Perfect Dark N64 question

How do you access the actual missions? All I can seem to get to is the 'Small but Perfect Menu', and do challenges and multi-player mode.

Can I ask my own very silly Perfect Dark question? I used to play this when it first came out at a mates, and I swear there was an option to change the rules for how points are scored in the multi-player mode. What I mean by that is, you could set if you got 1 point for a kill, or 1 for a kill, -1 for a death etc.

I got an N64 and the game (which I LOVE) recently, but can;'t find this option, which means I probably imagined it, but I just thought I'd check. Its no biggie.

Anyway, love the game.
