Road Warriors defeated Gonzalez and Kamala w/Harvey Wippleman

Superstars opened up with a pretty even Tag Team Match up. Gonzalez and Kamala kept the upper hand throughout the match by making quick tags and isolating Hawk. Scoop Slam by Gonzalez that was pretty sloppy on Hawk. Choke with boot followed by a tag to Kamala. Kamala smothered Hawk with his fat by and sloppy running body splash and covered for a two count. Kamala argues with the referee long enough for Hawk to get up and use all his energy to take Kamala down with a stiff clothesline. Both men are down and crawl to their respective corner. Hawk tags in Animal first. Kamala tags in Gonzalez. Multiple clotheslines to Gonzalez and Kamala get the crowd into the match. Hawk and Kamala start fighting outside. Animal whips Gonzalez to the ropes. Gonzalez comes running back and Animal hits a stiff Powerslam for the win. The Road Warriors celebrate in the ring to cheers as usual before leaving.

Bad Blood

Backstage we see Bret Hart getting coffee. Ric Flair walks in his face and the two men trade some words. Flair knocks the coffee out of Bret’s hand. Bret swings on Flair but doesn’t get a good hit in because the two men instantly get broken up by WWF staff members. The two men continue to trade words as they are separated. It seems like respect is not a part of this relationship.

More Money

Todd Pettengill is with Jimmy Hart and Money Inc on the interview set. Pettengill asks Money Inc if they are ready to defend their WWF Tag Team Titles against The Steiner’s at the Royal Rumble. DiBiase said that they don’t have to be ready. IRS said that they can beat The Steiner Brothers with their eyes closed. Jimmy Hart finished the interview by saying anyone that went to school in Michigan can’t be that hard to defeat. Pettengill questioned their cocky attitudes as Money Inc. laughed their way off the set.

The Patriot doesn’t waste anytime by starting the match off with hard rights and lefts. The Mountie is overwhelmed by fists and escapes outside to discuss strategy with Jimmy Hart. He knocks The Patriot down with an ax handle smash to his lower back and covers for two.  The Patriot starts to make his face comeback with drop kicks and then a DDT for a long two. The Mountie gets the advantage back with a rake to the eye. The Mountie suplexes The Patriot and then grabs his cattle prod from Jimmy Hart. Tatanka comes down to the ring and The Mountie sees him and drops his cattle prod. Tatanka slowly walks down the aisle and The Mountie starts yelling at him. Machismo

Todd Pettengill was backstage with Razor Ramon. Pettengill asked Razor about why he thinks Undertaker attacked him on Monday Night Raw last week. Ramon said that Undertaker is just a sore loser and he’s upset that the Bad Guy beat him a few weeks back. Pettengill then asks Ramon about his upcoming match against Virgil. Ramon said Virgil is not on the Bad Guy’s level. Ramon then went back to Undertaker and said that if he interferes in anymore of his matches then Undertaker’s going to feel the wrath of all of Ramon’s machismo. Ramon then took the toothpick out of his mouth and threw it and Pettengill and followed that up by doing his, “Finish The Job Taunt” by clapping his hands together as if he were to bet getting the dirt off.

Another squash match. Virgil had no offense. Ramon literally smacked Virgil to start the match. Kick to the gut by Ramon followed by a piledriver. Ramon faked a pin then lifted Virgil up. Ramon locked Virgil in an abdominal stretch and when Virgil was about to tap out he released the hold. Ramon moved slowly in the ring as he lifted Virgil up and nailed his patent Fallaway Slam. He sat there for about ten seconds before getting up and giving the Razor’s Edge sign to a round of boos. Ramon lifted Virgil up and put his head between his legs doing the Razor’s Edge sign once more. Ramon nailed it to perfection and pinned Virgil for the academic three. MONDAY NIGHT RAW

Monday, 18 January 1993

Monday Night Raw comes on with the regular video package. The cameras then go down to Vince McMahon and Bobby “The Brain” Heenan. McMahon tells us that the Royal Rumble will be on Sunday, January 31st. Bobby Heenan says he can’t wait for the Royal Rumble. Vince seconded that comment as The Steiner Brothers’ music hit Vince took us to the ring.

The Steiner Brothers defeated Gonzalez and Kamala w/Harvey Wippleman via Pinfall

Scott and Kamala started off the match. They tied-up, kick to the midsection by Scott followed by a DDT that was sold poorly. Scott looked Kamala up in a half crab but Kamala broke free using his fat. The two men eyed each other. Kamala tagged in Gonzalez. Gonzalez and Scott share some words. The two men start brawling. Scott gets the upper hands and nails a Side Belly to Belly for a 2 count. Scott tags in Rick. Rick whips Gonzalez to the corner and does 10 Punches as the crowd counts the hits. Gonzalez wobbles out of the corner and Rick nails a Bulldog for a long 2. Rick does tags in Scott. The Steiner’s do a good job isolating Giant Gonzalez. Scott puts Gonzalez in an armbar as Harvey Wippleman starts hitting the convas to get his team back in the match. Scott releases the hold and whips Gonzalez to the ropes. Gonzalez comes running back and gets nailed with a hard Powerslam! Scott makes the covers as Money Inc. runs down the isle. Scott gets up as Dibiase distracts the referee on the apron. IRS slides in the ring and goes to hit Scott with his brief case but Scott ducks. Rick is now in the ring and nails IRS with a Bulldog! Rick picks up the brief case and nails Kamala with it to a small pop! He slides it out of the ring as Kamala lay on the ground and DiBiase goes to help IRS. Rick gets out of the ring as Scott calls for the Frankensteiner to a small pop. He picks Gonzalez up and whips him to the ropes. Vince and Heenan question if he can do it to Ginat Gonzalez. He comes back and Scott nails it but Gonzalez did not sell it very well. Scott covers and gets the three count. Wippleman is going crazy outside the ring as he goes to Kamala’s aid and The Steiner Brothers leave the ring. DiBiase and IRS start walking back as well leaving Gonzalez and Kamala left discussing what went wrong with their manager.

Watch Closely

Backstage! Todd Pettengill is standing with “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair. Todd asks Flair about his match tonight against The Patriot. Flair says that The Patriot is going to tap out to the Figure Four Leg Lock tonight. Flair went on and said he loves and respect the red white and blue but he doesn’t respect The Patriot. Pettengill proceeded with interview and asked Flair about the Royal Rumble and Bret Hart. Flair laughed and said Bret is lucky that he’s going to be able to wrestle in the same ring as him at the same time. He then said Bret is a kid compared to him and he’s going to be the one going to WrestleMaina 9 to defend the WWF World Title. Flair ended the interview by warning Bret to watch his match against The Patriot closely because that’s only going to be half of what Bret will get at the Royal Rumble.

McMahon and Heenan welcomes us back. Heenan takes no time in talking about the next match. He says that his new favorite wrestler will be taking on his old favorite wrestler. He then ranted about Mr. Perfect, saying he would be nothing without him by his side and he hopes that The Narcissus gives him a good beatdown right now.

Mr. Perfect defeated The Narcissus w/James E. Cornette via DQ

Perfect and The Narcissus traded words before Perfect smacked him in the face to a round of cheers. Narcissus quickly reacted with rights and lefts backing Perfect to the corner. Narcissus went for a Superplex but Perfect pushed him down. Perfect waited for Narcissus to get up then nailed a second turnbuckle Double Ax Handle Smash for a 2 count. Perfect yelled, “Now That’s Perfect” to a small pop as Narcissus got to his feet. Perfect went for a Piledriver but Narcissus reversed it to a back body drop. Both men went down. The referee started his count as Cornette pounded the canvas with his tennis racket trying to give The Narcissus support. At e8 Perfect got up and at 9 Narcissus got up. They started to trade blows and Perfect started blocking Narcissus punches and nailing him. Perfect then hit a well executed Back Breaker on The Narcissus. He got up and yelled, “Perfect-Plex!” He lifted Narcissus up and nailed his finisher with perfect execution. When the referee got to 2 the pin got released and Cornette was beating Perfect with his tennis racket! The crowd was roaring boos as Cornette stopped and helped The Narcissus up. Mr. Perfect was declared the winner by DQ but he hadn’t won the war and it wasn’t over. As Perfect got up The Narcissus came charging at him with his patent Running Forearm! Perfect got nailed and he seemed to be out cold! Narcissus did a muscle pose and then left the ring to boos as paramedics rushed to the ring.

Tatanka defeated Bam Bam Bigelow w/Luna Vachon via Pinfall

Tatanka limped down to the ring still feeling the effects of the attack on him moments ago. Bam Bam went on attack quickly with a Back Breaker and then a Rib Breaker. He covered quickly for a 2. Bigelow stalled to double check the count that gave Tatanka time to get up. He slowly hammered Bigelow with weak Tomahawk chops but they wore the big man down. Both men got back to their feet and stared one another down. Ramon faked a test of strength and kicked Bulldog in the midsection then nailed a Piledriver for 2. Ramon then whipped Bulldog to his corner and tagged in Shawn. The two worked Bulldog over with kicks to his midsection before Ramon got out of the ring. Shawn lifted Bulldog up and nailed some rights before Bulldog started blocking them and nailing some of his own. He then hit a Clothesline on Shawn taking him down. That was enough for HBK and he tagged Razor back in. Razor slowed the match down with yet another tie-up. This time Bulldog whipped Ramon to the ropes and nailed a Powerslam and got a 2. Bulldog tagged in Undertaker and Ramon tagged in Shawn in a cowardly fashion. Shawn was a bit spectacle on entering the ring so Undertaker helped him by tossing him in. Undertaker put Shawn in the corner and worked him over with rights and lefts to Shawn’s body. He then did his Rope Walk to a round of cheers. Ramon watched in fear as Undertaker nailed Shawn with a ChokeSlam. He then called for the Tombstone as the crowd got the their feet and Paul Bearer raised the urn. This week on Superstars!

In the Main Event The Narcissus will go at it with Marty Janetty! Mr. Perfect will not be at Superstars because he's still in the hospital after the attack on him at Monday Night Raw courtesy The Narcissus! I suggest Marty Janetty becareful when he steps into the ring with The Nacsissus this week on Superstars!

Owen Hart will be in singles competition against The Mountie! The advantage goes to Owen Hart because The Mountie has not won a match in 1993 yet! It could be because all he could think about lately is Tatanka who will be in the house this Saturday! That just makes matters worse for The Mountie! Lets see if he can pick up his first win of 1993 on Superstars!

Crush will be in action when he takes on Rick Martel! Crush is entered in the Royal Rumble and it's always a good idea to pick up as many wins as you can if your entering the Royal Rumble!

Jake Roberts and Virgil will go head to head! However wins this match could see a lot of dorrs open up for them in the WWF and could by them a spot in the Royal Rumble! Both Superstars will be trying to win that's for sure.

Razor Ramon will be in the house! Maybe he could explain his actions on Monday Night Raw! Everyone is wondering why he let Shawn Michaels get Tombstoned by Undertaker and looked so scared as the show ended. If you want to fnind out tune into Superstars!

MONDAY NIGHT RAW

Shawn Michaels w/Sensational Sherri defeated Marty Jannetty via Pin Fall

Monday Night Raw started with the usual video package. After listening to Heenan and McMahon hype up tonight’s card and the Royal Rumble we got into our first match. This was a match just to hype up Michaels. Shawn started off with some quick speed moves like Arm Drags. After nailing a Drop Kick he went for a pin and got a fast 2. Michaels then tried to whip Jannetty to the turnbuckle but it was reversed. Jannetty charged Michaels but he got his boot up and Jannetty ran face first into Shawn’s boot. Jannetty turned away holding his face and Shawn nailed him with a Bulldog. Instead of going for a cover he went to the outside and game Sensational Sherri a small kiss on her lips. Sherri kissed Shawn back before he got back in the ring. Jannetty was just getting up but Shawn sent him back to the canvas with a DDT. Michaels played the crowd a little then lifted Jannetty up and nailed his Side Suplex. That move just looks nasty. Shawn then covered for the win.

Pettengill repeated his same question over and this time Shawn answered. He said that he interfered because It’s funny to see Bulldog lose to someone like Reed Rooster. Shawn said Bulldog had no reason to lose. Shawn blew a bubble with his bubble gum and said if he lost to Red Rooster he would give up his Intercontinental Title. He then said that he’s not British Bulldog so he doesn’t have to worry about that though. Shawn gave Sensational Sherri a small kiss in front of the camera and then took her hand and walked off.
