How Do You Clean A PS2?

My PS2 has been giving me a lot of disc read errors recently and I'm thinking, the disc drive needs a cleaning. Anyone tell me how I can go about doing it? Hopefully without taking the thing apart?

There's an article about how to do it yourself. It is insanely easy. Unless you are talking about the NEW PS2s....don't know about those.

But PLEASE be careful, I broke my last PS2 trying to clean it for myself (it was like the third time I had cleaned it, I don't know what had to go wrong, but it did)

Or you could just send it to Sony and they will fix it for free.
