The controversial ending of the Bret Hart-Yokozuna match from Wrestlemania 9, from Narcissist to Lex Express in a matter of months, Mr. Perfect defeating Ric Flair in a loser leaves town match, Tatanka’s undefeated streak, Giant Gonzalez appearance at the Royal Rumble, Razor Ramon going from hated heel to beloved face, The Undertaker’s comeback after Giant Gonzalez put an ether rag to his face, Shawn Michaels finally facing Marty Jannety, Bret Hart winning the King of The Ring only to be jumped by Jerry Lawler, Hulkamania finally leaving the WWF, 1-2-3 Kid upsetting various wrestlers, The Luger hip-lock on Yokozuna, Two Doink’s at Wrestlemania 9, Randy Savage being faded out of the wrestling picture, The debut of Mr. Boomer Sooner himself, Jim Ross, Bob Backlund coming back at 43 years of age and lasting an hour and two minutes in the Royal Rumble, The seeds of Owen Hart turning on Bret were planted and Razor Ramon becoming Intercontinental Champion were just some of the things that happened in the WWF in 1993. I don’t have an elaborate back story, sorry I couldn’t think of anything. I will start of with the WWF in August of 1993. A brief review of the period, Lex Luger was traveling all across the country in the Lex Express, he was on a Summerslam collision course with WWF Champion Yokozuna. Reigning King of the Ring Bret Hart was feuding with Jerry The King Lawler to determine the true king of the WWF. WWF Intercontinental Champion Shawn Michaels was in a feud with Mr. Perfect in a battle of two of the best Intercontinental Champions in history. Tatanka was still undefeated and the feud between The Undertaker and Giant Gonzalez was nearing its end.

Guest Mr. Potato Head

I'll wish you good luck...I recall your 1991 diary, and seem to remember having a hand in inspiring you to do it, so it only makes sense you'd try 93. Long as you don't travel back in time and start up a dirtsheet with Bruce Hart, I'll be reading.

Shawn Michaels© vs Mr. Perfect

Michaels is tomorrow's news, so push him well. Even if it is over Curt Hennig.

WWF Tag Team Title Match

The Steiner Brothers© vs The Heavenly Bodies

The Bodies getting it would only be great if it were the Lane/Pritchard variety. Well, Pritchard/Ray would be cool too, but not over the Steiners.

Rest In Peace Match

The Undertaker vs Giant Gonzalez

Kill Gonzalez before it spreads.

WWF Intercontinental Title Number One Contender Tournament Semi-Final

"The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase vs Razor Ramon

Dibiase would rule, but Ramon is getting the win here.

The 1-2-3 Kid vs Rick "The Model" Martel

Pretty good work thus far man. I was a big fan of your '91 diary, And lets hope this one goes as long as that one went. I'm enjoying the shows and you got things down well. There are a few minor mishaps, As Duggan was out of the WWF by August, Crush was written out of storylines after getting beat down by Yokozuna, Owen Hart was still injured. Anyways, I hope you push guys like HBK, The Undertaker, Razor, Diesel, Martel and Crush. Here's my SummerSlam predictions.

The Main Event

WWF Title Match

Yokozuna© vs Lex Luger

I'm hoping Luger wins so he can hold the belt till like the Survivor Series, And then the next champion can hold it until Wrestlemania. I just don't see either one of these guys making good long term champions. The Luger era will start here but it will not end well, As Luger's overness will probably plomet straight to hell.

King vs King

Bret "The Hitman" Hart vs Jerry "The King" Lawler

I'd like to see Lawler get the win here. I think he'd make a good challenger against Luger. But I just see Hart scoring the win over Lawler.

WWF Intercontinental Title Match

Shawn Michaels© vs Mr. Perfect

HBK is the next big thing, No reason for him to drop the title to Perfect.

WWF Tag Team Title Match

The Steiner Brothers© vs The Heavenly Bodies

The Steiner's won't lose in their home state. Besides, The bodies haven't really gotten a proper push to be tag team champions.

Rest In Peace Match

The Undertaker vs Giant Gonzalez

Undertaker will bury Gonzales here and then hopefully move onto challenging for the WWF Championship.

WWF Intercontinental Title Number One Contender Tournament Semi-Final

"The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase vs Razor Ramon

I just don't see the over forty year old DiBiase beating Razor. Besides, It'll set up a nice Martel/Ramon match in the final round. Plus, Razor is just getting bigger and bigger in the eyes of the fans. No need for him to lose to DiBiase.

WWF Intercontinental Title Number One Contender Tournament Semi-Final

The 1-2-3 Kid vs Rick "The Model" Martel

If Kid wins against all odds all the time, It'll get old real fast. Plus, Razor needs a heel to face in the finals.

8-Man Tag Match

"Macho Man" Randy Savage, Tatanka, & High Energy vs IRS, Bam Bam Bigelow & The Headshrinkers

Just cause Tatanka is undefeated and Savage is making his PPV return.

Singles Match

Marty Jannety vs Ludvig Borga

Borga's a hoss and in Vince's mind, A perfect candidate to be the WWF Champion in the future. No way is he losing to Jannetty.

Singles Match

Jeff Jarrett vs Tito Santana

I actually liked Double J during his country singer era and hope you push him well. Since this is his big debut, He's winning it.

Singles Match

Bob Backlund vs Diesel

Diesel is God, Backlund is getting up there in age and should not beat a big hoss like Big Daddy Cool.

Tag Team Match

The Quebecers vs The Smoking Gunns

So you can have a strong heel team to challenge the Steiner Brothers.

SummerSlam was a good show. I was shocked at seeing Yokozuna retaining the title. I just hope this doesn't lead to a whole huge journey for Luger trying to get back the title, Only to fail. (like in real life.) I do like The Undertaker being put into the title picture. I'm hoping the deadman wins the title. Though, I don't see him heading into Wrestlemania as champ, As I feel Hart is winning the Rumble and then taking the strap at Mania. I actually like the Borga/Luger feud, As it's something McMahon would have a huge hard on for. The possible Savage/Martel and Hart/DiBiase feuds look promising too. Hopefully, Savage goes down to the model. I also can't wait for HBK and Razor to tear things down. Keep up the good work (Y)
