Rogue's Gallery

Has anyone else heard this album? It's a compilation of pirate songs and sea shanteys, covered by contemporary artists, and it's phenomenal. Jarvis Cocker does an incredible version of "A Drop Of Nelson's Blood", Loudon Wainwright III was probably born to sing "Good Ship Venus", and there's some other great tracks on there by Antony, Lou Reed, Bryan Ferry (who sounds about 75 now, I don't know what's happened to his voice...), Sting, Ralph Steadman....it's all very much worth listening to.

And it's compiled and produced by Gore Verbinski and Johnny Depp.

You should listen to it. All of you. Right now.
