You need to make sure your router ports are open to allow fm to go online. I mean actually going through the router via your web browser and forwarding the ports, as just letting it have access through your firewall will still block it.

God damn is that Royal Rumble annoying. So all you have to do is be whipped into the ropes and you're over? Finally got my game working last night, I have to run it through Steam every time though, but hey, better than it not working at all!

Started a game with Arsenal, and i've have a bloody awful start to the season! Signed Veloso, Srna, and Lescott. But my league form is shocking. Played 4, Won 1, Lost 3!!!

No, you do not. Go into the steam folder within program folders, then steamapps, find football manager, and then it is everything like the old games. Just create a desktop shortut from fm.exe, then you do not need steam running, though getting the updates auto is good.

Got it installed finally!

What a fucking joke. Working for hmv today, so many people came in trying to bring it back because they couldn't install. Gave si benefit of the doubt, thought can't be that bad surely. Got home, installed fine, try and play on it using steam, wait whats this, its now telling me to enter my code again, do that........can not connect to the internet. Fuck right off, where is that no cd patch.

Apparantly not, oh and loads of people are having problems because in their wisdom, sega have printed the authentication key in dots, so o and 0 look the same, i and 1 and t look the same, and when you get a key like 1O0OIt all printed in dots, you aint guessing that anytime soon
