July 30th 2006

Today, Sunday July 30th 2006, it has been reported that a "Mystery Buyer" held a meeting today with Vincent Kennedy McMahon, the owner of World Wrestling Entertainment, in regards to purchasing the name and logo of the New World Order (nWo). Rumours have been circulating that the "Mystery Buyer" wants to make the nWo it's own out right wrestling promotion. At around 4pm EST today Mr. McMahon emerged from inside WWE headquarters and said a deal had been reached. However the "Mystery Buyer" was not where to be seen. We managed to get a quick statement from Mr. McMahon which read:

Vince McMahon: Today myself and Mr. X have reached an agreement for the sale of the rights to the name and logo of the New World Order (nWo). The New World Order will go a be its own wrestling promotion. As to the terms of our agreement I am not allowed to divulge the true identity of Mr. X, he shall do this himself when he sees fit. I wish Mr. X and the nWo all of the best in their future endevours.

We also managed to get a statement from a spokes person of Mr. X. It read:

Spokesman: Today marks a new era in the sport of professional wrestling. In the words of Mr. X, the New World Order shall be just that. A New World Order of wrestling. Mr. X shall be hiring staff and wrestlers over the next few weeks and shall make press releases as soon as possible. Mr. X would also like the public to know that he is wanting to work this new federation from the groud up so the nWo shall be starting right at the bottom as a backyard federation. That is all at this time.

We hope to have more news as and when we recieve it.

Couple of things bugged me after I read the backstory.

1) The Mystery Buyer must have a lot of money to "buy" the rights to the nWo tags. Hell, I wonder if that's even possible to do. He says there will be press releases as soon as possible and that the nWo will start as a backyard federation. You do know what a backyard federation is right? In the BACKYARD, with very poor material and like 5, and if you're lucky 15 people watching the show. It's hard to make a profit that way, so Mr.X probably isn't doing this for the money because he bought the rights to the nWo, which would probably cost a lot, and then he starts in his own backyard. But I don't even think you mean a real backyard promotion because if there are press releases and he actually got media exposure by talking to Vince it means the promotion is at least at Small if not already Cult status 'cause a backyard promotion would never do press releases and after the big media exposure they would sure as hell get more than 15 viewers.

2) Why the hell would somebody buy the nWo rights? What is so special about the name that you want your own promotion to be called nWo. It has NOTHING to do with the old nWo so what's the point? "Bring the nWo back to the top of pro wrestling", you do realize the nWo wasn't a promotion, it was a big stable in which wrestlers screwed each other on a weekly basis. Its a stable, its supposed to be different - cutting edge - and it has it's own trademark stuff like the nWo finger-sign and ofcourse the nWo shirt. If this is "bringing back the nWo to the top", then that means the wrestlers will all wear nWo shirts and will all kinda have the same gimmick, where's the fun in that?! Unless you immediately make two or three seperate stables, like nWo Backyard and nWo Wolfpac v2, I guess it could work for a while but it would bore very quickly. You don't really have an option, you HAVE to do something with "nWo".

The story makes no sense and I don't think you can make up for it, but you can at least try. I sincerely hope you prove me wrong by either commenting on my post or by posting a great show which explains Mr.X's actions. So far you could have just called the promotion Xtreme World Order or something without the press releases, so it would be a REAL backyard promotion.

Using the "dont like, dont read" arguement, if you can call it that, is a stupid thing to do. You were given good constructive feedback about what someone thought of the diary and you chose to ignore it and tell people if they dont like the idea of the diary to not read it. You decided to post the diary because you obviously want other people to read it, so you should at least know that if you post something then someone can rip it to shreds.

Most of the time if anyone uses the "So and so bought such and such from Vince McMahon" I stop reading because it is a backstory that, unless done EXTREMELY well by an EXTREMELY great writer, is shit.

Someone buying the nWo rights for a backyard promotion, like the previous poster said if it is an actual backyard promotion in a backyard, really is bad. You have no nWo members on the roster, yet you are using pictures of them, unless you plan on having them debut ont he firstshow or something.

Nothing really promising so far, unless you can write out five star shows then I cant really see this being too good.

The debut show started out with a spokesman for Mr. X addressing the crowd. He started by first thanking all the people in attendance for coming to watch the debut show. He also thanked the fans watching at home on the Aurora Television Network. He also thanked the network for giving the nWo their time slot to showcase their talents and prove to the world it was their time to shine. He then concluded by saying that on behalf of Mr. X and the nWo he wanted everyone to enjoy the show.

Match One

Homeless Jimmy vs Mikey Whiplash

The match got off to a slow start and it was fairly even in the early part of the match. Homeless Jimmy managed to get the upperhand and started to lay into Whiplash with a series of right hands to the head. Homeless also managed to show off some of his ground game and put Whiplash into a Headlock which he eventualy managed to power out of. Whiplash started to gain momentum from here, hitting a lovely Flying Elbow from the top rope. He then went for the cover but it wasn't enough to put Homeless Jimmy away. Shortly after Jimmy managed to hit a Piledriver but it didn't seem to have the full effect it could of and that to led to Whiplash kicking out of a pin attempt. Towards the end of the match Whiplash was in control and Irish whipped Jimmy into the corner. After a series of elbows to the face, Whiplash tried to Splash Jimmy from the opposite corner however it backfired and Whiplash fell to the floor allowing Jimmy to climb the turnbuckle and hit the Homeless Hangover for the win!

Match Two

Buzz Stryker & Guillotine LeGrande vs Kei Sato & Rapid Fire Maldonado

The match started out with Maldonado and LeGrande. At the start it was back and forth with both men hitting several Scoop Slams on each other. After an Irish Whip, LeGrande was hit with a sweet Dropkick that caught his jaw. Maldonando then went for a pin but LeGrande managed to kick out at 2. Maldonado then tagged in Sato and they executed a double Clothesline. LeGrande then walked into a Spinning Heel Kick from Sato. He goes for the cover but yet again LeGrande kicks out. Shorty after LGrabde started to build some momentum over Sato and hit a peachy Stunner type move from the corner. People in the crowd thought Sato might be dead. LeGrande then tagged in Stryker and immedietly Stryker shows off his strengh by putting Sato into a delayed Vertical Suplex. He goes for the cover but only for a quick 2. Sato then tagged out and brouhgt Maldonado back in. Momentum started to move back and forth between Stryker and Maldonado until Stryker is met by a vicious Shining Wizard. Maldonado goes for the cover but Stryker just manages to kick out at about 2 9/10. Stryker then manages to duck a Maldonado Clothesline and hit him with a picture perfect Brainbuster. With his partner out cold, Sato comes in to go after Stryker. He picks up Stryker and goes for a Scoopslam but didn't realise that Maldonado had gotten back to his feet. This lead to Sato hitting Maldonado with the high legs of Stryker. After realising what had happened Sato goes over to tend to his fallen partner, taking the advantage, LeGrande ran in and threw Sato to the outside. This gave Stryker enough time to recover and climb to the top and hit the fallen Maldonado with the Buzzsault and pick up the win.

Next up was an interview with Al-Ahmed Mohammed. He came out to talk about his up and coming match against Honky Tonk Kid. He started saying that he hated America and everything to do with it and that Americans were always holding Muslims like him back. He ended by saying tonight America had better take notice of him because he was going to make an example out of Honky Tonk Kid.

Match Three

Al-Ahmed Mohammed vs Honky Tonk Kid

Many believed that this would be one of the main matches of the night. Mohammed wanted to come out and show Americans what he was all about. The match started with HTK getting the upperhand after a near picture perfect Neckbrecker on Mohammed. Mohammed then walked into a vicious Spinning Heel Kick from HTK. This led to HTK climbing to the top and hitting Mohammed with a High Flying Elbow. He then went for the cover but Mohammed managed to kick out. Later on Mohammed manages to get out of a Bodyslam attempt and reverses it into a DDT on HTK. Mohammed then goes for the cover but HTK kicks out at 2. HTK began to gather momentum again and tried to hit a Suplex on his oppoent but Mohanned managed to flip out of it onto his feet. Mohammed then went for a quick roll up and grabbed the tights of HTK for the win. After the match HTK offered his hand as a show of respect to Mohammed, Mohammed then went to shake hands but cheap shotted HTK with a right hand to the face and then hit him with his Powerbomb.

10 Man Battle Royal

The match started with every member of the nWo roster in the ring. After the opening bell it was an all out brawl as every man went for one another. The first man to go was Buzz Stryker as he got Hip Tossed over the top rope by HTK. A few minutes later the next man to get eliminated was Rapid Fire Maldonado as he recieved a monumental Dropkick from LeGrande which sent him over the top. All the time this was going on the other seemed to be focusing on Homeless Jimmy who wasn't fairing to well in the match. However he did manage to muster enough strengh to Body Press Slam HTK over the top and out of the match. LeGrande then squared off against Al-Ahmed Mohammed. Both men started to trade blows with each other. After serveral punches to each other, Mohammed tries to run and Clothesline LeGrande over the top however LeGrande manages to reverse with a Back Body Drop eliminating Mohammed. Mikey Whiplash had now gone after Lucian Bagwell. Lucian Bagwell picked up Whiplash and was going to eliminate him but he allowed LeGrande to run off of the opposite ropes and Dropkick Whiplash from the arms of Bagwell out to the floor. LeGrande had now eliminated 3 men, this made him the strong favourite in many peoples eyes. Now with 6 people gone we were down to the final 4. Lucian Bagwell, Guilotine LeGrande, DeVius and Homeless Jimmy. The four men now squared off against each other. LeGrande and Jimmy and DeVius with Bagwell. LeGrande took Homeless Jimmy all the way to the top and then brought him down with a lethal DDT. This knocked Jimmy out completely. LeGrande decide he would do it again but once he was at the top, Bagwell seized the moment and pushed them both off to the floor eliminating them. Now it came to the final 2. DeVius and Lucian Bagwell. While his back was turned DeVius tried come from behind and eliminate Bagwell but he managed to stay in and shake him off. nWo 4-Life! Preview

Tomorrow night promises to be another fun filled wrestling night for the nWo. Again we come live to you from Aurora, Illinois. After our debut last week there has been alot going on behind the scenes at nWo headquarters in Chicago. Many fans have asked when we will get to see the face of Mr. X? This week colour commentator, Peter Van Orton is going to be holding and interview with with newly crowned nWo Champion, Lucian Bagwell. This is to get his thoughts on Mr. X's decision about making DeVius the number 1 contender for the title after finishing as the runner up in last weeks Battle Royal. We do also know that DeVius will be in the arena. What will he have to say to the new champion?

Also, last week we understand Honky Tonk Kid went to the office of Mr. X after the debut show to ask for a rematch with Al-Ahmed Mohammed. HTK was told it would be taken under consideration and a decision would be make this week. Will HTK get the rematch he probably deserves?

Another match signed for this week is going to pit Kei Sato against his tag partner from last week, Rapid Fire Maldonado. This was due to communication problems that led to the two being defeated by Buzz Stryker and Guillotine LeGrande. We understand that after the match the two had harsh words for each other backstage. So this week they will settle it in the ring.

After the comotion that had gone on in the interview. Mr. X's spokes made another appearance this week. He said that after the visit Mr. X had recieved from HTK, it was decided that he wouldn't get his rematch this week. Instead, from what had just gone down in the Bagwell interview, tonight's main event would be a Tag Match. It would be Bagwell & HTK vs DeVius and Mohammed.

Match One

Kei Sato vs Rapid Fire Maldonado

This fight was going to be one of the fights of the night. It came around after mis-communication both men had in last weeks tag team match. In the early going Sato was much the mote aggresive of the 2. He used his mixed martial arts backgroud to tee to get the upperhand. Maldonado was lefft clutching his chest several times after it was made the target for some vicious kicks. Sato also anaged to hit a vicious Spinning Hell Kick to the back of Maldonado's head which seemed to knock him out. Sato would then go for the pin only to have Rapid Fire kick out at 1 and a half. After this Maldonado started to build some momentum hitting beautiful Dropkick on Sato which sent him reeling. Maldonado then went for one of his severe Clothleslines but it was ducked by Sato and Maldonado walked into another kick to the head from Sato. After the kick by Sato, Rapid Fire's temper begins to get the better of him. Sato uses this to his advantage and starts using his quickness to avoid getting hit from Maldonado. Still fuming at Sato, Maldonado swings a fierce right hook but Sato manages to duck it and lock in the Syachihoko Clutch. Once this is locked in Maldonado had no option but to tap. After the match Sato extended his hand to Maldonado. Both men shook hands showing there was no hard feelings between them.

Match Two

Buzz Stryker vs Mikey Whiplash

In this match both competitors had everything to fight. This would show the fans that these two are rising stars in nWo. To begin the match Mikey Whiplash showed how cocky he can really be by bitch slapping Stryker. This didn't sit to well with Stryker who immedietly swung for Whiplash, but Mikey managed to reverse it into an arm drag. Once back onto his feet, Stryker was forced into the corner and was then met by a series of Knife Edge Chops to his chest. Whiplash then started to stomp a mudhole into Stryker until he was laid out on the mat. Hre then went up top for an Elbow Drop but Stryker manaed to moveout of the way just in time. Back on his feet now, Stryker hit a delayed Vertical Suplex on Whiplash and then went for the cover. Whiplash kicked out at 2. Before Whiplash could get back to his feet, Stryker comes out of nowhere with a high knee to the face. It sent Whiplash back to the mat. Later on in the match Stryker managed to reverse a Waistlock into a picture perfect German Suplex. After he added the bridge and went for the pin only to have Whiplash kick out just before the 3. Stryker then puts Whiplash into a Headlock but Mikey gets out of it by Irish Whipping Stryker and hitting a Face Crusher. Whiplash then seizes this moment to climb to the top and hit the Whiplash 187 and pin Stryker for the victory.

After the match we saw an interview with Honky Tonk Kid. He came out to say that he was very dissappointed with the decision Mr. X had made with tonights main event. However it was chance for him to get payback on Mohammed so he will take it.

Match Three

Guillotine LeGrande vs Homeless Jimmy

After being dominate for most part of the Battke Royal last week, Guillotine LeGrande was out tonight to show the world why he should in the nWo Championship picture. However first he had to go through Homeless Jimmy, who was fresh from a win last week against Mikey Whiplash. Right after the opening bell LeGrande charged straight after Jimmy hitting him with a right hook that floored Jimmy. Quickly getting back to his feet, Jimmy managed to duck another right hook attempt and hit LeGrande with a DDT. Jimmy then went for the cover but LeGrande kicked out at 1. LeGrande quickly got back to his feet and hit a nice Superkick to the jaw of Homeless Jimmy. LeGrande then went for a pin attempt but Jimmy kicked out at 2. After this the match was going back and forth. Sometime later LeGrande went for another Superkick but Jimmy managed to catch his leg and execute a Single Leg Crab. LeGrande was screaming in pain but managed to crawl his way to the ropes. Jimmy proceeded to grab the ropes and stomp the life out of LeGrande. Jimmy then ran off of the ropes only to met by a Dropkick to his knees from LeGrande. LeGrande then started to stomp the life out of Jimmy just like his opponent done to him. LeGrande then picks up a lifeless Jimmy and with ease, hits the Ace Crusher for the 1, 2, 3! After the match Jimmy was walking backstage when LeGrande ran up behind him and nailed a Cothesline to the back of Jimmy's neck. This left Jimmy laying motionless on the floor and afterwards we understand he was taken to the local hospital for treatment.

Main Event Match

Honky Tonk Kid & Lucian Bagwell vs Al-Ahmed Mohammed & DeVius

Tonights main event was sure to be a cracker. All four men had some against their opponents. HTK and DeVius started the match. In the early going it was fairly even between the 2. Both hitting hard moves on the other. HTK managed to hit a sweet standing Dropkick on DeVius which sent him reeling. HTK went for cover but DeVius got his shoulder up at 2. HTK then tagged in the nWo Champion Bagwell. Champion and challenger stood toe to toe. It wasn't long before fists were flying between the 2 and Bagwell managed to get the upperhand and whip DeVius into the corner and connect with a huge splash. Bagwell tries a splash again but DeVius moved out of the way and connected with a Tornado Punch to Bagwell's temple. DeVius tagged in Mohammed. Mohammed then picked up Bagwell and Bodyslammed him hard to the mat. He then ran off of the ropes and connected with a hard elbow to Bagwell's back. Mohammed started to dominate Bagwell until he was Irish Whipped off of the ropes and both me connected with each other in a Double Clothesline. This was the opportunity Bagwell needed to make the tag to HTK. He manages to make the tag and HTK jumps the ropes and heads straight for Al-Ahmed. He Clotheslined him to the mat and the same went for DeVius when he ran into to try and take out HTK. HTK then jumped to the top and hit a picture perfect Missle Dropkick on Mohammed. He then went for the cover but Mohammed got his foot on the bottom rope. HTK then picked up Mohammed and ran to the opposite ropes in hope of a Clothesline. However it was ducked and reversed into and Powerslam from Mohammed. Mohammed then went for the cover but HTK kicked out at 2. At this DeVius tried to come into the ring but the referee stops him. During this distraction HTK went for a Suplex on Mohammed but he managed to twist out of it and hit an undetected Low Blow. The referee finishes with DeVius and counts the 3 and for the second week running Mahammed has beaten HTK by cheating. After the ending bell Mohammed calls for DeVius to come into the ring and they both proceed to put the beat down on Bagwell and HTK. Afterwards they leave the ring after having sent both their rivals a message and left them laying n the ring.

The Syachihoko Clutch is a pinning move, and Shu Sato doesn't use it anymore.

Shu turned heel late last year, with his brother Kei, and the two now do a religious cult style gimmick, with lots of vicious heel work, and weapons being used.

They dress like the KKK, aswell.

nWo 4-Life! Preview

This week on nWo 4-Life! the battle rages on between Lucian Bagwell and DeVius. Last week DeVius managed to get a win over the champion in the main event. This week he gets his chance at championship glory as he goes for the nWo World Heavyweight Championship. Will Bagwell manage to keep the challenger at bay? Or will DeVius become the champion and make short work of Bagwell's title reign?

Also last week in the main event we saw Al-Ahmed Mohammed go up against his rival, Honky Tonk Kid. Ever since our debut show, Mohammed has been acusing America of not being fair to the Arab nation. He then went on to take his frustrations out on HTK, which later lead to Mohammed picking up the win by cheating. Well last week was no different. We again saw Mohammed cheat to pick up the win against HTK and Bagwell. HTK has been dying to get his hands on Mohammed one on one. He even went to the offices of Mr. X to ask for a rematch. Will he get his match this week?

Guillotine LeGrande has been making quite a name for himself these past couple of weeks. In week one he was the most dominate man in the Battle Royal, eliminating the most people. And last week he physically dominated Homeless Jimmy in singles action last week. However after the match he showed what had to be his unsportsman like side by giving Jimmy a beat down after the match. This week Jimmy has asked Mr. X for a rematch against LeGrande, but he wants to take it to the streets. So this week LeGrande and Homeless will square off in a Street Fight. Will LeGrande dominate Jimmy once again? Or will Jimmy show LeGrande what life's like for a Homeless guy?

Also signed for this week is:

Rapid Fire Maldonado vs Buzz Stryker

Mikey Whiplash vs Kei Sato

Tonight's show started out with Mr. X's spokesman in the ring ready to make an important announcement. He said that Mr.X had finally come to a decision regarding Honky Tonk Kid's request for a rematch with Mohammed. The spokesman decreed that at nWo 4-Life! next week HTK would face Al-Ahmed Mohammed, one on one in a Falls Count Anywhere match.

Again going for the Flying Clothesline, Stryker managed to shift the ropes and Maldonado lost his balance allowing Stryker to hit him with Belly to Belly Suplex from the top. This folded Maldonado up. Stryker then went for another cover, but some how Maldonado got his foot on the ropes. Strkyker then went to pick up Maldonado but was caught by a nice forearm to the face. Mohammed said he didn't really care for Mr. X or his decision. He then went on to say that he didn't see the point in having to fight HTK again because he has already beat him twice and that if he had to he would make it three in a row. Van Orton then asked him about his thoughts about the match being Falls Count Anywhere. Mohammed again said that he didn't care, as far as he was concerned it would just be another way for him to inflict pain on an American.
