Fm 2010 new skin...
Shouldn't have been released this early but Miles was drunk and testing twitpic. We are still using the 2009 skin for beta testing so no idea how it handles or anything.

On the topic of over head kicks:

Second one is scored against me, don't usually save ones against me but that one was so good it had to be uploaded

Cool goal, is that the trick where they flick it over their heads then usually turn round and whack it? Never seen it look like that before. Also the goal before yours is fantastic as well
-
Blackburn are now using Leighs ground as our reserve team stadium, could see them becoming an unofficial feeder club at some point.
As for farsley, I heard they got kicked out 3 hours after the fixtures where released, couldn't they have done it before that point?

Just curious, has there been any word on FM2010 yet?
Don't think so but you can bet 1 million peso's there will be a FM10 They have a lot to fix/change actually.
It is currently being beta tested actually. I have mentioned it before in this thread as I am a tester.
So you can tell us something about the features?
Unfortunately not (Can actually get taken to court if we breach the contract) but they usually release news in August anyway so only a month to wait. I suppose I can say it is a lot faster than 09 though on older computers as that is not really a feature as such.
-
If you say so then yeah. Somebody asked if there was any word on fm10 and I told them there is. What the hell is the problem with that? Stop trying to be a keyboard warrior.

We have accepted a bid of £18m off city for santa cruz apparantly. It was always going to happen but I am glad it looks to be over with this weekend, did not want a repeat of last summer and january!

I'll come on board as the token Wrexham follower, someone has to don't they
Not the only one following Wrexham...
Anyway, last I checked Matt Jansen was mulling over some contract offers he was getting after playing like... 2-3 games for Wrexham. Might sign for us. Whoever he goes to though will gain a player who will spend 90% of the season injured and probably depressed.
he signed for leigh this week, as I stated on the first page. Obviously him and flitty played together at rovers so that should help him alot. It also is not like he has not been doing anything, he spent the latter half of 2008 training with us (blackburn) so i really think, if he has got his head right mentally, then he will be very very good for them
-
With the legendary Leigh RMI, excuse me, Leigh Genesis no longer in the BSP or BSN I will now be supporting Barrow. Go Barrow.
Awesome team, Flitcroft as manager with Matty Jansen upfront Will be keeping an eye out on them this year just to see how the two do
-
Just keep doing tournaments, with the game difficulty set at the lowest if you have too. You can make around 800 coins a game easily just by scoring 7-8 goals and not conceding, not fouling, having possesion, shots on target etc.
-
Or conveniently forgetting to have a test run and we find that the game crashes after half a season in
Na, the build we are currently testing allows us to test up to the end of the season, then later on we get two seasons ;-)

Just got Beckham, Henry and Diego in a gold pack, as well as Newcastle home kit and Aston Villa Badge I did wonder just where 10000 points had come from though, guess ea did it as a favour for everyone who bought at the start and couldnt play because of the servers?
-
Christ, Everton, Aston Villa, Arsenal, Burnley, Chelsea, Man U all after each other. Bad times. Though we will get atleast 3 points out of that nightmare
-
We start at home against city, then in octobee we have arsenal away, burnley home, man u away, chelsea away......nice
-
This is probably the first pre season where I do not have a clue where Rovers will finish, it all depends on what we do in the transfer market. If we sell Roque for the £15m city are reported to have offered, then we need a new striker, new cm, new rb, backup or new lm, so basically 4 new players. Then we are looking at selling Derbyshire and Zurab, so that is another new striker and cb that we need. All in all.........probably bottom half of the table again, but not in a relegation fight this time.

If you turn the detail levels to minimum and the processing level to fastest cant interrupt, the game flies
-
It failed me because I am running Windows 7, stupid site.
-
That would be the one, correct decision for him obviously, look at him now, international career is well and truely fantastic
-
Ahh, last time this was on myself and IAceI just argued about Bentley all the way through it, good times. Will be watching again and hoping we don't sign someone on the back of playing well here, like we did with Rigters. I think we have loaned him out somewhere, but he is obviously not missed much as not many of the rovers fans have an idea where he is.

So, anyone with a season ticket get their renewal letter(or however your club handles it) yet? If so, have the prices been reduced much? Haven't got mine yet, but the rumor is they haven't cut the prices down at all. I'm unsure how I feel about it. Sure. there's 4 more games to go and see, but we're in the Championship, so I expected at least a small cut.
I should wait until I actually get the renewal letter before I start bitching though...
Not reduced much, just from around £300 to £129 for a 16-21, or £199 for over 21. Not reduced much at all.....

We have signed elrio van heerden on a free. No idea about this guy but heard he is rapid and if there is one thing we need in our team its pace as we have not had it since Duff. As for Barry, what happened to wanting to leave for champions league football?

Haha Fraser Eagle, I spent ages trying to figure out if I'd heard that name while looking at the colourfull/small stand in Ewood Park.
Then again I was in the Jack Walker stand surrounded by old bastards, no kidding I heard a woman two rows behind me shout "Give me strength!". Then they honoured a guy whose been coming to Ewood Park since 1928 and up until the end of this season was walking a mile and a half every match to get there. He's been put in a retirement home in Moffat so they had a little tribute to him, the kinda summed it up. That and the bloke behind me kept accidentally poking me with his walking stick.
Was like being in town on midday or something with all the old farts. Looked like the Blackburn End was the end to be in, they were possibly the only ones who couldn't really heard the West Brom fans deafening the entire ground with their chanting.
Mate, it is well known the jack walker stand is the graveyard stand, i refuse to sit in that stand due to nobody singing and the old people giving you grief if you do.
