James Vadnais, Adam Pearce, The H8 Club, and Carnifex came out to the ring to open up the show for the crowd. They shat on the crowd for a few minutes before noticing a fan in the front row decked out in NYCW gear-from a hat to sweat pants. Vadnais whispered to Carnifex, who got out of the ring after hearing what he (Vadnais) had to say. He walked up to the fan, talked to him, and pulled him over the barricade by the collar of his shirt. He slid him into the ring and The H8 Club began laying boots into him. They picked the fan up and delivered a Stiff Double Back Suplex, folding the fan in half onto his neck. Carnifex picked the fan up and told Gage to take the padding off the top turnbuckle. Gage followed orders and Carnifex slammed the fans head into the exposed metal turnbuckle a few times until the fan started bleeding. He then grabbed him and delivered a Carni-Plex (Head & Neck Suplex). Pearce got his hands on the fan finally and picked him up. Pearce wasted no time and quickly nailed a Rack Bomb 2 to him. Vadnais told Pearce and Carnifex something, and the two picked the fan up. They grabbed him by the arms and whipped him towards Vadnais, who delivered a sloppy calf kick. He took the fans head and rubbed it on the NYCW logo on the mat, smearing blood over it. Vadnais got back on the mic and told the crowd that this will be the fate of NYCW.

Flyin' Jimmy Foxx [versus] "The Intruder" The Prophet

Being a brainwashed moron, the match was pretty good. In reality, the match sucked ass. Neither could really do anything to get the crowd into the match, except for the obvious heel and face moves like flipping the crowd off, low blow, screaming 'NYCW!' to the crowd...Um...Both ended up standing on the outside apron, and the grabbed eachother by the head, flew off the apron and slammed eachother's head into the barricade. With that the ref began counting them out. Foxx was to his feet first and was about to slide into the ring, but Prophet grabbed him by the foot and tripped him just as the ref got to 10.

Winner-DRAW via Count Out (38% O.R.)

-----

Travis Century [versus] "The Intruder" Eric Alexander

Nice match..Well, nice enough for the crowd, who were into it. The only thing that ruined it was, surprise, Century's poor performance tonight. Alexander got some german suplexes, tilt-a-whirl backbreakers, and spinning elbow smashes in, and even countered a double axe handle attempt into a belly to belly suplex. After Century got back on the offense, he went for the Big Lariat, but Alexanderwas quicker and nailed a Big Boot to win the match.

Winner-"The Intruder" Eric Alexander (52% O.R.)

-----

"The Intruder" Threat [versus] The Masked Mauler

As bad as the first match. Actually, this was worse in terms of actual quality, as little as there was. Mauler no-sold a lot and botched simple moves. Threat tried going in for the Dream Killer DDT to end the match early, but Mauler wouldn't let him. After no-selling some more, Mauler violently kicked Threat in the gut and Powerbombed him. He went for the pin, but Threat got his shoulder up. As Mauler got back up, Threat quickly got to his feet and delivered a low blow in plain sight, ending the match then and there.

Winner-The Masked Mauler (38% O.R.)

-----

"The Intruders" The H8 Club [versus] Wiley Coyote

Hot damn I think we found a pair of teams that could work well together in a little program. Both sides reacted nicely with eachother and had no problems cooperating. Even with Wiley Coyote's lack of speed and technique, they still managed to take some moves more in those categories. H8 Club was even able to deliver a double suplex on the outside to Wiley, landing him on the outside mats. Another good moment in the match was the end when Nate had Coyote set up for a reverse facelock tornado ddt. He spun around, but instead of actually delivering a ddt, he landed on his feet and landed Coyote's neck on his (Nate's) knee, ala Christian. He then lifted Coyote up in the air and positioned him so that Coyote's legs were on the top rope, not in the corner though. Gage was on the apron and he jumped onto the top rope and nailed a Frogsplash as Nate delivered a reverse ddt drop, followed by Nate dragging Coyote away from the ropes and pinning him.

Winners-The H8 Club (57% O.R.)

-----

"The Intruder" Carnifex [versus] American Buffalo

Not a MOTY qaulifier, but a decent enough match. Carnifex, still pumped up from the beatdown to the fan earlier, got on the offense faster than you can say this sentance. He started pissing the Buffalo off after he kept slapping him in the face, and soon Buffalo unleashed his wrath. He tackled Carnifex to the mat and began pummeling him with punches. The ref tried getting him off, but Buffalo just shoved him and continued with the punches on Carnifex. After the ref over-acted and got back up, he called for the time keeper to ring the bell. Buffalo was choking Carnifex at this point, but let go after he realized he had been disqaulified.

Winner-Carnifex (43% O.R.)

-----

"The Intruder" Justin Sane [versus] Tim Westybrook

Another brawling match pretty much, except Sane did show us how he got his name. After some...brawling, Westybrook missed a crossbody when Sane ducked and he hit the mat and rolled to the outside. Sane ran to the opposite ropes as Westy got back to his feet and he came running to the ropes where Westy was near. Sane jumped onto the top rope, jumped off into a shooting star press, and nailed a lariat to Westy! That was by far the move of the match. A little after that Sane was able to nail the Insane Legdrop for the win.

Winner-Justin Sane (53% O.R.)

-----

Joey Minnesota [versus] "The Intruder" Adam Pearce

A match that saw the supposed head wrestler of NYCW squaring off against The Intruder's head wrestler. The good thing is that both their styles actually worked very well together. The match went on longer than any other match in the night and it was a pretty even match through out. The end is the only real place that one had a huge advantage over the other. And that was when Pearce thought he had Minnesota down and out with a Scrap Iron Kick and decided to taunt the fans. He spent too much time with them and Minnesota got back to his feet, school boyed Pearce and grabbed a huge handful of tights to get the pinfall. Minnesota hurried out of the ring, grabbed his title and made it into the crowd as The Intruders poured out from the back.

Winner-Joey Minnesota (56% O.R.)

SEPTEMBER NEWS-FIRST WEEK

The final week of August, and quite a bit of interesting news. To start off with, for those that either read the results for or were at the NYCW Featured Attraction event last Wednesday, you may have read/seen the ending of the Mauler/Threat match end strangely with Mauler hitting his finisher, getting a two count, and Threat getting up quickly to low blow Mauler for a DQ. This was NOT the original ending. The original ending was supposed to be just Mauler getting a clean win over Threat, but Mauler has been acting up in the back, not showing up to go over matches and disrespecting the staff members, and Threat was told if Mauler acted up in the ring to just end the match with a low blow. Mauler's no selling and not allowing Threat to hit the Dreamkiller DDT was what caused the match to end. After the event Mauler was also fined for his actions. Many believe that Mauler wasn't happy about all these new guys coming in, trying to take the veterans spot, as it is apparant that Vadnais wants to bring in new, younger talent and try to push the veterans out of the picture if he is able to, which hasn't happened yet. This is actually a good sign that new management won't accept any bullshit from anyone, and if they do then they will be punished, both in the ring and in the back. NYCW management has also told the wrestlers that if they have something they want to do before their match to let loose and relax in the locker room, whether it is read a book, play video games, or take a quick nap, that they can as long as it is in reason. Something that was directed only to the lighter guys was that they should try not to go all out in the ring, but to do so if the crowd starts dying. This news was made after the WWE told the cruiserweights not to do moves such as the SSP and 450 and that playing games wouldn't be allowed any more.

WWE's Smackdown! tapings from the first of September pulled in a 6.2 rating, with an audience of between 10,000 and 10,100. The RAW that following week pulled in only a 6.0. Three wrestlers have announced either on their websites or in an interview that they would retire by the end of September. Hulk Hogan, Duke Droese, and UK Dragon. Droese retiring is a blessing, but Hogan's retirement came to a shock to WWE because they have been talking about bringing Hogan in "one last time" either for Survivor Series or WrestleMania. They might bring him in before then to put a younger star over in a Retirement Match, thus giving him a reason to leave the ring for good. In other WWE news, the Sunday night show Heat has been promoted to 8 o'clock. Whether it will run until 9 or all the way to 10 is unknown, but WWE has gotten Spike to agree to pushing Heat more so that more of the lower RAW stars could get TV time. The only question is if they will do the same with Velocity.

HGC got a 5.7 for Friday Night Live!, while SWF got a 5.6 for Supreme Assault TV. Although it isn't too much better, HGC still did better than SWF last week. SWF went on a small signing spree last week as well. They signed Mikey Whipwreck, Dan Henderson, Chris Sabin, Mick Foley, Al Snow, Konnan, and Ernest Miller. Whipwreck is supposed to just be brought in as a jobber for the middle guys, so those who wanted to see him in a big promotion, don't even bother watching to see him. Ernest Miller is also supposed to be returning to his "The Cat" role and be an active wrestler again. Foley is a surprising signing since he was in talks with both WWE and TNA. Foley decided to go with SWF as a new opportunity with an equally big promotion as WWE. In addition, SWF have signed Michael Hayes and Stone Maniac to their staff.

TNA recieved a 2.7 for Impact Friday afternoon, but it looks as if Impact! won't be on the air much longer. It is reported FSN isn't as happy with the ratings as they want to be and are thinking of pulling the plug or airing Impact! until the contract runs up. In good news, TNA have been able to sign Evan Tanner and Bryan Danielson. Danielson, who was previously working with ROH, decided to leave the company to make more money with TNA...Isn't that like an oxymoron? Making MORE money in TNA? Oh well. ROH fans are upset about this news and chanted "Sell Out" to Danielson the last event. Nothing new with ROH fans, though. One week a wrestler is the best then the next he sucks because he leaves. In OLLIE news, the only news for them, they got a 2.9 for Viva OLLIE.

NOTBW have signed indy star Christian York to a written deal. They were also trying to get Joey Matthews, but negotiations fell through and Matthews signed with someone else. In bigger news for them, last week NOTBW's Monday Main Event was upped to a prime time slot, going basically head to head with the first hour of RAW (the new time for MME is 8-10). After doing so, their Monday Main Event broadcast got a 4.8

MPWF have a show on Sundays now. The show, which is on the Playboy Channel, airs at 2 AM and is called "MPWF Sunday". Their first broadcast got a 1.6 rating. SW's recent show was attended by 64 and they continue to fall to the ground.

now we go onto the shitloads of signings and stuff so bare with me as it will get messy. Austin Aries, CIMA, Joey Matthews, and Dragon Kid have decided to work for 3XW, one of which is the only one to not choose them over another company. 4C has signed former RAW announcer Jerry Lawler. They are thinking of having him do a few matches and then possible becoming an announcer for them. They also signed Semmy Schilt, Ryan Gracie, and Psychosis. VZW and Mike Barton, Jeremy Horn (turning down 4C), Heath Herring, and Mike "Calgary Assasin" have agreed to open deals. Barton will most likely be showing up with a wrestling sucks type angle and prove that boxing is better, playing off of his Brawl For All win in the WWF a few years back. Harley Lewis, The Messiah, BJ Penn, and Murilo Ninja Rua have all signed with WIL And to finish this section off, Joey Matthews has also agreed to work for UXW, Shinjiro Otani is now working with FIP. and Tara Hike has chosen to work for MPWF over VZW.

PRIDE has released the list of workers that will be touring with them and the dates they will be working. The following workers will be touring with PRIDE on January 8/9 of 2006, March 14/15 of 2006, May 1/2 of 2006, and July 28/29 of 2006-
