  1. We'll catch them! We've not played well yet this season, except for, perhaps the game against Mansfield. We have got Hatch back now from injury giving us the option of a big man up front. I think this is where we kick on and start to change our season. If this does not turn our season round, then i'm very worried. No pressure on Mr. Hatch then.

  2. Its gonna take time for the squad to gel. Give it a while, but if you do come down to the Blue Square, be thankful your still a club at all. Thats what it is like for us at the moment after all the crap we've faced, we're having a new start and rebuilding. Not going bad so far unbeaten in our first four games. You'll stay up anyway....theres far worse sides than you out there.

  3. Gone for a seven teamer this week, plus a three team (certs) bet.

Villa, Derby, Sheffield United, Millwall, Rochdale, Luton, Celtic with odds at 42

    Chelsea, Luton, Leeds at 3.

Also I went for a group bet with:

    Chelsea to win the league

    Hull to get relegated

    West Brom to get promoted

    Scunthorpe to get relegated

    Leeds to get promoted

    Yeovil to get relegated

    Notts County to get promoted

    Burton to get relegated

    Luton to get promoted

  4. I would just assume if they did fold, then all their games would be wins and three points for the other teams.

It would make no difference if all teams got 3/6 or 0 points, everyone would still be on the same anyway, so just leave it a 0. I want them to stay in the league though, surely the FA should be trying to help football teams instead of trying to hinder them. The 25 points is a hefty enough penalty, too hefty in my oppinion. Just let them play and get relegated which is what will inevitably happen with a 25 point deduction.

On a lighter note, Luton crushed Mansfield 4-1 last night in a display that could have provided another four goals. This was with 8 first teamers out either injured or suspended also. Mansfield are supposed to be one of the top sides in this league, so thats a great performance from us.

  7. He bowled 10 overs straight, only fleetingly going slower than 90 miles per hour, maybe one ball ever 15, it was an amazing spell. He was accurate and dangerous and they couldn't really play him. Shame he's bound to be injured for one of the tests, as he was limping alot. KP might miss out too.

  8. Well, see I'll be honest with you here, I didn't know Hleb was going on loan, nor did I know about this money. I literally thought it was a straight swap, I hadn't read anymore on the matter. I think Ibrahimovic will do better in Spain, and I think he adds something new to Barca. I have no issues with Eto'o at all, but Barca made the right move shipping off Ronaldinho perhaps they have done the same with Eto'o.

Picking up Hleb is a big bonus for Inter though, and that money could come in handy.

  9. We've just bought a 21 year old striker called Mame Biruf Diouf that will join us in January apparently. Never heard of the guy but he seems to have a good goalscoring record and Fergie says they've been watching him for two years so he must be a bit decent.

Manucho says hello! Sold off to Valladolid!

Also, Ibrahimovic and Eto'o swap deal, who comes off the better? I say Barca.
