A question about the X-port for the ps2

Ok I bought a shark port a while back and foudn out I needed a new disk for my updated ps2 in order for it to work. I contacted the company as was told that since a new company had taken over that I'd have to wait until they release the new sharkport. so I gave my sharkport to a friend whose system it works on..

he told me i should look into an xport

I'm under the assumption that the xport is a sharkport for other region ps2s

so will a regular xport work on an american ps2 ? or are my assumptions correct

Anybody know ? I've got to find out quick casue I've got a good deal for one at the moment and if ti will work I definetly dont won't to pass it up

Sorry if it's later then your deal...

It's not just a sharkport for other regions, it's the competition of the Sharkport. It's made by Datel and from what I hear it works almost like the Sharkport just different software.

I went ahead and bought it so you saying ti should work on American ps2's ? if so thats very good Now I don't have to worry about printing out caw formulas for SVR
