old mtv show

does anyone remember an old show that used to air on MTV around 00-01. it had to do with putting a group of people in empty prisons, or old houses...and they had to spend the whole night doing obstacles, like staying in a dark room for 30 minutes to an hour. then if they completed, at the end of the night they'd be given money as an award...I for the life of me, can not remember what the name of the show was, if someone could help me out, that'd be great. thanks.

I saw Fear a couple times, it was a pretty creepy show, I enjoyed it a little, but I wouldn't stay up just to watch it.
