I just realised in this playthrough - Kuja is looking for an Eidolon better than Alexander, and if he hadn't sent the party to Oeilvert for the Gulug Stone instead of going himself then he would have encountered Ark, which is the best Eidolon in the game. His own fear of death (which is the key to his arc) ironically cost him the very thing that could have saved it.
I'm loving your comments as you play. I got it right away when it came out on PS4 as its always been my favourite, but only got so far before I got super busy. Can't wait to get stuck back in over the next couple of weeks.

How did you do it? I purchased the Deluxe Edition, so I should have access to the DLC Packs at some point.
Normally going back to the press start screen and re-entering will have the desired effect. Sometimes you may need to restart the application though.

He’s got a load of good ones of actually interesting wrestlers too.

I would like to support an EWBer podcast, but I do not watch spooky movies because I am a big baby. Would you say its worth a listen if you're not familiar with the source material?
There are a couple movie/show podcasts I've listened to, which you definitely want to have watched the source material for (Greatest Gen) and some for which not watching probably makes them funnier (Worst Idea of all Time)
I’ve listed to a few where I haven’t actually seen the film (Jason X most recently) and it was a good laugh.

Anyone who has ever complained about anything in FF can shut the fuck up because jump rope in FFIX is the worst mini game ever and that's all there is to it. I'm literally cheating and still can't do it. I managed it legitimately once but like fuck am I doing it that way again.
This so much. Don’t think I’ve ever even made 5 on it.

It’s a phenomenal game, which I was happy to pay full price for. And I’m a long time FF fan.

Just 2 more hours at work and I can go home and play this, set it installing before I headed out.
For some reason all the glitches were a usp for me..

I'm interested to get the perspective from someone who feels this way. I had no issue with the fact that everything boiled down to a three-way choice, but it was the way it seemed to clash with the lore built up by three long games that annoyed me. What was your take on that, if you don't mind my asking?
I felt that all the things which had been started and built up throughout the series were resolved during the 3rd game - obviously the extra dlc made a huge difference too. I know I’m in the minority but when that choice came up I was like ‘oh shit’ and genuinely sat there stunned for a few minutes.

The ending of Mass Effect 3 was brilliant. Not the lack of epilogue, that was shit until they sorted it.
A series for me which was defined by having to make difficult choices, the final challenge was to make an incredibly difficult, near impossible decision.

I've not played yet, which ones are the ones in the pause menu? Is the speed one in there? If so that makes the Excalibur run a joke.
Nah. The pause menu is stuff like in VII, speed up, battle assists & no encounter stuff.
I think (I’m at work right now) the config menu ones are stuff like unlocking all abilities and that kinda thing. Pretty much stuff which may take the fun out of it if you ask me

Is it true the mods disable trophies?
Unless it’s just specific trophies, no. Because I tried them out and have since unlocked trophies.

Just checked. The ones in the config menu (permanent mods) DO disable them, but the pause menu one (toggle on/off mods) are safe.

So the speed up mod is pretty horrible, way too fast.
That said, I’m having no problem playing through this without mods and cheats because it’s so lovely in its original form.

It's out! And only £13.51 for PS+ Memebrs!

Finished!
Well sort of, I completed the story. Did all the important/companion stuff. Only got round to killing 1/10 dragons and I totally forgot to go to the Hissing Wastes like, at all. I'll go back and do everything else at a later date though.
Loved the way the story and all the characters had developed by the end. Great stuff. I liked the boss fights at the end. It was more than a glorified QTE that you often get in games nowadays but it wasn't so hard it fell into the 'bullshit' category.
Oh and I see they went 'full Marvel' with the post credits scene, but damn what a scene. Another game please!
Many years later I finally got around to finishing this, doing all the extra stuff and killing the dragons.
Plus all of the DLC which I enjoyed throughly. Trespasser and the Descent both blew the lore wide open and the former sets up a 4th game awesomely. As a whole package, one of my favourite games for sure.
It was a slog sometimes early on, but so so worth it if you give it the time it deserves (I clocked in at around 130 hours by the end).

Arno and Evie are both great.

No Alesteir.
That is sad but Metalik and the Iconic Duo being in makes up for it

Only 4 episodes in but I’m loving The Gifted so far. Really happy to see some favourite characters brought to life.
