Wrestling Challenge

Owen Hart Vs. Al Snow

Real good match here while the fans were kind of into it and sometimes they weren't, but, these two still put on a good match. It ends with Owen nailing the Flying Bodypress for the pin.

Post-Match: British Bulldog comes down and goes right after Owen nailing him with some hard right hands and Owen quickly rolls out of the ring as Bulldog watches him.

Jerry Lynn Vs. Rey Misterio Jr.

Great match here but the fans yet again weren't getting into it, but, on any count, Rey ends it with a Flying Rana and makes the cover and gets the 3.

Post-Match: Rey offers a handshake to Lynn and it's accepted but Lynn then nails Misterio with a hard Clothesline taking down Rey and Lynn leaves with a cocky smirk on his face.

MQ: 97%

CR: 49%

OR: 73%

Shawn Michaels Vs. Ultimo Dragon

This match was just awesome, but again the fans weren't getting into it, it ends after Jannetty comes running down and nails Dragon with a Rocker Dropper and Michaels makes the cover for the three count.

Post-Match: Jannetty starts celebrating with Michaels but Shawn hits Marty with the Rocker Dropper!

MQ: 100%

CR: 46%

OR: 73%

"Macho Man" Randy Savage Vs. Texas Tornado

Excellent match and the fans were pretty into it, the most they've been all night and it ends after Mr. Perfect comes down and nails Savage right in the face and Texas Tornado makes the roll-up and gets the three count for the win.

Post-Match: While Texas Tornado celebrates, Mr. Perfect comes in and starts to hammer away on Savage, then, for some reason, Texas Tornado nails Mr. Perfect for the save on Savage and Mr. Perfect leaves in a hurry as Texas Tornado helps Savage to his feet.

We come back from a commercial break and we see Mr. Perfect with Mean Gene and Mr. Perfect starts verbally assaulting Texas Tornado for saving Randy Savage earlier tonight while he was getting ready to beat him to a pulp.

The Thrillseekers Vs. Chris Benoit & Biff Wellington

A near perfect match, but, again the fans weren't into this great tag team bout. It ends with Lance Storm nailing Wild Pegasus with a Superkick and making the cover for the three count.

MQ: 96%

CR: 48%

OR: 72%

Rowdy Roddy Piper Vs. Jake "The Snake" Roberts

Boring Match. Crowd was very bored with this main event match, which wasn't much of a main event. It ends after Bret Hart takes down Roberts and Piper quickly makes the cover for the three count.

Post-Match: Bret gets a microphone and simply says: 'I accept!' Therefore the challenge for Saturday Night Main Event is accepted.

MQ: 61%

CR: 46%

OR: 53%

Overall Show Rating: 67%

Not a bad show really just need to get the fans more into it and our quality will shoot up considerably.

Ratings:

SMW got 419 in attendance for their show 'Wave of Mutilation' which was a large event.

GWF TV got a .75 rating for their show.

USWA TV got a .49 rating for the show.

WCW Main Event got a 2.12 rating for their Prime Time show.

While we got a 4.15 for Wrestling Challenge, so, we're still on top, while WCW went head to head with us and we won as they went down to 5% popularity on the global level.

Meanwhile, I am giving Rey Misterio Jr. a push up the card.

WWF News

No hirings to mention as of this news brief.

At this point, I plan to give Rey Misterio a nice push up the card, and Wild Pegasus, maybe give him a shot at the IC Title in the next few weeks.

As for Prime Time Wrestling, one match to make note of will be Mr. Perfect Vs. Texas Tornado, as Mr. Perfect trys to get some revenge on Texas Tornado, but, Randy Savage has said he will be in the corner of the Tornado, how will that work out?

Another match to make note of will be British Bulldog taking on Owen Hart, Bulldog still wants to take out Owen even after defeating him at the Royal Rumble, and Bulldog will get his chance on Prime Time Wrestling.

Confirmed Matches

Mr. Perfect Vs. Texas Tornado

British Bulldog Vs. Owen Hart

Great match and great crowd involvement as well. It ends great as Texas Tornado hits a Flying Crossbody on Mr. Perfect and picks up the three count.

My thoughts: Great show, good matches, need more crowd involvement though. But, as these guys get more over the fans will start to get into their matches more. SNME draws closer and more feuds are starting to get bigger and better.

Post-Show news

Nothing big to report, except the ratings and that Lion Heart and Lance Storm are now Lower Midcarders.

SMW got a .36 for Main Event TV

We got a 5.86 for Prime Time Wrestling

Still on top so I'm happy, and a good show makes me even happier.

WWF News

First of all, let me say that WCW got a .03 rating for their show World Wide Wrestling, highest ever for that show.

But, now for Superstars. On Prime Time Wrestling, we saw, Wild Pegasus and Biff Wellington beat down The Thrillseekers after the Thrillseekers cleanly won the tag team match. This week, The Thrillseekers take on the Orient Express while Pegasus and Wellington take on Money Inc.

Also, we saw Sid Justice defeat Chris Walker, but, without an Undertaker interference this time. This time, the deadman will face Chris Walker, will we see an appearance from Sid?

Also, Randy Savage brutally beat down Mr. Perfect after his match with Texas Tornado. This week, we will see Randy Savage and Texas Tornado team up to go against Mr. Perfect and "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair in the Superstars main event.

Superstars

Rey Misterio Jr. Vs. Jerry Lynn

Excellent Match here, and a good crowd reaction to the match as well. The match ends after Ultimo Dragon comes running in and takes out Misterio with a Dragon Sleeper and then Lynn quickly makes the cover and get the victory after the referee comes back in to the ring unknowing what happened.

Post-Match: Rey stars to slowly get up and Ultimo quickly locks in yet another Dragon Sleeper and knocks out Misterio again.

Backstage. We see Paul Bearer and the Undertaker. Paul speaks about Sid, speaking for Undertaker. Then, Undertaker follows with the little Rest....In....Peace action and then the eye roll and we're done with that.

The Thrillseekers Vs. The Orient Express

Another excellent match, just gotta have more crowd involvement in these matches. Lance Storm ends it with a Super Kick to Kato and makes the cover for the 1..2..3.

Wild Pegasus & Biff Wellington Vs. Money Inc.

Good match here, with some good crowd involvement. Wild Pegasus ends it with a Swandive Headbutt off the top rope and then makes the cover as Biff stops IRS from coming in and Pegasus makes the cover on DiBiase for the 3 count.

The Undertaker Vs. Chris Walker

Boring Match and the fans showed it. The Undertaker quickly ended it, in about one minute with a Choke Slam and a Tombstone and made the cover for the three count.

Post-Match: Sid comes from out of nowhere and lays the Undertaker out with a Powerbomb and the Undertaker lay in the ring for about fifteen seconds as Sid looks on from outside and Taker sits up and Sid takes off running.

Piper's Pit

Tonight in Piper's Pit. The World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Champions. Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannetty. Marty continuously asks Shawn why he has been attacking him over the past few weeks, but, Shawn just changes the subject each time, and Piper continuously asks Shawn the same question. Finally, Shawn has had enough and delivers a Super Kick to Marty Jannetty and lays him out, but, is unsuccessful with Piper and Piper lays out Shawn with a Cradle Piledriver.

70%

Ultimate Warrior Vs. The Dynamite Kid

Crap Match. I'm just glad this wasn't the main event. Dynamite Kid ended it after hitting the Warrior with a Diving Headbutt off the top rope and then covered for the 1..2..3.

Post-Match: Ultimate Warrior starts to leave, but, The Mountie comes rushing and nails Warrior from behind and starts to brawl with him, but, it's not enough as Warrior quickly battles back and lays out The Mountie with a Crossbody.

Main Event Tag Team Match

"Macho Man" Randy Savage & Texas Tornado Vs. Mr. Perfect & "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair

This was an awesome main event and the fans were really into it. Mr. Perfect and Flair win it after Mr. Perfect rolls up Texas Tornado and then gets his feet on the ropes for leverage and the referee doesn't see it and counts the three and Mr. Perfect cheats his way to victory.

Post-Match: Mr. Perfect and Flair beat down Randy and Texas Tornado and the show ends.

MQ: 92%

CR: 87%

OR: 89%

Overall Show Rating: 75%

My thoughts: Great Show. Enjoyed it for the most part, a couple of matches I could've done without, but, the Piper's Pit segment was good and the main event was done very well.

Post-Show News: Rey Misterio is getting a push to the Midcard level and is getting slapped with the gimmick of Highlight Reel for now and Ultimo Dragon is getting a gimmick as well, just not a push yet. Lion Heart and Lance Storm also are getting to the midcard stage as they're really starting to impress us backstage with their matches.

Ratings:

WCW got a 3.21 rating for Saturday Night.

We got a 3.28 rating for Superstars.

WCW still hasn't beaten us in ratings yet to my knowledge.

Also a quick OOC note: I would really appreaciate it if you guys who read this would leave feedback on shows and make predictions for the major shows and sometimes for the weekly shows as well. I love reading the feedback, just I don't say it sometimes, but, for those who have left feedback thanks and get your predictions up. An updated SNME card will be up on February 1st, EWR time that is, which will probably turn out to be later today or tomorrow.

Backstage: Bret Hart is back there with Mene Gene and he starts to go after Jake Roberts after a few weeks of a so-to-speak cold war with the two, but, now it looks like things are starting to heat up again as Bret goes after Roberts.

"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair Vs. Jerry "The King" Lawler

This match was awesome. King and Flair went at it for a solid twenty minutes at least and gave it everything they had and the fans loved every minute of it. Flair wins it after the King is forced to submit to the Figure Four.

Post-Match: Texas Tornado comes rushing down to the ring and starts to go to work on Flair, getting revenge for Flair's attack earlier in the night, Tornado beats down Flair and then leaves, much to the pleasure of the fans.

Rowdy Roddy Piper Vs. Sgt. Slaughter

This match really brought down the show a lot, it broke what was on the verge to be a historic night. But, in any case, the Hot Rod wins it after locking in a Sleeper and putting Sarge to sleep.

Post-Match: Hulk Hogan makes a rampage to the ring and the "Hot Rod" quickly takes off and Hogan taunts Piper in the ring.

My Thoughts: Very good show, Ultimo Dragon Vs. Jerry Lynn was the match of the night, in my view and should've been the main event. All of the matches were good, but, the main event really hurt the show, but, that's my fault. Next time, it wont be the case.

Superstars

Al Snow Vs. Lightning Kid

This match was really good, but, the fans didn't get into it all that much. The ending saw Lightning Kid get in the Lightning Kick after slipping out of the Snow Plow and then getting the three count picking up the win.

Post-Match: Lightning Kid continues stomping away on Al Snow and keeping Al down and then leaves the ring as the referee attends to Al quickly and Lightning Kid looks on happily.

Jerry "The King" Lawler Vs. British Bulldog

This match was simply amazing. I never expected that these two guys could put on a match together like this, no words can explain how great this match was and how much the fans realized it, the vast majority was into the match the whole time, it ends after Jerry kicks out of a DDT then gets the upperhand and ends it with a Piledriver and gets a three count.

Then, we see Jack Tunney, the President of the World Wrestling Federation backstage and he announces that at Saturday Night Main Event we will see three of the biggest up-and-coming superstars go at it in a Triple Threat Match where the winner will get a shot for the WWF Intercontinental Championship at some point in the future, he then announces the three superstars are Rey Misterio Jr., Ultimo Dragon and Jerry Lynn.

Mr. Perfect Vs. Texas Tornado

This was another awesome match, which saw a lot of back and fourth action and a lot of fan action in it as well, with the majority of them standing and cheering for most of the match. It ends with Texas Tornado hitting the Flying Crossbody and then makes the cover for the three count.

Post-Match: Ric Flair comes running down and attacks Texas Tornado, and then takes him down and locks him in the Figure Four until Texas Tornado taps out in pain and Flair lets go of the hold and stands over Texas Tornado and celebrates.

Backstage: Texas Tornado has a microphone and talks about how many times Ric Flair has tried to take him out and then challenges Flair to a match at Saturday Night Main Event.

Rowdy Roddy Piper Vs. Brooklyn Brawler

This was a very bland match without much fan participation at all, it ended after Piper knocked out Brawler with a sleeper for the win.

Post-Match: Hulk Hogan comes shooting down to the ring and goes to work on Piper and the two start battling it out before Hogan gets the advantage and Clotheslines Piper over the top rope and Piper lands on the floor as Hogan celebrates.

The Rockers Vs. Wild Pegasus and Biff Wellington

This match was used as a warm-up for Saturday Night Main Event for The Rockers and I'm starting to believe that Pegasus and Wellington should be facing them instead. These two teams went at it back and fourth and the fans loved it, the Rockers finally ended it after about 20 minutes with a Double Flying Fist Drop on Wellington and Shawn Michaels made the cover and got the three count.

Post-Match: Benoit walked away from the ring while Wellington brought himself together and The Rockers celebrated with the fans, and Benoit turned and looked at Wellington and then just went backstage.

Bret "Hitman" Hart Vs. "Nature Boy" Ric Flair

Another freakin' awesome match, on this PPV-like night. Bret and Ric went at it toe to toe for a good 25-30 minutes in the longest bout of the night, but, the fans didn't care because they simply loved it. It ends after Jake Roberts trips up Bret and Bret turns and tries to pull his hair, but, Flair quickly rolls him up and gets the three count!

Post-Match: Roberts and Flair started to be on Hart, then, the tides switched as Texas Tornado came jogging down to the ring, slightly limping after the Figure Four earlier in the night and made things even and then Flair and Roberts high-tailed it out of the ring and Texas Tornado helped up Bret.

Overall Show Rating: 76%

My thoughts: What an awesome night, full of simply amazing matches, Piper Vs. Brawler should've been left out, but, the SNME card is now complete and it will be up here very quickly, and just a reminder, the winner of the prediction contest for SNME will get to help me book the feud for the Intercontinental Championship.
