The thing with Man United is foreign managers aren't really wanted at Old Trafford. We want British managers. The person that takes over eventually will either be Moyes, Keane, O'Neil or Mclaren in my opinion. Its most likely to be Mclaren with a view to Keane taking over eventually.

Yay we slipped up against another bottom half team go United!
Seriously the team doesn't need improving its fantastic it just needs new tactics and new life put into it. Fergie has been a great manager but even if we do beat Arsenal in the cup final that doesn't hide 2 poor seasons in a row. Maybe it is time for him to leave and allow new ideas in as the team is fantastic and more than capable of dominating english football.

Wow that was amazing. We fell to pieces. Be interesting to see how we recover seeing as we have Newcastle again next.

Ok so in case you didnt know CM5 launches tommorrow. Anyone on here planning to buy it?
I probably will just to give it a go.

£37,809,564 was raised last night and of course there is still a lot more money to come in so they reckon it will be a record breaking year in the region of £61 million raised which is incredible.
I thought this years show was really great. The presenters they had were great ones to get as they are all very charasmatic people. Good way to end it as well with the images of Africa and the Peter Kay song with Chris Evans marching everyone out.

Best signing for me was Henrik Larsson for Cetlic single handly got them promoted to the English premier league then pretty much won it all on his own scoring 30+ goals.
Worst signing has to be Adriano, never scores for me and is always in need for a rest.
-
How on earth did Werder Bremen make it into the 2nd stage of the champions league? They were awful.
And AC deserved the win a real world class team. Man United just werent at their best once again and the loss of Giggs was a bitter blow.

Yeah most brazilian regens are either fat guys or guys who look like they havent left their houses for the last few years.
I tend to find myself just hanging onto my "stars" for as long as possible to avoid having to search for another player amongst all the rubbish that appears.
-
Although it was a rather poor performance today we got the job done and have cut the lead to 6 for now.
Positive from today though is that Ruud looked good today and the link up between him and Rooney for our second was top draw.
-
As long as regens have been made decent I will be happy! Its so hard to buy new players in when all their stats are rubbish.

My season is getting screwed over majorly because of fixture conjestion to the max.
In the matter of a week I have to play 5 games!
On Sunday I played Birmingham, next night it was a match away at WBA, on Wednesday FA Cup semi final against a Chelsea team who hadnt played in a week, thursday play against the saints, saturday I have to play Spurs. Then the next wednesday its a UEFA Cup final with a match against Newcastle in the premiership a week after it ends!
So very annoying as there is no way I can play my full 11 for all those games or even half and I still need to grab 6 points to win the premiership.
-
Bah I would have been happy with a 0-0 but bloody goalkeeper cocked it up once again. We need an early goal in San Siro now and after seeing the way AC Milan play tonight I dont feel United will get one even if van Nistelrooy starts. One other annoyance why take off the one chance of getting into the game in Ronaldo? Why not just replace rooney with ruud he didnt do much all game.
-
Also take into account Bayern were missing their star player last night. Having Ballack will give the players at Bayern a boost and really I doubt Arsenal will be able to stop them from getting goals.
Tonights games are what the Champions League is about, Man United Vs AC Milan and Barcelona Vs Chelsea should be some great games as you just know Manchester United will come out attacking non stop and same for Barca. Should be two great matches tonight.
-
It doesnt matter how much they cost. They dont play together week in week out. Sure they may play together in training but everyone knows thats different. It was an under strength Chelsea team and to beat them is like beating an under strength Arsenal or Man United team it doesn't mean much at all.
-
Thats the point they weren't. They could barely muster a string of passes together. Throughout the second half Chelsea were the better team and they only had 10 men! They didn't play at all well and against a full strength Chelsea they would have been ripped to shreds the way they played. Beating an under strength Chelsea means nothing, the team played on Sunday by Chelsea was not the team that is topping the premiership.
-
Diego I can tell you now that Manchester United will not meet Arsenal in the quarter finals. Why you ask because thats what yesterdays draw was for. The next round is the semi finals.
-
-
Because the premiership is recognised at the moment as the best league in the world. And it has made the premiership better, next season both Manchester United and Arsenal will further have to step up although Chelsea may win it again with some of the players linked to them like Kaka and Adriano.
-
Christ gooners even a sore loser when Manchester United lose.
Chelsea wont dominate world football, Porto and Man City have beaten them. United and Arsenal can still match them. Real Madrid have proved that buying the worlds best players doesnt always work as they have been struggling recently.
-
Well Second half was probably the best half of football this season between two english teams, great stuff. Shame to lose but its only the Carling Cup I would take the FA Cup over it any day and I hope we field the same team again against Middlesbrough.
-
How the heck do you load tactics up? I keep looking for the thing thats meant to be there but its not!
-
Gooner you're just trying to make excuses. The times of the matches dont mean jack. I would say the bigger pressure is on the teams that kick off at 12.30 which incidently is nearly always Liverpool or Manchester United as they are in the situation that they have to win because if they dont the teams kicking off at 3 will be spurred on. Surely the later the kick off the better as your team will know all the days results and know what they have to do.
-
Yet another win against Liverpool today, once again thanks to good old Jerzy Dudek. Looks like we may end up finsihing 2nd which certainly isnt good but better than last years 3rd with signs that we are certainly getting a lot better as this season progresses. Which only points to good things next season.
Also what are your thoughts on Heinze. I think he has to be undoubtably the signing of the year, recently he has been fantastic.
-
I love the way Gooner takes losing matches so easily.

Yeh 4-5-1 at Home...what is the point?
Chelsea deserved to win United were just useless again what was the point in dropping Giggs?! He was our best player on Sunday and would have given us some sort of chance against them rather than us make Rooney do all the work.
