Promotion Company

I'm getting ready to turn 18 and when I do (probably the day of if not the next day) I'm going to apply for my business license. A friend of mine runs a promotion company (Paintedredpromotions.com if you don't know what I'm refering to) and I'm going to be doing the same with bands a little South of us since he has the bands directly in the area.

Anyway, I'm asking you guys (and gals around here) to help me out with some details I need to work out.

-How do I go about applying for my business license?

-Do you know of any good names that would work as a promotion company? I've tried, but I'm lacking creativity right now.

Yeah you should ask you friend and as for a name...why not use something like "the Record Label." Ultra simple, ultra generic...yet ultra catchy
