What does everyone think of the band Mae? I dunno how big they are but I can't remember seeing anyone her talk about them before...

I've had both their CDs for a few weeks now and I must say that I'm suitably impressed. I think The Everglow is a cracking CD full of great songs. Destination:Beautiful is brilliant as well but not quite up there with The Everglow.

For those of you that haven't heard any Mae, they're sort of along the lines of Jimmy Eat World, except they're probably a bit softer than JEW.

I had heard Embers & Envelopes...but I just didn't know it. I got hold of some. Quite nice. Kind of like JEW, Braid and The Get Up Kids, therefore they get my love by default.

ive had the everglow for a while

pretty good album, the type of album you can just relax to and drift off.

some of the songs really do need the fat trimmed off though, some songs feel like theyve been on forever.
