The Hemme one is too big. I think if you made the graphic end right around the neck/shoulder area of the second cut of Hemme, it'd look much better.

For the Hemme one, I'd scrap the cut on the right, get some better text and (as Spanky said) make it smaller. I'd also get rid of/change the "Lex Luther" text in the top left. If you're going to do that, use a proper pixel font.

The text is equally bad in the second one. I suggest you stop using the gaussian blur-hard light glow effect and try something else. Text doesn't have to be complex.
