Problem with Photoshop

Recommended Posts

My Adobe Photoshop will not allow me to use my brushes with color, if I create a new transparent layer everything only shows up in black, even though I have it in RGB mode.. I don't know if I messed up a pre-set. If anyone can help me, let me know.

sounds weird . if you've checked to make sure you're in rgb mode , then the only thing I can suggest is to make sure you are not brushing on a channel instead fo a layer . I don't think messing with the presets could do it either .

if all else fails try closing photoshop and restarting

or better yet try a different brush set. if it still black then something els is wrong

try this real quick

start Photoshop or ImageReady and, as it starts, hold down Control+Alt+Shift (Windows) and then click Yes to the prompt "Delete the Adobe Photoshop Settings file?"

hmm I dunno what caused that . usually most problems are caused by prefs file being messed up and usually trashing those works. good to see you got it working though
