Further experiments with Illustrator

I had a project in my Digital Illustration class recently, we had to take a picture of a simple object and use the pen and shape tools to draw it out, and then use gradients to color it.

So, I used the following picture (WARNING, LARGE IMAGE): Motorola S705 Screen

And, after alot of work, I finished. Personally, I'm loving the result... I went alot further into this then others probably did, since she was expecting something more simple then this. I'll be using my college's print shop to get it printed on high-quality glossed paper, from there I'll be slapping it on a display board and adding a title to it.

Should look nice printed, I think

wow ! loving it man. really great job. I never really got the hang of illustrator like I have with photoshop , but seeing this really makes me want to get back into it. I knew illustrator ws powerful but damn! awesome work
