The bell sounds as the two men walk out from their corners. They meet in the center of the ring. Lightbulbs flash all across the arena. Finally the two men lock up, with the World Champion showing an early strength advantage. He backs Flair up into the ropes, where the ref forces a break. Booker obeys. He breaks cleanly, but gives Flair an opening. Flair snatches Booker, and hurls him back into the corner! Chop! WOOOOOOO! Chop! WOOOOOOOOO! Chop! WOOOOOOOO! Flair grabs the World Champion and hurls him across the ring into the opposite turnbuckle. Booker smashes into the turnbuckle, then stumbles out from the corner. Flair charges, but the World Champion is able to recover, and back body drop Flair, head over heels, sending the sixteen time world Champion crashing down to the canvas. Both men spring up to their feet.

Everyone’s favorite Irishmen, Fit Finlay rolls under the bottom rope. Flair sees this, and has no choice but to drop the leg of the World Champion. Flair beats Finlay to the punch, literally, and connects with a jab to the face of Finlay! He drops the sheliegh! Flair connects with a second jab to the face! The crowd is going nuts as Flair is opening up on Finlay. While all of this is going on, William Regal rolls under the bottom ropes at this time. He grabs the sheliegh, and sneaks up behind Ric Flair. LOW BLOW! The “Dirtiest Player in the Game”, lived up to his name, and executes a back-kick to the unsuspecting William Regal! Regal slumps over, in obvious pain. Flair grabs Regal and Finlay both by the head, and smashes their skulls together! The ref is attempting to regain order, but trying his best to let everything go, so that the championship match doesn’t end in disqualification. Besides, Ric Flair seems to have everything in control anyways. Finlay and Regal are staggering around after having their skulls smashed together. Flair charges and clotheslines both over the top rope! The ref moves over and tells them to stay out of the match. Flair lets out a WOOOO! The crowd responds! WOOOOO! Flair turns his attention back towards the World Champion. Sheliegh to the face! King Booker connects with that damn sheliegh to the face of the “Nature Boy”. He tosses the weapon out of the ring, and then drops to the canvas. The ref turns around, never seeing a thing. Both Flair and the World Champion are motionless. The ref turns and looks as Queen Sharmell, suspicious that something isn’t right. She cheers on her man from the apron, and the ref has no choice but to begin the long ten count, but making sure and dragging it out so that both men can rise up to their feet. Booker remains motionless on the canvas, at this point, while Flair is busted wide open. His bleach blonde hair is completely dyed crimson, with his own blood.

Flair is the first one to move. He rolls over onto his stomach, and begins crawl towards the ropes. Flair struggles to find strength, but shows the heart that has carried him to sixteen World titles, and gives the match everything he has. Dave Batista is back up to his feet at this point, and begins to pound the canvas to motivate his mentor. With the vocal support from Big Dave, Flair reaches the ropes. However it is obvious that Flair has used every bit of strength he has left, as he pulls himself up to his feet with the aide of the ropes. SPIN-A-ROONI! The World Champion spins back up onto his feet, and waits for Flair to turn around. The Nature Boy helplessly stumbles into the BOOK END! BOOK END! BOOK END! Batista pleads for Flair to kick out as the ref counts 1-2-3!!!! The bell sounds, as the crowd erupts into a chorus of boos. King Booker rolls out of the ring, and is handed the World Championship. Queen Sharmell is there to greet him, and help him, as the man who is still the World Champion back-pedals up the entrance ramp, finally being joined by William Regal and Fit Finlay. Once he reaches the top of the ramp, Booker looks back to the ring with a look of almost shock, as if it is just sinking in that he defeated Ric Flair. Booker raises the World Title Belt once more, this time in the direction of Dave Batista, who is standing over his bloodied mentor in the center of the ring. Batista just gives a death stare up at the Kingdom, and more directly, King Booker who has the World Championship draped over his shoulder, and is sporting a huge simle, as Queen Sharmell helps him stand.

WINNER: AND STILL WORLD CHAMPION, KING BOOKER

Shane O'Mac's Commentary: Needless to say, the World Championship increased in prestige after this instant classic. Kudios goes out to both of these men. Both men showed that they deserved the right to be called World Champion. Ric Flair showed why he is one of the best of all time, going toe to toe with the World Champion. Had it not been for all the damn interference at the end of the match, the Nature Boy I believe would be holding the World Championship this very moment.
