WWE 2003 - After Wrestlemania XIX

Recommended Posts

Okay this is a diary starting the night after Wrestlemania XIX. In my opinion this is where the WWE started to go downhill, so I hope to put it right. I'm aware that suck at keeping with diaries, but have decided on a recap format as I usually get bored writing matches and promos in full because I have a bad habit of repeating myself. This ones for keeps. On a side note, the RAW after WM was still in March, the game starts on the 1st April, so I've written the first show from scratch and based it loosely on the actual show that took place. Heres some WM results for those of you with bad memories.

Fallout From Wrestlemania XIX

The night after Wrestlemania is always an exciting one. After a video played at 'Mania announcing that Goldberg has come to the WWE, you have to expect one hell of a RAW.

Triple H defended his World Title from Booker T, will Booker have anything to say about this? Will Chris Jericho have any words for HBK who he was so determined to beat but didn't? And how will The Rock celebrate after finally defeating Stone Cold Steve Austin at Wrestlemania?

Rock... YOU'RE NEXT!

The night after Wrestlemania XIX was huge. Possibly the biggest debut of the century happened when Goldberg himself appeared and made a huge statement. It was supposed to be The Rock's night. He held a 'Rock Aprecciation night', but things didn't quite go as the great one planned. The Rock said that now he had beaten Stone Cold Steve Austin at Wrestlemania there was nothing left for him to do and no one left for him to beat, his wrestling career was over! He was soon proven wrong when the music of Goldberg played totally shocking The Rock much to the crowds delight. Goldberg got into the ring, him and The Rock then paced around the ring circling each other when Goldberg, a man of few words, Speared The Rock! Goldberg picked up The Rock's microphone and bluntly told him "YOU'RE NEXT!"

To kick off the night RAW GM Eric Bischoff came down to the rings with a few things on his mind. He first of all announced that in four weeks we would see the first ever RAW only Pay Per View.. Backlash! He then turned his attentions to Stone Cold Steve Austin. He said that tonight would be Austins last night. Bischoff said that Austin couldn't even win at Wrestlemania, he was getting old and he is far from sane. Bischoff said that Austin was a danger to himself and everyone around him, he has no choice but to fire him! This prompted the Texas Rattlesnake to come down to the ring. Austin said that Bischoff is just a coward and he's scared of him. Bischoff said it didn't matter because one way or another Austin is FIRED! Austin went to attack Bischoff, but Eric told him to stop, and that since he doesn't work here anymore if he layed a finger on him he'd have him arrested! Austin stopped for a moment, then gave Bischoff the finger! Bischoff called for security guards to escort Austin away when Linda McMahon came out! She said that while she can't stop Bischoff firing Austin, she can re-hire him! She said he won't be re-hired as a superstar though, it'll be as the Co-General Manager! Austin couldn't believe his luck and neither could Bischoff, Austin sealed the deal with another finger to Bischoff followed by a Stone Cold Stunner!

Chris Jericho came to the ring and challenged Shawn Michaels to a Wrestlemania re-match next week. HBK came out and excepted the challenge and said he'd be happy to beat Jericho again! He rubbed in the fact that he beat Jericho the night before, and Jericho who was obviously still having problems with his loss, responded by attacking HBK. Booker T ran down to the ring to make the save, which then prompted the World Heavyweight Champion Triple H along with Ric Flair to come down and even the odds. An all out brawl broke out which was put to a stop by Stone Cold Steve Austin who made his first act as Co-GM. He made a tag team match pitting HBK/Booker T against Triple H/Jericho. During the match HBK and Jericho, neither of which were the legal man began brawling on the outside which led to the fight continuing backstage. In the ring Booker T seemed to be against the odds with Triple H and Flair on the outside. But the Booker man reedemed his Wrestlemania loss. Attempted interference from Ric Flair resulted in a Book End for the Nature Boy, followed shortly by a Scissors Kick to Triple H for the upset victory. After the match, Booker T picked up H's title belt and held it up signifying that he was still in the title hunt. The backstage fight between HBK and Jericho was not over though, Jericho slammed Michael's head against a wooden crate before running away. However Jericho's escape turned out to be a trap as Michael's ran right into a chair to the face from Jericho's buddy Christian who was hiding around a corner. With Michael's knocked out on the floor Jericho kicked him and told him "Take that you son of a bitch, I'll see you next week!"

Stone Cold being half in charge inspired a lot of people, notably the Dudley Boyz. The Dudleyz had been reluctantly sucking up to Eric Bischoff in the last few weeks in order to keep their jobs, but no more. A 3 team elimination tag match pitting champions Chief Morley and Lance Storm against The Dudleyz and RVD/Kane, Bubba and D-Von had no trouble getting rid of Morley and Storm. A 3-D to Morley eliminated the champs meaning new champions were guaranteed. But despite their best efforts, the Dudleyz failed to capture the titles when both fell victim to Kane's Chokeslam, followed by the Five Star Frog Splash to Bubba for the win. Their celebration was cut short when Rosey and Jamal, better known as 3 Minute Warning, stormed the ring and decimated the new champions who were already worn down. This came after Rosey destroyed Maven in a match earlier in the night, and Rico made a point of how unacceptable it was that 'his boys' weren't in the title match later on. He said that they were going to do something about it, and thats just what they did.

Jeff Hardy congradulated Trish Stratus on winning the Women's title at Wrestlemania but their celebrations were cut short as an annoyed Eric Bischoff placed Trish in a match against Steven Richards! Victoria tryed getting involved but Trish soon dispatched her with the Chick Kick, Richards looked to take out Trish from behind, but Hardy made the save and gave Richards a jawbreaker then the Swanton Bomb allowing Trish to pin him and get the win!

In other action Scott Steiner beat Christopher Nowinski in less than a minute. A clothesline a belly to belly suplex and the Steiner Recliner was all it took to put Nowinski away. After the match Poppa Pump said it was ridiculous how he challenged for the World Title 2 months in a row yet didn't have a spot at Wrestlemania, he said he's not going to stop until he gets noticed. He did his usual 'Holla if ya hear me' sticht and left leaving the crowd to wonder just what he had planned.

Austin becoming co RAW GM was kinda rushed. They built it up for at least a month before actually doing it in real life.

Other than that, everything else was the same, pretty much.

Yeh I wanted to get it out of the way and not repeat what happened in real life over more than one show, as for the rest I did say I'd be generally keeping to what happened on the same show.

WWE Smackdown!

3rd April 2003

BIG Problems for Hogan

Coming off probably the biggest win of his career, the 20 years in the making Street Fight against Mr McMahon, Hulk Hogan should have had lots to celebrate. This wasn't the case however. The return of Pipers Pit saw Rowdy Roddy Piper interviewing both Hulk Hogan and the furious Mr McMahon! At one point, tension seemed high between both Piper and McMahon, it seemed as if a fight was about to break out between them, when they both turned and assaulted Hulk Hogan! Hogan managed to 'Hulk Up' and fight back, but his luck soon ran out when the giant team of Big Show and A-Train ran to the ring attacking Hogan! Hogan tried his hardest to fight back but soon became a victim of a Chokeslam and the Derailer from the big men. McMahon then finished Hogan off with the same lead pipe Piper had used at Wrestlemania, busting Hogan wide open! Smackdown! went off the air with McMahon, Piper, Big Show and A-Train stood tall over Hogan's battered and bloodied body.

The New WWE Champion Brock Lesnar and the former Champ were both not in the house due to resting injuries from their amazing title match. However Kurt Angle's team mates, the WWE Tag Team Champions, Team Angle, had harsh words for the Champion and their mentor. They said that after what Angle did a WM, not only losing but embracing an enemy, they had lost all respect for him. They challenged Lesnar and Angle to a tag team match the following week. Smackdown! GM Stephanie McMahon came out and said they could have the match, but they would defend their titles right now! Los Guerreros came out to a good reaction and the title match got underway. An amazing match which saw all four men showing their talents, however the ending was not so goo, well not for Los Guerreros. John Cena seemingly for no reason ran into the ring and hit Eddie in the face with his steel chain! Charlie Haas capitalised and scored the pin to retain the titles. John Cena had been on somewhat of a rampage all night! Earlier he had brutally beaten Rikishi in a match, which ended up with Cena getting himself DQ'ed when he hit the big man with his chain. Cena walked away carelessly seeming very frustrated about not getting the chance to be at Wrestlemania!

Common sense would say you shouldn't piss off two big men like Nathan Jones and The Undertaker, thats a lesson the FBI learned the hard way. Nunzio went one on one with young Brian Kendrick and got the win after fellow FBI member Chuck Palumbo superkicked Kendrick. Stamboli also then got in the ring and the Full Blooded Italians proceeded to lay a brutal beating on the young Kendrick when Undertaker and Nathan Jones appeared at the top of the ramp, obviously pissed with Nunzio's actions on Wrestlemania night! The two big men rushed to the ring, Undertaker chokeslammed Palumbo, while Jones gave Stamboli a Spinning Kick. Nunzio dived out of the ring and backed off up the ramp with Taker and Jones staring hard at him. You can bet that this is far from over.

In other action Smackdown! newcomer, Sean O'Haire made a huge impact in his (re) debut match. He defeated the crippler Chris Benoit when Benoit's tag team partner tried to help out, but ended up Goring the rabid wolverine! O'Haire saw his chance, tossed the shocked Rhyno from the ring, and covered Benoit scoring a huge upset!

Rey Mysterio had another chance to prove himself this week, as he teamed up with good friend Billy Kidman and took on WWE Cruiserweight Champion Matt Hardy V1 and MF'er Shannon Moore in a tag team match. Mysterio proved himself pinning Moore after a springboard leg drop, but celebrations were cut short as a frustrated Matt Hardy V1 knocked both Mysterio and Kidman out with his Title belt before grabbing Moore and leaving.

RAW. Rock Goldberg was a nice segment that will set up a nice Backlash match, i just hope Rock beats Goldberg. Austin is similar to real life but really the only path to take with Austin as i'm not sure if he could wrestle anymore at this point full time. Nice brawl segment although i'm not sure why Booker should need to save HBK in a fair fight against Jericho? Seems you have the faces trying to team up and the heels the victims? Odd but a nice set up for the match in it basic form. So Jericho beats the hell outta HBK? Not sure i like that but i guess it not too bad. Booker T looks to be facing Triple H at Backlash too which is not my choice but acceptable i suppose, i just hope he doesn't win. Kane and RVD take the gold which is ok, they make decent champs for now but i'm not a huge fan of two minute warning so i don't like then beating down Kane and RVD particlarly in a fair fight again since Kane and RVD are the strong champions but whatever, it's just a nitpick. Trish stuff is ok, decent filler. Push for Steiner? Blugh but again that's more to do with my taste.

C+ overall. Ok show but not good enough for post Mania.

SMACKDOWN. Oh no, can't you just let Hogan leave with his big win, don't drag this out any longer please! Not having Angle and Lesnar on the show seems bad business since people would tune in for the aftermath and to not see them is a disappoinment so bad move there. Team Lesnar getting some attitude, i like, keep it up. Cena as the ruthless thug is good too, Cena needs his main event push soon, hopefully as a heel. Drop Jones and give Taker something decent too do as soon as you can! Benoit/Rhyno feud is ok which i'm guessing will happen but i'm guessing the smark favorite Sean O Haire is going to get pushed to the moon, well lets see if you can get me interested in him. I loved Matt V1 and good to see him being booked like an asshole, good stuff.

Missing your champions and Hogan carrying on brings this down to a D-. Cena and Matt Hardy save you a little. What waa the main event? You didn't have any top match on the card.

Thanks for the feeback Visionary, theres a couple of things I thought I'd address.

RAW. Rock Goldberg was a nice segment that will set up a nice Backlash match, i just hope Rock beats Goldberg. Austin is similar to real life but really the only path to take with Austin as i'm not sure if he could wrestle anymore at this point full time.

I'm going for realism so yeh Austin won't be wrestling full time. As for Rock/Goldberg, I thought it was a good path to go as it worked in real life.

Seems you have the faces trying to team up and the heels the victims?

I realised this but thought it was the best way to set up the match as Triple H attacking HBK would make less sense IMO. why would the champion go looking for trouble? But he is already 'feuding' with Booker so it was okay for him to run in. Just my opinion mind.

Booker T looks to be facing Triple H at Backlash too which is not my choice but acceptable i suppose,

I thought IRL it was wrong how Booker lost cleanly and then didn't do anything to get his momentum back, wether he wins or not in a future title match he still should be viewed as a main eventer since he just wrestled in a World title match at 'Mania.

i'm not a huge fan of two minute warning so i don't like then beating down Kane and RVD particlarly in a fair fight again since Kane and RVD are the strong champions

RVD and Kane may be strong champions, but the point was that they were tired and worn down after the match, so easy pickings for 3MW.

Oh no, can't you just let Hogan leave with his big win, don't drag this out any longer please! Not having Angle and Lesnar on the show seems bad business since people would tune in for the aftermath and to not see them is a disappoinment so bad move there.

I totally agree with both these things but I have good reasons. I couldn't just be rid of Hogan since he won the WM Streetfight to save his career, it'd be pointless if he just dissapeared. As for Angle/Lesnar I'm going for the realism again since they were pretty bust up in terms of injuries IRL after Mania, and both of them were not at this Smackdown! IRL too.

What waa the main event? You didn't have any top match on the card.

Pipers pit was the main event, simply because it had the most over people in it. Sucks I know, the Tag Title match came before that since it was the highest rated match.

I hope I answered a few things for you there :)

WWE RAW

7th April 2003

Jericho beats the Showstopper.. but not without help.

In an amazing main event which critics rated 91%, Chris Jericho finally beat Shawn Michaels. It wasn't easy though, and the win didn't come without help from Jericho's buddy Christian. HBK looked to have the match won after hitting his top rope elbow followed by the Sweet Chin Music, but just as the referee was about to count 3, Christian pulled him from the ring and knocked him out! Christian got into the ring and attacked Michaels, but it didn't take HBK long to fight Christian off. While HBK was dealing with Christian this gave Jericho time to grab a steel chair and smash HBK over the head with it! Christian revived and tossed the referee back into the ring only for HBK to kick out again! Jericho frustrated tried to apply the Walls Of Jericho, but HBK countered into a small package, before the referee, who was still a bit dosile, could make the count, Christian slid in, turned the pin over putting Jericho in the winning position, and the referee counted the 3! Jericho and Christian left as quickly as they could, but it was obvious from the look on Michael's face that this was far from over.

Booker T was on a roll once again this week as he defeated Triple H's mentor Ric Flair in one on one action. Despite the Game's best efforts to screw his rival, Booker still managed to deliver a Book End to Flair for then win. Evolution weren't about to let Booker just get away with the win though. The World Heavyweight Champ got into the ring and the numbers soon became too much for Booker, when his tag team partner Goldust, who Evolution had mugged and put on the shelf before Mania, sprinted to the ring and helped his partner clear the ring! Booker and Goldust hugged briefly in the ring, while Evolution left looking furious. Later in the night Triple H and Flair complained to Bischoff about what happened, and Co-GM Stone Cold Steve Austin came into the office and informed H that he'd be defending his belt at Backlash in a Wrestlemania re-match, as well as them both facing Booker and Goldust the following week.

Things went from bad to worse for Christopher Nowinski, who lost to Scott Steiner last week. This week he got the oppurtunity to be Goldbergs first victim! Goldberg dispatched Nowinski within seconds after hitting his trademark Spear/Jackhammer combo. After the match The Rock, who had earlier promised he would get revenge on Goldberg for last week, sprinted to the ring and began to stalk Goldberg Rock Bottom style. However before Rock could hit Goldberg with his finisher, Goldberg ran right at the Great One with a spear! Rock managed to be quick on his feet and ducked out of the ring. He backed off up the ramp looking terrified of Goldberg!

Last week Scott Steiner promised he was going to be noticed and he certainly was this week. Early in the night he said that since he came to the WWE one thing was missing.. his 'Freaks' referring to women who find him irresistable. Later in the night he approached WWE Women's Champion Trish Stratus backstage and offered here the privelage of being his first 'Freak!' Trish was less than pleased as she was cleary trying to prepare for her match, Steiner wouldn't take no for an answer until Jeff hardy appeared and warned him off leading to Steiner informing Hardy 'that was the biggest mistake of you're life.' Steiner kept his word as later on when Jeff Hardy and Trish Stratus battled Steven Richards and Victoria in an intergender tag team match, Steiner interjected himself and knocked Hardy out with a lead pipe causing a DQ! Trish confronted Steiner but was attacked from behind by Victoria who was clearly still after the Women's title she lost a week ago. Steiner put Jeff into the Steiner Recliner and held it in for a few minutes while it took a helluva lot of officials to pull Steiner away from him. Steiner finally left leaving Jeff and Trish both motionless in the ring.

The tag team scene on RAW was quite exciting this week as two big matches took place. The NEW World Tag Team Champions Rob Van Dam and Kane defended the titles from the team who left them beat up last week, 3 Minute Warning. However RAW GM Eric Bischoff told Rico, who was the one who convinced Eric to give the title shot, that if 3MW lost tonight, then he would be fired! Anyway, Kane chokeslammed Jamal and the champs retained. After the match Eric Bischoff told Rico he was fired and he had only '3 Minutes' to get out! Which was obviously the cue for the psychotic samoans to beat the crap out of their (former) manager. In other action the Dudley Boyz beat rivals Lance Storm and Chief Morley in a Tables match, after Bubba powerbombed Storm through a table and Morley then got the 3-D through another, allowing the Dudleyz to gain some more retribution for Storm and Morleys actions over the last month.

In other action Test went one on one with a returing Big Bossman. Stacky Keiber accompanied Test and an attepmt at helping him got her knocked out by Test's own Big Boot! Test didn't take it lying down though and gave Bossman another Big Boot which got him the win, afterwards he attended to Stacy who seemed to be in quite bad shape.

A change of plan?

Last week Team Angle challenged Brock Lesnar and their 'estranged' leader Kurt Angle to a tag team match, however as it appears, Angle is not 100% yet and although he will be in attendance he will not be wrestling. Brock Lesnar will face Shelton Benjamin in a singles non title match! In other action Charlie Haas will wrestle Chavo guerrero.

Speaking of Guerrero, last week he and Eddie lost a chance to become WWE Tag Champions when John Cena attacked Eddie. This week, Cena will be a guest on Piper's Pit as he will explain his actions!

Sean O'Haire will face Rey Mysterio, Undertaker will face Johnny Stamboli of the FBI as well as Benoit and Rhyno facing the team that left Hulk Hogan lying bloodied and battered last week, Big Show and A-Train!

Hoping you stick with this one!

On the Smackdown! side, I'm interested in where you might go with Lesnar/Angle-Haas Benjamin. Also liking the idea of a Sean O'Haire push; not so hot on the same for Cena, but I will live. ;)

On RAW, I am all for Booker T not being buried by Triple H. Also glad that you're keeping the Booker/Goldust alliance alive. Steiner/Trish interaction makes perfect sense to me. Dropping Rico from 3MW's act is a good idea, I think.

Smackdown!:

Benoit jobbing to O'Haire makes me a sad panda :(

How about taking out Nathan Jones and having Taker destroy FBI? Or you can have Benoit turn heel to feud with Taker.

Angle/Lesnar taking the night off was realistic IMO.

Cena/Eddie feud should also be pretty good. Keep Cena a heel :)

Not a fan of what you did with Hogan. It's turning out to be a carbon copy of Vince/Shawn.

RAW:

Good to see the Booker push continue. Hopefully, he will get the title from HHH, he was such a title hog in 2003.

Speaking of WHC, Kane needs a reign. Have him turn heel and turn on RVD soon.

I don't see the point of The Big Bossman returning as a jobber.

WWE Smackdown!

10th April 2003

Friends United!

Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle left Wrestlemania with the utmost respect for each other, nothing had changed two weeks later. Earlier in the night Kurt Angle requested that he and Brock have a WWE title re-match next week, Brock obliged but Smackdown! GM had something to say. She said that she wanted to reward the two for putting on such a great Wrestlemania main event and representing the Smackdown! brand so well! She said the re-match would have to wait another week because she had re-booked their tag match against Haas and Benjamin next week, and the WWE Tag titles will be on the line! In the main event non-title match, Brock Lesnar beat Shelton Benjamin with the F-5, despite interference from Charlie Haas, who had earlier cheated to beat Chavo Guerrero in singles action. After the match Kurt Angle ran down to the ring and chased away his former proteges and once again shook hands and hugged his new friend, Brock Lesnar.

The show opened with Piper's Pit. Rowdy Roddy Piper spent the first few minuted boasting about what he, McMahon, Big Show and A-Train had done to Hogan the previous week. Piper soon introduced his guest for the night, John Cena! Cena came to the ring and greeted Piper by calling him a 'Scottish Ho-bag' Piper wasn't pleased but laughed it off and proceeded to interview the rapper. He asked Cena about his actions from the previous week. Cena said he's had enough of taking a backseat to people like Guerrero. He said he used to respect people like Guerrero and thought he had what it takes to make it big. Cena said that Eddie was just stuck in a going nowhere tag team with his midget nephew Chavo. Cena said Eddie only respects his family and not the sport itself anymore, so Cena had taken it upon himself to beat some respect into the 'Latino Loser.' Eddie didn't take long to respond, no cool Low-Rider this week, just Eddie rushing to the ring and breaking out into a brawl with Cena right away! Piper got out of the ring as the two went at it. Eddie didn't take long to beat Cena up, throwing him into the various props of Piper's Pit. Eddie then knocked Cena to the floor with Cena's own steel chain! One 'Viva La Raza' later and John Cena became the victim of a Frogsplash. Eddie left looking satisfied with revenge, leaving the rookie in a heap.

Big Show and A-Train came to the ring and Show got a microphone. He informed evreyone that Mr McMahon won't be around for a while as he has personal matters to attend to. So he has left Show and A-Train to finish of Hulk Hogan.. for good! Big Show said that Hogan wasn't their tonight because he was in hospital after they'd beaten him so badly, Show then challenged Hulk Hogan to a match where Big Show would finish Hogan off once and for all! Out came Benoit and Rhyno for their tag match with the two big men. The match once again ended in tragedy for Benoit and Rhyno as they made a judgment of error and ended up running into each other which allowed Big Show to chokeslam Rhyno and get the win for his team. Benoit left the ring without helping or even waiting for his partner, and he was clearly not happy.

The Undertaker beat the FBI's Johnny Stamboli with a chokeslam despite continuous interference from Chuck Palumbo and Nunzio. After the match Nathan Jones once again made his way out and saved the deadman from a 3 on 1 attack. the giants soon sent the FBI running for a second week in a row.

Young newcomer Sean O'Haire picked up yet another big victory when he beat Rey Mysterio! O'Haire claimed that "If your not O'Haire, then you're not all there" basically saying that everyone who isn't him lacks physically and mentally. However he didn't beat Mysterio without help, as it was a Twist of Fate from the Cruiserweight Champion Matt Hardy V1 that put Mysterio down for the 3 count. Later in the night Mysterio confronted Hardy and demanded a title match. Smackdown! GM Stephanie McMahon came on the scene and said that she would force Matt to defend his title next week because of his recent actions, however since he had aready beaten Rey, Matt could choose his own challenger. Matt left the room with a smirk on his face leaving everyone to wonder, who would he pick?

OOC: Thanks tqwcw and Jaze for the comments, a few things;

How about taking out Nathan Jones and having Taker destroy FBI?

Unfortunatly in the name of realism I can't just magically make Jones dissapear, so he will be around for a short while.

Not a fan of what you did with Hogan. It's turning out to be a carbon copy of Vince/Shawn.

I haven't actually watched RAW properly since January so I wouldn't know, and as you'll see from the above show Vince is off of the scene right now.

I don't see the point of The Big Bossman returning as a jobber.

I needed someone to help fill out the lowercard, and I'd rather have him do it than call up some unknown from OVW who would have their career ruined before it starts :P besides he wasn't going to do anything else.

Oh and tqwcw, I Will be sticking with this.

Pretty decent stuff. I like the way you're going for realism.

I don't, however, really like your formatting. I mean, it works, sure, but I've always preferred there to be some sort of divider or header text to clearly distinguish each segment.

But, again, I assume that's for realism as it's basically WWE.com's format.

Keep it going.

Thanks to Rated-R for your comments. I respect not everyone likes this kind of format, but I find it easier and a lot more fun to write. Glad you like it so far :)

RAW Preview

14th April 2003

A Night For Revenge?

Revenge will be on a lot of peoples minds this week on RAW. Triple H and Ric Flair will be looking to get their own back on Booker T who has made a fool of them a few times over the last couple of weeks. After pinning H in a tag match and then Flair in a singles match, Booker looks ready to face the World Heavyweight Champion at Backlash. This week it'll be Booker T and Goldust against Ric Flair and Triple H!

Last week Chris Jericho finally beat Shawn Michaels, but thanks to Christian. This week HBK has a chance to get even as he goes one on one with Christian!

Speaking of Jericho, he will host the first Highlight Reel since Wrestlemania and his guest will be Goldberg!

Tag team action pitting the Dudley Boyz against 3 Minute Warning, as well as Trish Stratus defending her WWE Womens Title from Victoria who knocked her out last week.

All this and more on RAW!

Regarding my earlier citicism, a little seems to be being a little iniformed of the time peroid so aplogises for that. Often my feedback reflects my personal taste too so something i hate others may like of course. With that on to Raw.

Now that sounds like a main event. Jericho gets the win which is cool but i think perhaps this a PPV match? I assume they will fight at Backlash too? Be interesting to see where you go from here anyway. Booker beats Flair for some nice momemtum but seeing Goldust chase off Evolution is rather amusing, lol. Anyway you have the rematch and a decent match for next week so good booking all in all. Good booking on Rock/Goldberg, making them both look strong and heel Rock is just as great as face Rock anyday! Hardy/Steiner could be good and is a decent midcard feud. I hope it builds Hardy rather than Steiner though as i'm not a huge fan of Steiner but it should be good. Why do i get the feeling Trish is going to go with him in the end though? Bye Rico? Fair enough they don't really need him but having just lost for the Titles where do 3MW go from here? Dudleyz win is cool too, Moley and Storm need to move on i think. Test/Stacy split maybe? Interesting and the Bossman back is cool! 7 matches wow! Is that a record?

Decent Raw, C+.

Angle/Brock rematch should be good and i like WGT being in there but i don't like Angle and Lesnar hugging, respect fine but that's a bit too friendly really. I hope Angle screws Lesnar soon. Eddie/Cena is going well i see but i'm not sure who's going to come out on top. Benoit heel turn is great but against a face Rhyno i'm not sure it'll work? Well lets see if you go that way first. Taker really needs to do something else! O'Haire win is fine i guess and i wonder who Matt will chose?

Decentish Smakdown but nothing too brilliant. C.
