Secondary Finishers/Signature Moves I am thinking of adding a secondary finisher or a signature move field so that you can limit how much certain moves are performed. This move would be able to do more damage than a regular move, but not as much as a finisher. Editable Styles I don't know about making the wrestling styles completely editable, but I will more than likely make the base moves of the styles editable. I may also add a few moves to the styles as well. Well, that's what I have planned so far. There might be a few other things that I forgot to include, but those are the main things that I plan on adding right now.
  3. Yeah, I messed up there. I'll fix that in the next update as well.
  4. Okay, I will look at that. Thanks. As for the filename length issue... I already worked a fix for that and it will be included in the update. I just set it up so when you go to the wrestler editor, it automatically trims the filename to the max length if it is over 25 characters (including the extension). EDIT: I looked at it and it was because I set the program to search for Curt Hennig in the database. I originally had him as Curt Hennig and then changed him to Mr. Perfect.
  5. The changes to the announcers could be added with the changes to the move commentary that I am planning and would balance things out well. The custom title belts might be a little tricky to work, but the brand sort ability for the wrestler editor shouldn't be too hard to fit in. I might be able to fit in the title's design history though without too much work. I'll have to mess with it. As for the Body Damage, here's how it works: For each amount of Body Damage your opponent has, his chance of giving up to a submission is raised by roughly 3%. It doesn't have any relation to HP and is just used for submissions.
  6. Okay, it has nothing to do with the spaces or anything, it's the length of the filename. It is currently set to only 25 characters in the database. I could either increase the field size to the max (255) which would pretty much eliminate the problem and add a popup that explains the name is too long if it is somehow longer than that. The other thing I could possibly do is just have the program rename the file if it's too long. I might do a combo of both. Thanks for pointing that one out. I think people might get a similar error with pictures as well, so I will work on that too.
  7. Was the error when saving a wrestler or playing the music, because I tried both and had no troubles.
  8. Someone on another forum brought to my attention a bug in the match commentary in which it says, "Wrestler 1 hits Wrestler 1"... I have already fixed the bug, but I am working on a few other things to add into an update that will be released at some point within a week or so. If anyone else finds any bugs or has any suggestions as to what to add, I will do my best to include everything in this next update.
  9. I don't think that would be too hard to implement. I'll include with a few other small things that I am thinking of adding for an update.
  10. Yeah, I think that the way that it is made, you can make a database with MMA workers and just turn off pins and it would work well. If there is enough interest, I could even make a few changes to the program and release an MMA version.
  11. It's funny... the Papa Shango thing was added at the last minute. I wanted a cheat to allow for the wrestlers to gain HP and then I came up with Shango doing voodoo on everyone and then I came up with all of the other random cheats that he can perform.
  12. Oh, one more thing... I put the blank images for the wrestlers, announcers, and belts into a zip that can be downloaded here: http://geocities.com/exeventgames/files/pwnc_blanks.zip
  13. Yeah... all you would need to do is copy the data.mdb and the images with their respective folders into a zip. All of the data is stored in the one access database.
  14. Once again, thanks everyone. I may add some stuff to this game later on if there is still interest, but in the meantime, I am already starting on my next project.
  15. It is something that will be considered in the future, but in all honesty, TEW has the covered. The first thing that I want to do is make games that aren't out there already and expand into new genres. I have a couple of ideas for some games that haven't been done yet, but I want to wait until I have some significant work done on these projects before I announce them. With that said, I really would like to make a game like EWR at some point just because I enjoyed the game and even played a little TEW 2005, and I think that I could add some things to the genre. Anyway, thanks for the support, everyone. I am amazed that so many people are enjoying my game.

  19. I am in the process of adding them to the site, but in the meantime... hold shift and press I during a match and see what happens.
  20. Awesome. I was waiting for someone to figure those out. I'll probably post all of the cheats on the site in a day or so. I just think it's more fun for people to mess around and figure out some of the stuff themselves. If anyone has trouble with the first download link, here is another site that is hosting the file. http://www.freewarefiles.com/Pro-Wrestling...gram_15902.html
  21. Strange. I'll try to find an alternate site to upload it to tomorrow.
  22. I currently don't have it to where you can change the frequency of a move as you said, but the order that the moves are in determine how much they are used. The first move listed for example will be used more than the last move. Here's the bg...
  23. Thanks for the feedback guys. Just to let you all know... I threw a couple of "secrets" and/or "cheats" in the game as well.
  24. Yeah, I used to hang around PWSE back in the day as well. I too prefer the old EWR over TEW, not because it's free, but because it is more simple and to the point, but at the same time could use improving. A promoter sim like EWR is definitely something that I would like to take a stab at down the road, but I am just going to take everything one step at a time.
  25. Yeah, as I stated on my site, it's basically a computer version of an old card game that I created in 1998. It's a booking sim of sorts. As for more interactive games, those are coming. I just wanted to remake this old game first before I started working on some of the other ideas that I had. Whether you liked it or not, thanks for taking a look, guys.
