8-6? Hockey games are not meant to have that many goals!

By promise of more scoring I thought they meant something like 3-2 games would be normal and a 5-4 would be a high scoring game. If 6 goals become the norm I will be pissed.

I think Pittsburgh is a way better place for a young player to be in. Mario, Leclair, Recchi are all guys capable of scoring and they should be able to show Crosby alot. Ovechkin is an absolute bitch...in NHL 06. He always scores that bastard! Ovechkin has to carry a team, him and Olaf Kolzig who I think is the most unlucky goaltender coming out of the lockout. His team really hasn't added anyone to help him out!

My vote for Stanley Cup winners - MONTREAL, bitches.

I think the Leafs are better of this year then last year. Lindros and Allison both add some true grit and scoring ability at the same time, while the defence still looks good. The only question to me is if Belfour's back will stay strong.

If my NHL 2K6 franchises are any indication, Markus Naslund will be on pace to score about 479 goals, Wade Belak should be a point per game player, and Zdeno Chara will injure at least 164 people in the course of the year.
