Villa have found a unique clause in Van Bommel that will let him leave for just 2.8m. I have no idea what the clause actually is, but it sounds good to me. If Villa sign Van Bommel, I beleive that we'll be up there with the elite of the top 5.

I wasn't far off. I agree that Ronaldo is too cocky at times, but It's all part of his game. He's great to watch though, from a neutral prospective. The goal before half time finished Millwall off, If Millwall went in at half time at 0-0 it could have been a very different game. On a side note, Millwall looked to be playing the occassion, and not the game.

It's all over now, Valencia are Champions. Did Drogba play anygood? It's important that he shines on this kind of stage, I beleive he'll eventually be one of the best players in the world.

Personally, I find FFVII to be the best game of all time. It has everything, an amazing storyline, good characters, plot twists etc etc. You can probably pick the game up on the cheap now.

I'm shocked that Scott Parker isn't a definenite inclusion in the England squad. He's played far more football this season than Nicky Butt and had a Multi-Million pound move to Chelsea.

Euro 96 and the Commonwealth games aren't major international events. And the World cup we hosted was decades ago.

Apparently, we don't have sufficent experience at hosting other major tournements/games to get in with a shot at hosting the games. Wheras France reccently held the World cup, USA also held a World cup and Russia... They SORT OF hosted the olympic games, all though everybody boycotted.

London/England have been shortlisted to host the 2012 Olympic Games. We're up against USA, France and Russia. There are also some other countries short listed, can't remember who though...

Heskey's a useful powerhouse forward, people have got to realise that he isn't an out and out goal machine. He sets goals up, flicks the ball on etc.
