Disc Doctor.

Alright, a friend gave me a disc doctor to hopefully fix my broken GTA San Andreas game, however what he said and what the instructions say are totally different. And I am not sure what to do. He said to spin the Disc Soctor really fast and that I'd have to do it for a while. The booklet says:

3. Turn crank handle until disc makes one complete revolution in a counter-clockwise direction.

4. Flip reversibility switch to the left, respray disc and turn handle until disc makes one complete clockwise revolution.

And that's the last mention of turning.

I'd say go with the official instructions as after all, the manufacturers designed and made it.

Trust what the manufacurers say...Unless it's in very badly translated Japanese (like my dancemat's instructions)

Well, the thing I had didn't even HAVE a switch so I just listened to the instructions of the guys who gave it to me. It didn't work on one game, but it worked on my GTA: San Andreas and for that, I am eternally thankful.
