EWR/Seinfeld

I remember waaaay back in the day, someone noted that the fridge magnets on Jerry's refridgerator were aligned as EWR.

I was watching Seinfeld today, and I don't know if this was pointed out or not during that last spotting, but in the episode where Kramer bakes his shirts and George buys his boss the calzones, there's a yellow piece of paper with 'EWR' shaded on it, and it's taped to the fridge.

Did anyone ever find out the significance of this? It seems like a running trend on the show.

Does it have something to do with Superman.... because Seinfeld also has Superman in most episodes too.

EDIT: 3.12 What did the EWR on Jerry's refrigerator mean?

EWR is the airport code for Newark International.

Why it's on Jerry's refrigerator remains a mystery.

Got that from a Seinfeld FAQ site, the general belief is that it either stands for that, or someone's initials, although I believe the later is more probable out of the two. It's probably just an inside thing.
