Lord Of the Rings: The Musical?

So, did anyone read this article? My wife sent it to me, and I just had to shudder. As much as I love musicals, and as much as I love the Lord of the Rings, this idea=bad bad bad.

For one thing, I fail to see how they're going to keep the musical a decent length and still fit in ANY of the story.

For another, well, it's just BAD.

But hey, maybe it'll somehow work. I WILL at least give it a shot. But I'm not anticipating much.

Best part of the whole thing, Is that it's opening in Toronto. Big boost for Canada's theaters.
