Xtreme Wrestling Alliance Update

16th December 2006

- Well just one day ago, news broke out of Paul Heyman's new creation, the Xtreme Wrestling Alliance and the whole build up to XWA has been hyped and at last, the hype may well be upon us. Paul Heyman has released comments that on January 6th 2007, The Xtreme Revolution will be an event held in Philadelphia, of course the former stomping ground of Heyman's former company, the Extreme Championship Wrestling. Heyman also stated that he'd been in contact with numerous guys surrounding his latest project.

- Hours after revealing the launch of XWA at The Xtreme Revolution show on January 6th, Heyman has released details of sponsership details with Yahoo, Carling Beer, Budweiser and Ceasers Palace, Heyman is said to be delighted with this news. It has also been revealed that Heyman has signed former ECW star Justin Credible to an open contract, this is the first signing to the XWA and Heyman has promised more.

17th December 2006

- The first large event of Paul Heyman's Xtreme Wrestling Alliance will be a night of champions! Heyman stated on a live radio webcast that Perry Saturn, Chris Hero and Steve Corino have signed to contracts, Heyman confirmed all of them would be performing at the event and one of the men could indeed walk out with any of the two single championships up for grabs. No details were released on the type of matches but the XWA Universal Championship and XWA Television Championship will be on the line, the XWA Universal Tag Team Championships are also up for grabs, no tag teams have been signed yet.

19th December 2006

- The XWA continues to take shape, Paul Heyman has been very busy over the last four days, it's hard to believe just four days after the announcement of the company, Paul Heyman has an eight man roster. Heyman has taken advantage of open contracts from numerous companies. Here is a full list of the roster as we know it so far.

- Bobby Roode

- Chris Hero

- Chris Kanyon

- Colt Cabana

- Giant Bernard

- Justin Credible

- Perry Saturn

- Steve Corino

The additions of Bobby Roode and Chris Kanyon may come as a suprise to some, but Heyman couldn't resist the offer of Chris Kanyon who is said to be a changed man, Kanyon has a lot more focus and it is expected Heyman felt the addition of Kanyon could help some of the younger guys he plans on bringing in. Roode is a very talented individual and is only appearing in TNA and Heyman is a very big fan of the Canadian. With Cobana, Giant Bernard and Perry Saturn also, the roster is one of much experience and talent, various rumours surrounding Tajiri, Mike Awesome, Shane Douglas and Rhino continue, Heyman is said to be looking at bringing in some more characters from his past.

We will release more details as we get them.

It's the least of your problems, but I'm fairly sure Heyman's 90-day no-compete clause would encompass ventures like this. You know, though, while the premise behind the creation of the company is basic, the fact that you're using some talent people wouldn't think to use is good, in particular, mad props for the Giant Bernard love. I may or may not read further, but it's an interesting concept, so long as you don't go the obvious and dull route by having Corino or Hero be the champion.

December 20th 2006

- As the day developed, Paul Heyman released a statement to Vince McMahon and the rest of the world on his new XWA.com website, it stated that he read the small print to his contract and it only said that Paul Heyman could not appear on rival wrestling promotions television programming for 90 days. As the XWA has no television deal, this CANNOT affect Paul Heyman's new venture, this was simply used to stop Heyman joining TNA.

- Before releasing this statement, the XWA.com website was finally revealed. The site was posted with an Xtreme Revolution page, and the first two matches for the first event of the company were also released for the night of champions, and Paul Heyman has put together the double main event and my god, how he didn't disappoint, the card so far is as follows;

xr.gif

meppv.gif

XWA UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIPThe feature main event of the evening will feature three huge names and even better, there going at it in a cage. The King Of Old School Steve Corino, Train Wreck Giant Bernard and the name says it all, Justin Credible face off in a triple threat match up. Corino a multiple time championship holder in numerous Indy promotions and in Japan promises to play a huge part in Heyman's latest creation but will it be asking too much to win the Universal title in his first outing? Giant Bernard who has been recently touring in Japan returns to professional wrestling, formally A-Train in the WWE, this monster is a former Intercontinental champion and boasts a huge kick to the face as his deadly finishing move. Justin Credible only knows to well what it is like to work for Paul Heyman, the former ECW champion and Tag Team champion maybe the favourite going in to this match, but who will have the right to walk out of Extreme Revolution with the grandest prize in the XWA?

tvppv.gif

XWA TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP

The Television Championship also gets decided in a triple threat match, putting together two superstars with a big future against a veteran of the business. Bobby Roode, Perry Saturn and Chris Hero square off to decide the only other singles championship in the company. Bobby Roode looks to continue his good work in NWA:TNA, the Canadian brute looks to add the XWA TV title to his accomplishments but will getting past Saturn and Hero prove to be too much? What needs to be said about Perry Saturn? The man has been everywhere and faced off with basically everyone, a former WWF European champion has to be favourite to be walking out with the championship in this match, doesn't he? A former CZW World champion, Chris Hero maybe not that far behind in being the favourite to capture the championship and with all three of these men being in the ring at the same time, who knows what will go down?

December 21st 2006

- C.W Anderson, Danny Doring, Elijah Burke, Julio Dinero, Roadkill, Sylvester Terkay and Yoshihiro Tajiri have all been confirmed by Paul Heyman as signing open contracts, also adding most if not all would be appearing at Xtreme Revolution, if this is so we believe here at XWABACKSTAGE.net believe that these will be the final additions to the roster before this event.

All except Tajiri and Dinero, Heyman made the signings after recent releases from the ECW brand in the WWE. Doring was released only three days ago, it is believed he left because of the departure of Paul Heyman. The additions of Anderson, Tajiri, Roadkill and Doring brings more experience to the roster. Whilst the additions of the other men sees the first 'younger generation' of wrestlers enter the company. The charismatic Burke who will be competing under Samuel Burke along with tag team partner, Terkay, were released only yesterday. It is believed that the team will be facing off with the last ever ECW Tag Team champions, Roadkill and Doring at Xtreme Revolution. Dinero is young but boasts experience with a lot of the Indy promotions on the circuit, mainly you'd remember him from NWA:TNA as a member of Ravens first Flock in TNA.

- Another match as been released to the public via the XWA.com website;

cvst.gif

Colt Cabana vs. Yoshihiro Tajiri

In the first singles match-up named for the Xtreme Revolution card, the experienced Tajiri faces off against RoH fan favourite and highly rated, Colt Cabana. Who's going to take the victory and advance up the ratings?

- Here is the updated roster;

- Bobby Roode

- C.W Anderson

- Chris Hero

- Chris Kanyon

- Colt Cabana

- Danny Doring

- Giant Bernard

- Julio Dinero

- Justin Credible

- Perry Saturn

- Roadkill

- Samuel Burke

- Steve Corino

- Terkay

- Yoshihiro Tajiri

December 22nd 2006

- We suggested that Paul Heyman maybe finished with adding more talent to the roster; the latest name to be linked with the XWA is Paul Heyman's Last Big Thing, Brock Lesnar. Lesnar has stated a return to professional wrestling could be on the cards, WWE was the only place Lesnar would consider, but will his former agent be able to convince Brock Lesnar otherwise? Tune in over the next few weeks and we'll let you know. Sonny Siaki has also been added to the roster page, Siaki will debut at Xtreme Revolution when he faces off against another latest signing to the XWA, C.W Anderson.

cwss.gif
C.W Anderson vs. Sonny Siaki

The former ECW superstar, C.W Anderson debuts in the XWA have recently being released from the WWE where he appeared on the ECW brand. Anderson will have his hands full as a cocky Sonny Siaki looks to send a message through the veteran. Who's going to win this battle, The Spinebuster? Or will it be The Siakalypse that is victorious?

- XWA Xtreme Revolution is taking shape nicely, here is the confirmed card so far as it stands;

XWA Universal Championship - Giant Bernard vs. Justin Credible vs. Steve Corino

XWA Television Championship- Bobby Roode vs. Chris Hero vs. Perry Saturn

Colt Cabana vs. Yoshihiro Tajiri

C.W Anderson vs. Sonny Siaki

December 23rd 2006

- Chris Kanyon will be appearing at Xtreme Revolution but he will not be competing, it is believed Kanyon maybe starting an angle, the last time we heard, the latest plan was to have Chris Kanyon feud with Tajiri but over the last few days the name has changed many times, we've also heard that Kanyon and Chris Hero may have some kind of angle, Scott Steiner has also been mentioned as a new signing and a possible opponent for Kanyon, but it is believed Heyman isn't a big fan of Steiner.

December 24th 2006

- The XWA has released the final match for Xtreme Revolution and as we revealed three days ago, Samuel Burke and Terkay will square off against the last ever ECW Tag Team Champions, Danny Doring and Roadkill.

tag.gif

XWA UNIVERSAL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS

In a match that will see the new take on the experienced, the XWA Universal Tag Team Championships are going to be leaving Philadelphia in very capable hands. Burke is very charismatic and someone that has a bright future in the business and with his 'muscle' Terkay, the two blend very nicely as a tag team and deserve to win the titles, so people thinking Doring and Roadkill are going to walk this one will be in for a nasty surprise come Xtreme Revolution. Roadkill and Danny Doring have also just been released from the ECW brand in the WWE and can tell the world that they are Paul Heyman's last ECW Tag Team champions. Doring felt releasing Heyman was wrong and was released himself, causing Roadkill (Braddock) to walk with his partner. The experienced team look to add the XWA Tag titles to their accomplishments, but can they pass the Elijah Experience?

December 27th 2006

- Alex Shelley, Claudio Castagnoli, Donovan Morgan and The Messiah have all been added to the XWA.com roster page, but details have been released and none of them will be at Xtreme Revolution but it can be confirmed they will be appearing at XWA shows in the near future. The names pretty much explains themselves, all will be known to wrestling fans. Shelley is very highly rated by many of his fellow wrestlers in the back and in the ring. Castagnoli will be known from CZW where he was one half of The Kings Of Wrestling with Chris Hero, his signings brings the two back together and it was Hero who put in a good word for his friend to Paul Heyman, it is not known if they will be appearing as a tag team in XWA. Morgan was unemployed and approached Paul Heyman himself, he is a multiple time champion in the APW with all titles. The Messiah also comes from CZW and is a legend in his own right, he certainly could make a huge impact here and even though Paul Heyman isn't to keen on his attitude, his in-ring style appealed to Heyman and his latest product.

It is rumoured recently released Trevor Murdoch and Lance Cade maybe the mystery men. Alex Shelley has also been mentioned in bringing his debut forward and him playing a role in the Television Championship match.

The latest batch to be released include, M.V.P, Rene Dupree, Viscera, Rob Conway and Al Snow, Snow has also been released of training duties he had with WWE. The contracts of Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy are also set to expire soon, Chris Masters, Charlie Haas and Scotty 2 Hotty find themselves in the same ship, their futures are not known. - The future of the ECW brand in the WWE is now in more doubt and the XWA is now welcoming Joey Styles as their head announcer, it isn't known when Heyman made the deal and it isn't known if Styles would take an interest in the product but he will be commentating at the event, Paul Heyman may join him as the color commentary but that isn't known yet. Heyman has also confirmed his backstage staff is taking shape, Sgt. Slaughter and Ted DiBase are known to have joined as road agents but we do not know anything else.

January 3rd 2007

- We would like to wish you a very happy new year but apart from all the drunkenness, the Xtreme Revolution event is now merely four days away and we're sure like us, you just can't wait. With this being a huge event in the history of the Xtreme Wrestling Alliance, we here at XWABACKSTAGE.net are doing a very first for us here, we're opening a competition, all you have to do is send in your answers to us and the one who answers the most correctly will receive a late Christmas present, but please bare in mind we do not even know the answers so this cannot be fixed, good luck;

1. Who will walk away with the XWA Universal Championship?

2. Who will be crowned the first Television Champion?

3. Who will capture the Universal Tag Team Championships?

4. Who will the mystery man (or men) be at Xtreme Revolution?

5. Which XWA superstar is Chris Kanyon going to call out?

Please feel free to leave your general thoughts on the XWA also.

1. Who will walk away with the XWA Universal Championship?

Hmmm.....Steve Corino is likely to be the obvious choice. Great in-ring skills, awesome on the mic. But its too obvious. He can be the man to build your company around, but he doesnt need the belt to do it. Credible would be nice, he's repayed Heyman's faith before. But I think Bernard should and will take it. Something original, and whoever topples Bernard eventually will have one hell of a task at hand. So Giant Bernard is my pick.

2. Who will be crowned the first Television Champion?

Perry Saturn. You know Im a Saturn mark, and out of the other guys....well....Saturn is legit!

3. Who will capture the Universal Tag Team Championships?

Hmmmm......tough one to call. Turkay and Burke are a new, fresh, upcoming tandem and could grow with a title run. But I see Heyman keeping faith with his ECW contingent of Doring and Roadkill. They will walk out victorious.

4. Who will the mystery man (or men) be at Xtreme Revolution?

DAMNIT! I remember you telling me this, but I completely forgot. Lol. Ive got about 3 or 4 names in my head right now.....lol. Im gonna go with Vampiro. I reckon Vampiro will turn up, and go after Saturn.

5. Which XWA superstar is Chris Kanyon going to call out?

Im trying to think who Kanyon has a past with, and for the life of me I cant see anyone. But a Kanyon/Corino feud would own, so I say he will screw Corino.

Looking forward to the show man. Good luck.

The Liacouras Center, Philadelphia PA, January 6th 2007

Thanks to Robert Newman for the following results;

Claudio Castagnoli vs. Donovan Morgan vs. Julio Dinero vs. Kevin Steen; I was pretty glad in the end i got here early, as the Center was about a quarter full in honesty, these four guys made their way to the ring. As the arena was beginning to fill out these guys were putting on a pretty solid match, don't have a clue why Kevin Steen was here, didn't know he was signed? Morgan looked pretty impressive, he hasn't competed in sometime and still a few days earlier he was ranked at 14 in the Top 100 wrestlers of the year, Heyman may be on to a winner with him. Castagnoli was playing a face role, he hyped the crowd and that was who the crowd were hot for, Dinero also looked impressive. All the guys apart from Steen got a near fall in this match. The highlight was a pretty high impact Sayanoura (spinning Pedigree) by Morgan on Dinero, Double C split the fall up, when the arena was basically full. Castagnoli took advantage of Steen after Dinero hit a Superkick on him but afterwards was taken over the rope by Morgan who went over with him. Castagnoli slid under the bottom rope from the outside, lifted Steen and hit a Ricola Bomb for the victory, after the match Morgan and Castangnoli had a stare down before leaving. Claudio Castagnoli bt. Kevin Steen via The Ricola Bomb at 6:03.

- After the match, Heyman made his way down to the ring causing the crowd to go crazy, you should of heard the women next to me! An XWA chant was started as Heyman made his way to the announcers table with Joey Styles. Heyman stood on the table with his arms raised and the XWA chant became deafening, the Center was used the same as how the basketball games are set up, not all the arena was being used. What was, seemed pretty full, a good response to Heyman's latest creation, a F*ck WWE and TNA chant was started, Sonny Siaki then entered down the small ramp way receiving a lot of heat.

C.W Anderson vs. Sonny Siaki; Sonny Siaki started the event in the ring, Anderson then entered the complex, he hyped the crowd as he walked down the ramp. He rolled under the bottom rope and Siaki soon walked up to him and delivered a right hand and the match was started. Siaki dominated the early goings, at one point even spitting on a fallen Anderson. Anderson then reversed a suplex and the match became more even, both exchanging near falls. The two seemed to work well in the ring and the reaction to it was pretty good considering it was the opening match, the crowd were hyped for Anderson and Siaki played the heel role well. The turning point in the match came when Anderson reversed The Samoan Pop, climbing over Siaki's shoulders and clubbed him from behind with a huge right hand, he picked up a fallen Siaki and delivered a Spinebuster in the middle of the ring to claim the first ever victory in XWA, as Anderson left the ring, Siaki pulled himself up via the top rope and talked trashed to Anderson who left with his arms raised. C.W Anderson bt. Sonny Siaki via a Spinebuster at 7:51

- The lights then went off, the crowd at first thought the mystery signing that Paul Heyman had made was entering the arena but it soon became apparent, Chris Kanyon was the man entering the building. The crowd were hyped for the former WCW superstar. It wasn't the usual Kanyon we'd expect to be here, Kanyon walked down the ramp slow with his head down, his hair seemed pretty scruffy, he wore all black clothes. Kanyon carried a skull with hair? Down the ramp with him, as he entered the ring under the bottom rope and looked up for the first time, his eyes seemed to be black? He received a microphone and cut a solid promo. Kanyon, an XWA exclusive, seemed to playing a darker character and seemed to be in a heel role? Not what i was expecting. The crowd then found out who Chris Kanyon was calling out, Steve Corino! He said and i quote, "I'm going to rip The King Of Old School apart and then move on to whoever wins the Universal Championship!" He said he hoped Corino won the title so he could kill two birds with one stone before Corino took all he could take. Corino appeared, laughing at the top of the ramp way, he told Kanyon he was washed up and way in over his head, the continued throwing insults before Heyman jumped up from the announcers table and announced a match for XWA's next event, he said if Corino wins the title tonight then the title will be on the line. Kanyon versus Steve Corino, First Blood match! The crowd went crazy as Kanyon smiled up at Corino who smirked down at Kanyon, the two then left.

Colt Cabana vs. Yoshihiro Tajiri; Both men entered the building to a good reaction, you have to say with all the talent of the roster, Tajiri maybe the biggest name on it. The crowd seemed pretty hyped for this match with a Let's Go Cabana and Let's Go Tajiri chant started as the two stared at each other. The match was pretty even Cabana tried to slow down Tajiri with vicious right hands and stretched Tajiri with an Armbar, Cabana even ducked the green mist towards the end of the match! Cabana seemed to have most of the momentum in the match and soon became the fans choice to win the match, in a way could class it as an upset? But Tajiri then dominated the match for a while after moving out the way of a second rope leg drop by Cabana and he took advantage of the situation by throwing Cabana in the corner and stretching him with The Tarantula, which received a good reaction, he then got a near fall after that. Cabana battled back and the two exchanged blows, again, these two seemed to work pretty well together. The end of the match saw Tajiri hit a vicious standing kick to head of Cabana, Cabana dropped to his knees and Tajiri delivered another one before picking up the three. Tajiri celebrated on the top rope hyping the crowd again, Cabana got to his feet and stood behind Tajiri, as Tajiri turned, the two shook hands and left the ring together. Yoshihiro Tajiri bt. Colt Cabana via a Buzzsaw Kick at 8:28

- Via a small screen above the entranceway, cameras backstage played images of Giant Bernard punching and kicking a bag backstage. Scott Hudson then entered the picture to get some words from 'The Train Wreck' Giant Bernard. Bernard ripped into both Justin Credible and Steve Corino. He promised he'd win the Universal Championship for the people but more importantly himself, he then went on to say he respected Paul Heyman more then anybody for giving him this chance and he wouldn't let Heyman down. He added if the people wanted to see real destruction and genuine pain, do not miss the main event because they haven’t seen nothing.

XWA Universal Tag Team Championships - Danny Doring & Roadkill vs. Samuel Burke & Terkay; Burke and Terkay entered first, both wearing blacked out tracksuits, Burke seemed his usual cocky self, myself i think these two could be the signings that no one talks about but will prove their worth. Terkay seemed emotionless as he followed Burke down the ramp way. Burke got on the mic and asked the crowd if they were ready for the XWA Experience before Doring and Roadkill interrupted at the top of the ramp way with a mic in hand. Doring told Burke and Terkay that the fans wanted them as champions and that they were the last ever ECW champions before sprinting down to the ring, the bell sounded and a four man brawl was underway, Doring and Terkay brawled outside and Burke tried a quick pin and grabbed a handful of the tights on Roadkill but still only got a one count. Roadkill started beating down Burke as Doring and Terkay made it to their corners for the first time. Solid blows to the head caused Burke to be busted open early on. Roadkill and Doring you could tell were the more experienced tag team, tagging regularly and concentrating on Burke leaving The Man Bear outside. Terkay became inpatient and attacked Roadkill from behind, another brawl started and Terkay threw Doring over the top rope and hit a huge belly to belly on Roadkill, he dragged Burke to the corner and tagged himself in, hitting another huge suplex on Roadkill before Doring took him out from behind, Doring and Terkay then went at it. Both exchanging near falls. Terkay hit a Jackhammer like move and Doring hit his finisher, The Wham, Bam, Thank You Ma'am but Burke broke up the count. Another four-man brawl started and as the ref tried to break up Roadkill and the bloodied Burke outside, Terkay hit Doring with a chair busting him open! Terkay moved quickly to get that chair from the outside as the refs back was turned. Doring laid on his back as Terkay brought him to his feet. Burke threw Roadkill into the steel steps and began stomping him, whilst in the ring Terkay hit a huge Musclebusta to get the three! Terkay captured the titles for himself and Burke! A very solid enjoyable match and blood for the first time in XWA! The crowd booed Burke and Terkay heavily as they left, Doring shouted trash up at them as they laughed at the fallen men in the ring and the outside. Terkay bt. Danny Doring via the Musclebusta at 15:22 NEW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS

- Paul Heyman left the announcers table and got in the ring! I was going crazy like the women next to me, again, haha. Heyman explained that the XWA was his new baby, his new life! Vince McMahon ruined his last and it wouldn't happen again. Heyman explained most of his signings came through nothing but pure hate and misused talent of Vince McMahon so he could show Vince how it should be done. Heyman then announced February Third as the XWA's next event, again it would be here at The Liacouras Center. The event would be called, XWA War Of The Worlds and already Steve Corino versus Chris Kanyon will be taking place at W.O.T.W. Heyman said things are going to be different after that as XWA would be going on a weekly Pay Per View show! Wow! More details will be giving during the next month.

XWA Television Championship - Bobby Roode vs. Chris Hero vs. Perry Saturn; Saturn was playing a bad ass role, he seemed very focused and got a good reaction like Chris Hero, Bobby Roode came down to the ring in all his Canada gear, singing the anthem as he slowly walked, SERIOUS HEAT for Bobby Roode and much to the crowds delight, including mine, Perry Saturn kicked his ass! Not even giving him a chance to remove his jacket. Hero and Saturn then brawled, the announcer couldn't even say the match was for the TV title. Saturn dominated both of the men before flipping his finger at Bobby Roode! Saturn hit a spinebuster and got a near fall on the Canadian before Hero split the count up. Hero then showed a little bit of dominance taking out Saturn and Roode as they brawled outside throwing himself over the top rope! Hero chucked Saturn into the steel steps before hitting a huge DDT onto Roode on the outside! Hero got Roode into the ring but only got a two count. Saturn recovered and Hero and him again started brawling, Saturn ducked a right from Hero and went under his arm, he spun Hero round delivered a boot to the gut and hit him with the Three Wheeled Moss Covered Family Credunza! Is that correct? Anyway, a spinning fisherman suplex. He then locked in the rings of Saturn on Hero! He was ready to tap before Roode stamped on the head of Saturn. Roode started delivering blows to Saturn before chucking him over the top rope, he covered Hero but only a two. Saturn attempted to attack Roode from behind but was spotted, Roode ducked a clothesline and hit a neckbreaker to get a one count on Saturn. He then began to stomp on both of them. Roode posed with his hand on his heart generating heat from the crowd. He walked to the corner and stalked Hero as he got to his feet, he started running and hit a huge Lariat on Hero, Roode screamed as Hero hit the mat but from behind this time Saturn does hit Roode with the clothesline. Saturn picked up Roode and hit a Death Valley Driver, just when I'm beginning to think Saturn will be the first TV champ, the mystery superstar arrives, Vampiro! He entered via the crowd, jumping over the metal guard railings he slid into the ring as Saturn turned round he was met with a kick to the gut and The Nail In The Coffin. Vampiro looks down on Saturn before leaving, the crowd boo as Bobby Roode slings his arm over Saturn and becomes the first Television Champion of the XWA! What a match! Perry Saturn is gonna be so pissed! All three men laid out in the ring for a few seconds before leaving to the back, Roode posed at the top of the ramp with his title for a while. Bobby Roode bt. Perry Saturn via interference from Vampiro at 20:40 NEW TELEVISION CHAMPION

Cage Match - XWA Universal Championship - Giant Bernard vs. Justin Credible vs. Steve Corino; The cage that has been hovering above the ring all night is eventually lowered, man I'm so hyped right now. Heyman is going pretty crazy with Joey Styles right now aswell. An XWA chant is started before Justin Credible, Giant Bernard and Steve Corino make their way down to the ring. The three stand in opposite corners as referee, Billy Silverman holds the championship above his head outside the cage. The bell is rung and a three way brawl starts the match, the crowd is hyped, certainly the loudest it's been all night. Bernard hits a big boot on Credible before being school boyed by Corino but he kicked out at one. Bernard and Corino start brawling and Bernard sends Corino head first into the steel before Credible comes from behind and does the same to Giant Bernard, Near fall on Corino by Credible. Left and rights delivered to Corino by Credible then Credible had his head almost taken off as Giant B came from no where with a kick to the face again. Bernard screamed out as he started clubbing the back of Corino as Credible laid on the mat holding his jaw, Credible's mouth is bleeding! Baldo Bomb! Bernard hit his trademark but only gets a two as Corino gets the shoulders up in time. Bernard then changes focus to Credible. Blood continues to pour from the bottom lip. Justin Credible fights back still, exchanging left and rights before a kick to the stomach and a DDT gives Credible the advantage. A little bit of revenge is then had, Credible picks up Bernard and scrapes his head along the steel, busting him open! Blood begins trickling down the forehead of Giant B before an XWA chant is started and Corino attacks Credible from behind. It then dawned on me, Credible and Bernard have a history together in X-Factor in the WWF, totally forgot about that. Corino then takes it to Credible, getting a near fall after an Old School Suplex but Credible got the shoulder up. Bernard was then up and all three men again exchanged blows, really solid match. Corino is then bust open after having his head drove into the steel cage by Bernard, all three men are bleeding! Giant Bernard attacks Credible, right hand followed by another, Corino then attacked Bernard taking him down with a block to the knee, Credible crawls to the corner. Corino locks in a Cobra Clutch Sleeper on Giant Bernard, Credible can do nothing but watch, Corino wears down Bernard, he releases the hold and raises his arms but Justin Credible got up, as Corino turned he was met with a Super Kick, Credible dropped to his knees after and had to drag himself to the door, Billy Silverman opened the door and Justin Credible fell out! Justin Credible is the first XWA UNIVERSAL CHAMPION! Credible holds the belt tight to his chest as he sits up against the railings, Corino holds his jaw looking on at a fallen Justin Credible, Giant Bernard shouts at Justin Credible and that was the end of the XWA's first event. January 7th 2007

- WOW! What an event Xtreme Revolution truly was. I wasn't there personally but I'm told it really was quite a show. Here are a few extra details about the event; the dark match as such wasn't booked until an hour before the event started. The event was attended by 2,285 people, all were very hyped. The win for Justin Credible went down well, Roode claiming the Television Championship came as a surprise to some, the descion was Heyman's, Roode got a lot of heat and may well turn out to be a major part of the company. Vampiro got a good reaction but debuted as a heel. Joey Styles and Heyman signed autographs after the event as they left the announcers table.

- The First Blood match between Kanyon and Corino that was announced has been changed, details are below.

- War Of The Worlds was announced as the next event for the Xtreme Wrestling Alliance, again the event will be at The Liacouras Center, the event will take place on Saturday February Third. Already the following has been posted for the event on the XWA website;

XWA Universal Championship - First Blood Match

Giant Bernard vs. Justin Credible ©

At Xtreme Revolution, Giant Bernard and Justin Credible were both busted open in a brutal Cage match that witnessed Justin Credible being crowned as the first ever XWA Universal Champion. With that in mind, Paul Heyman has confirmed that Justin Credible and Giant Bernard will go one on one in a First Blood match at War Of The Worlds! Justin Credible may find himself on a very short reign as champion, Giant Bernard screamed up at a bloodied Credible at Xtreme Revolution and you will witness the first meeting of the former tag partners at this event! Giant Bernard remains focused and rumours circulate of him having a huge tantrum after not claiming the prize backstage at The Liacouras Center at Xtreme Revolution, Will it be another kick by Bernard to Credible that claims the prize this time? Or will Justin Credible open Bernard up with a his Super Kick? Justin Credible's first defence promises to be a very interesting one.

Falls Count Anywhere

Chris Kanyon vs. Steve Corino

Chris Kanyon didn't compete at Xtreme Revolution so War Of The Worlds will witness the debut of the now, much darker much more focused Kanyon. Kanyon announced his challenge to Steve Corino at the beginning of Xtreme Revolution, a challenge that Corino laughed at! Paul Heyman then got involved and announced the match, leaving a stare down between the two, things will be witnessed at this event that may not to be pretty and my guess, this one is going to be the ugliest. Corino failed in capturing the XWA Universal Championship at Xtreme Revolution but a win over Kanyon will put him straight back into the hunt and win for Kanyon doing the same for him, this match could be brutal, don't miss it!

January 11th 2007

- Paul Heyman in the last four days has been a very busy man, Heyman has continued to add to the roster after he announced the weekly pay per view, again he's raided released WWE talent and former ECW stars have been signed. Al Snow, Dawn Marie, Kid Kash, Mike Kruel, Sean Morley and Tony Mamaluke have been added to the roster page. The release of Sean Morley aka Val Venis happened less then twenty-four hours ago and it is believed he is now the highest paid star on the roster, it is believed Perry Saturn and Al Snow are second and third. It is not known if these new signings will be appearing until the weekly shows begin.

January 13th 2007

- Billy Kidman has returned to wrestling and will be appearing in the Xtreme Wrestling Alliance! More details will be released as we get them.

January 17th 2007

- It is believed by us here at XWABACKSTAGE.net that Kidman will be appearing at War Of The Worlds. Kidman won't be the only one making his debut at this event. The debut of recently released WWE superstar and former ECW star, Tony Mamaluke will be making his debut at the event. Details are listed below;

wotw4.gif

Donovan Morgan vs. Tony Mamaluke

Donovan Morgan was impressive in a match that took place before Xtreme Revolution and his reward his a match with debuting XWA member, Tony Mamaluke. Mamaluke holds an impressive record competing in many companies over the years, it is believed Mamaluke has come to the XWA to in his own words, "bring back his dignity" Mamaluke wasn't used well by the WWE and see's the XWA as a fresh start, but Donovan Morgan may well stop him taking a victory, 'Wrestling-Personified' Donovan Morgan looks to claim his first victory within the company.

- Rumours continue to circulate around the Internet about a possible deal being struck with Bravo earlier then expected, Heyman announced at Xtreme Revolution that a weekly pay-per-view show will be starting but Bravo seem to be keen on a late night spot for Paul Heyman's company, nothing is known about if this is true, but good things maybe coming early for the Xtreme Wrestling Alliance, we have our fingers crossed.

January 18th 2007

- This time, unlike before Xtreme Revolution, a match has been announced to be taking place before the event is meant to start. Sonny Siaki, Mike Kruel and Julio Dinero will square off in a triple threat match, the match will see the debut of both Dinero and Kruel, Heyman is apparently keen on the image of Mike Kruel. He was apart of a stable in OVW and came with good words from Joey Styles who witnessed Kruel a few times at ECW events the WWE were promoting.

- Ladies and Gentleman, my god, Paul Heyman has really done it this time, Don Callis is back working with Paul Heyman! Callis will not be appearing at War Of The Worlds, but we can exclusively reveal details of the signing. Callis is set to return as the heel staff member, which suggests a deal with Bravo maybe close. It is believed at this moment in time, Callis may work some kind of angle with Giant Bernard. It is now believed Paul Heyman, Don Callis and Ted DiBiase are the booking committee of the company. DiBiase was recently signed as a Road Agent by Heyman after his release from the WWE.

January 20th 2007

- Two more matches have been confirmed for War Of The Worlds, one will witness a huge Elimination Four-Way and more debuts of superstars! More details are below;

WOTW3.gif

Alex Shelley vs. CW Anderson vs. Kid Kash vs. Yoshihiro Tajiri

In a four way that promises to be very interesting, the eventual winner of this Elimination like match will see the winner choose a title shot of his choosing on the first weekly event of the Xtreme Wrestling Revolution. The match will see the debut of Alex Shelley and former ECW Heavyweight Champion, Kid Kash. Also added to the mix are CW Anderson and Tajiri who are in the match after gaining victories of the first event of the company. The winner of this match will send a clear message to the rest of the company, and for all we know, one of these four men could be the next Universal Champion.

SAMUEL BURKE, TERKAY and VAMPIRO vs. DANNY DORING, PERRY SATURN and ROADKILL

At Xtreme Revolution we witnessed Vampiro cost Perry Saturn the XWA Television Championship and we could witness Saturn regain a piece of revenge as he teams with Danny Doring and Roadkill to take on XWA Universal Tag Team Champions Samuel Burke and Terkay and the man himself, Vampiro. This promises to be one hell of a six man tag match and with Burke and Terkay rubbing salt in the wounds after claiming their gold at Xtreme Revolution, Doring and Roadkill are also seeking revenge. You don't want to miss this one.

- It is believed Al Snow has been helping Heyman with training routines for certain guys within the XWA. It is believed Snow has been working with Kevin Steen, Julio Dinero, Donovan Morgan and Mike Kruel. It is also believed Matt Morgan has been training with these guys also, it is not known if he will be appearing at XWA events.

- A1, Gangrel and Matt Striker have all been added to the roster page on the XWA website. More details are set to be released.

January 24th 2007

- XWA have released the final match up for War Of The Worlds;

WOTF5.gif

Cade and Murdoch vs. Kings Of Wrestling

On the same day that saw Cade and Murdoch added to the roster page, they've been added to the War Of The Worlds card. The former WWE Tag Team Champions will go toe to toe with the now reunited, Kings Of Wrestling. Hero and Castagnoli are former CZW Tag Team Champions and this tag team match promises to be one to remember. Hero left Xtreme Revolution strapless so looks to get back to winning ways, and what better way to do it then claiming the W over arguably the biggest tag team in the Xtreme Wrestling Alliance.

January 25th 2007

- War Of The Worlds has been finalized and the card is as follows, this also includes details of other appearances;

Plus, Bobby Roode puts out an open challenge for his Television Championship, who is going to tune up and accept the shot? Is Bobby Roode being a bit cocky with the open challenge? ALSO, Kidman is set to return to professional wrestling, but what impact will he have on War Of The Worlds?

January 29th 2007

- The signing of A1, Gangrel and Matt Striker are indeed the final signings Paul Heyman will be making as of this moment in time, details of the XWA were released again on a TalkAnythingWrestling.com radio show, Heyman and Callis appeared on a segment for about twenty minutes, full details of the Interview are below;

Heyman claimed the costs of the company were a lot more then he expected, when questioned if he'd be on the ECW budget soon, Heyman laughed and said wouldn't that be interesting.

Paul Heyman said that he was very happy with his roster and that is why he wouldn't be adding to it anymore. Details were released about Al Snow and Bill Demott running a development camp. Wrestlers who have been working with the two former Tough Enough trainers are, A1, Julio Dinero, Mike Kruel and Matt Striker will be some of the guys starting there, Heyman said Striker would have an impact when he will debut, it isn't known when any of these guys will be used regularly.

Don Callis was 'delighted' to be back in wrestling and liked the feel of what Heyman had started, 'I'd be a fool to miss it' he said. Callis had no comment when questioned about the possible angle with Giant Bernard that has been circulating, he just told people to turn up to the events and see what happened.

Callis then revealed, James Mitchell, Dawn Marie and Simon Diamond would be appearing as the 'valets' of XWA superstars, these would be the only managers signed at this point as well, with Callis also apparently going to be in that role also they said they were covered in that department. James Mitchell will most likely play a role with Vampiro.

Heyman said that a stable would be taking shape at War Of The Worlds no other details were given.

Both Heyman and Callis hyped the card and said how pleased they were with Justin Credible, Donovon Morgan and Giant Bernard.

When asked about the possible deal with Bravo being struck early, Heyman laughed and said we'll have to wait and see. Heyman said he was about 50/50 about it but he had spoken to Bravo officials who had representation at Xtreme Revolution, they went away pleased with what they saw.

1. Will Justin Credible retain his Universal Championship?

I think yes, but Im not sure how. How can Bernard lose uncleanly.....because for him to lose cleanly in a First Blood match so soon in, will kill any credibility he has as a monster. Also, Credible cant lose the belt, or that will lose overness. Will be interesting.

2. Who's going to claim the victory, Steve Corino or Chris Kanyon?

Not sure why a Falls Count Anywhere match to be honest, but Ill say Kanyon cheats to win.

3. How is Kidman going to return at War Of The Worlds?

Well I picked Kidman for your diary, so I hope he has a HUGE impact!

4. Who is going to win the Elimination Four Way match? And what title will they choose?

Tajiri I reckon, and then he will go after Roode.

5. Will Cade and Murdoch be successful on their XWA debut?

Yep. Not really hyped for a nothing team, but yeah they will win.

6. Who's going to accept Bobby Roode's title challenge?

Matt Striker. You said he would have an impact, but I just hope he doesnt win the belt. He isnt that good. But then again, neither is Roode.

Thanks to Robert Newman again, for the following results;

Dark Match - Julio Dinero vs. Mike Kruel vs. Sonny Siaki; Well, this time i was meant to arrive early for this one. Dinero and Kruel were already in the ring when i arrived but Siaki came down not looking very impressed, he got a mic before he got in the ring and ripped into the two 'jobbers' supposedly of the match. Siaki slid in the ring and attacked Dinero, he was then helped by Kruel and for a while Dinero was double teamed by Mike Kruel and Sonny Siaki. That partnership came to an end after a Double Spinebuster, Siaki attempted the pin, Kruel didn't take to kindly to that and attacked Siaki, throwing him over the top rope. Kruel dominated Dinero for a while before Dinero turned the tables with a nice Drop Kick but Siaki was back and attacked from behind. Siaki hit a nice Vertebreaker on Dinero but Kruel split up the count. Siaki and Kruel started brawling and surprisingly, Kruel took advantage with a kick to the gut, after throwing Siaki to the corner he turned him round and lifted him to the top, about this point the arena was as full as it got. Kruel hit a huge Neckbreaker from the top, new version of Kruel Intentions? Before turning to Dinero who was pulling himself up by the ropes, Kruel spun him over and locked in a nice Armbar submission, Dinero tapped as Siaki looked on holding his head, Kruel celebrated before all three guys disappeared. Mike Kruel bt. Julio Dinero via an Armbar submission at 5:39

________________________________

Donovan Morgan vs. Tony Mamaluke; Morgan came to the ring first hyping the crowd before Mamaluke followed doing the same, a nice new Italian like music for Mamaluke who has the Italian flag on the back of his trunks. The guys hook up, exchanging some pretty high speed reversals before a stare down which receives a good pop from the crowd, XWA chants soon start, bit more hype about the crowd this event, the deal with Bravo being struck has helped. Mamaluke takes advantage with a nice Facebuster but only gets a one count, Morgan replies with a School Boy pin out of nowhere but like Mamaluke only got a one count. Morgan and Mamaluke exchanged right hands with Mamaluke taking advantage, after a Drop Kick, Morgan raised himself to his feet and again they exchanged rights and lefts, Mamaluke ducked a right and went behind Morgan hitting The Italian Suplex but only a two. Mamaluke hyped himself as Morgan shook his head trying to shake off the effects of a pretty sweet German suplex. After Mamaluke got a few more near falls again he jumped on a fallen Donovan Morgan and locked in a Dragon Panzer, Morgan sold it well but eventually got to the ropes, Mamaluke got a near fall again and then climbed the top rope, Morgan slowly started getting up and he ducked a Missile Dropkick from Mamaluke, he stood shaking his head as Mamaluke got to his feet, Morgan stalks Mamaluke, Mamaluke turned and walked straight into a Fallaway Slam. Morgan pulled down the shoulder straps and stormed over to Mamaluke, he hit an awesome Spinning Pedigree which he calls The Sayonara and collected the three count, after the match Morgan helped Mamaluke up he offered the hand as Mamaluke went to give him his hand Morgan laughed and rolled out of the ring, Mamaluke looked on holding his head. Donovan Morgan bt. Tony Mamaluke via The Sayonara at 7:12

Cade and Murdoch vs. The Kings Of Wrestling; Cade and Murdoch drew some serious heat in their first outing for XWA, Cade wore the trademark cowboy hat, looks like their playing the same roles as they did on RAW. Hero and Castagnoli got a huge pop, they laughed at Cade and Murdoch as they entered, could of been a good move getting these two back together. Murdoch and Cade dominate the early goings on, the first opening minutes see quick tags from Cade to Murdoch and vice versa. Castagnoli sells a weak chop from Murdoch, he slipped as he went for it, but Castagnoli ducks a Clothesline and hits a kick to the knee, with Murdoch fallen he lays into him with right hands before diving to his corner to get in Hero, Hero clears house and gets a two count on Murdoch, when Cade gets a tag a few minutes later things soon changed back and Cade looked impressive as he brawled with Hero. Cade hit an Atomic Drop and dropped a knee to the forehead of Hero, I’m about eight rows back and i heard Hero swear when the knee was dropped haha. Good double-team by Cade and Murdoch as they hit Double DDT on Hero, Castagnoli splits the fall up at two. Murdoch takes out Castagnoli and Cade follows up the attack on Hero with a huge running Lariat, making Hero spun in the air, Hero kicked out close to the three. Again the match balance turned, Castagnoli threw Murdoch into the steel steps outside after the two were brawling outside, this happened maybe two minutes after the Lariat, Cade was dominating Hero in the ring when Castagnoli got in behind him, he grabs the trunks and gets a close three count with a School Boy, Cade burst up, ducked Clothesline attempt, Cade turned round and was met with a Swiss Uppercut, Castagnoli really is the best at using an Uppercut. The crowd exploded but again, only a two. Murdoch got back in the ring and a four way brawl kicked off, Hero took advantage of Cade but Murdoch surprised Castagnoli from behind clubbing his back pretty stiffly. Hero and Cade spilled outside as the ref turned his back, Murdoch hit a Low Blow, with Castanoli fallen to his knees Murdoch hits a Stunner like move, the ref turns round and Murdoch collects the three count, after the match the brawl continued between the two teams, I'm firmly behind Hero and Castagnoli on this one but what a good match, maybe just the beginning? The two teams disappeared brawling up the ramp way. Murdoch bt. Claudio Castagnoli via Jawbreaker at 13:01

Bobby Roode made his way down to the ring, he got some good heat just walking down the ramp, he kept pointing at the Television Championship around his waist, but here was the first surprise of the evening, Dawn Marie. Marie walked out when Roode signalled to the back about half way down the ramp, she wore a Canadian boob tube, pretty hot, good heat for her also. After introducing himself as 'The Definition Of Canadian Brilliance' Roode moved on to his Television Championship, claiming he would never lose the title he will prove it, putting it on the line on the first instalment of, Xtreme TV on Bravo. Roode named Colt Cabana, Tajiri, Donovan Morgan, Alex Shelley, just to name a few but when Marie was giving her few cents on the matter, Roode got his answer, CW Anderson. Anderson isn't the strongest on a microphone, maybe Heyman will do something about that? But he held his end of the deal this time, he told Roode he was going to 'enforce respect on the youngster' and take a huge step forward in his career. Roode told Anderson he was finished and living a dream, Anderson told Roode he'd see him on Xtreme TV and left, so did Roode and Marie. But, Anderson was back as soon as Roode left.

Alex Shelley vs. CW Anderson vs. Kid Kash vs. Yoshihiro Tajiri; Two debuts, two guys coming off victories, winner gets a title shot of his choosing on the first Xtreme TV. Shelley, Tajiri and then Kid Kash follow CW Anderson to the ring. The crowd behind Tajiri for this one. Anderson and Shelley start the match, Kash and Tajiri stand at opposite corners. CW and Shelley are both pretty technically sound and exchange a few seconds in a Sleeper hold each before reversing, Kash curses at the crowd for a bit. Shelley takes down Anderson with a Clothesline and reigns down blows on Anderson who eventually pushes off Shelley, Shelley runs at Anderson and jumps but Anderson delivers a tackle like move as Shelley dived at him. Anderson tagged out to Tajiri and the two impressive lightweights go at it, Shelley is solid all round he switches his attack to the air and takes out Tajiri after recovering from CW's Spear. As soon as Shelley brings himself to his feet, he tags Anderson back in, out of no where Bobby Roode bursts down the ramp and insults CW from the outside, CW turns his attention and shouts back at Roode, roll up by Tajiri and CW is the first eliminated, Bobby Roode screwed him, Roode disappears as Kash jumps in the ring and attacks Tajiri as he picks himself up, Shelley then enters, three way brawl, it's turned into a triple threat match. Solid kick by Tajiri! He nearly took of Kash's head with that kick, Shelley and Tajiri again go at it. DDT by Tajiri, he still only got a two count. Tajiri throws Kash to the corner, he locked him in The Tarantula! That move will never be boring to me. With Kash screaming in pain, Alex Shelley then started hitting him wit rights and lefts with Tajiri still holding him in the submission! Tajiri caught a kick from Shelley but Shelley hit an Inzerguri, Shelley posed above a fallen Tajiri, he turns back to Kid Kash but is met with a solid right hand by Kash, Shelley spins round, KICK TO THE FACE! Shelley hit the mat like a sack of potatoes, i think he may even be out colt, Tajiri covered him and made Alex Shelley the second person he'd eliminated. Kid Kash again attacked Tajiri from behind, looking to take the advantage. Tajiri throws rights back as he turns, kick to the stomach, Kash falls, and Tajiri hits a Buzzsaw Kick but some how Kash kicked out! Colt Cabana comes running down the ramp and banging on the apron, cheering on Tajiri. Kash picks himself up slowly, Tajiri stalks him again, looking for another huge kick. Kash ducked, Kash School Boys Tajiri and gets the three! Kid Kash has just stole a title shot away from Tajiri! Kash slides under the bottom rope, Tajiri on his knees looks up at Kash as he raises one arm and holds his head with the other. Kid Kash bt. Tajiri with a Roll Up at 17:44

Danny Doring, Perry Saturn and Roadkill vs. Samuel Burke, Terkay and Vampiro; Saturn got a huge pop as he entered the arena with Doring and Roadkill all to Saturn's music, unlike the three other men. Terkay and Burke appeared wearing their Tag gold laughing at Doring and Roadkill, they waited outside for Vampiro who entered with the lights all out. Saturn started in the ring Terkay but clearly wanted Vampiro who didn't want any of it, everyone around is asking and debating why Vampiro screwed Saturn. Saturn tags out to Doring after hitting a huge Suplex on Terkay, Doring takes it to Terkay who escaped quickly through a tag to Samuel Burke. Burke and Doring show good chemistry exchanging punches, Doring took the advantage with a Neckbreaker but Terkay split up the count before even a one was counted. Doring continued to gain offence before tagging out to Roadkill. Roadkill hit a similar Suplex to Saturn before Doring enters again. Doring and Roadkill soon end up brawling with Terkay and Burke, Vampiro is left standing staring at Saturn. Vampiro laughs as Saturn bursts into the ring, the ref leaves the teams brawling and stops Saturn getting to Vamp. Vampiro is then introduced to the match after being tagged in by Burke, Vampiro cleans house, throwing Doring over the top and Roadkill into the corner of his partners who beat him down, Vampiro challenged Saturn to get into the ring, much to the delight of the crowd. The two stand toe-to-toe exchanging words. Then, the moment we've been waiting for since Xtreme Revolution, Saturn takes down Vampiro and mounts him busting him open with vicious rights and lefts! Vampiro turns Saturn on to his back and hits him with rights and lefts, the ref struggles to split the two up, then i noticed Burke with a chair, Burke was right behind Roadkill as he pulled himself into the ring, Kidman! Kidman jumped over the guard railings. Burke laid out Roadkill with the chair! The ref turns to Roadkill and dives to his attention, Kidman climbs to the top, Vampiro hits The Nail In The Coffin on Saturn out of no where! Kidman looks to be stalking Vampiro on the top rope, Vampiro turned around, SEVEN-YEAR ITCH ON PERRY SATURN! Kidman quickly exited the ring as Vampiro fell on to Saturn, the ref turned around missing it all and counted the three! Perry Saturn was screwed again! Vampiro exits the ring and raises the arms of Kidman! What the hell is this about? The crowd booed pretty badly at these two, Terkay and Burke followed Vampiro and Kidman up the ramp as Doring tries to bring round Saturn and his partner Roadkill. Vampiro bt. Perry Saturn via The Seven-Year Itch from Kidman at 14:59

Paul Heyman got up from the announce table to a huge ovation. When in the ring Heyman announced and confirmed Xtreme TV to the Seventh of February, four days time. Heyman confirmed that the Television Championship and the Universal Championship will be on the line as Bobby Roode with Dawn Marie takes on CW Anderson and he said he'd just finished speaking to Kid Kash on the phone and as a result of his success earlier on this evening, Kid Kash will get a shot at Justin Credible or Giant Bernard in the Main Event of the first ever Xtreme TV. Heyman added another match to Xtreme TV because of Kidman's actions he would face Perry Saturn one on one! With Vampiro banned from ringside! Heyman dropped another bombshell, Sean Morley will debut this Xtreme TV! Heyman promised us that Morley will be at Xtreme TV! Heyman got a huge ovation again and an XWA chant directed at him as he sat back down at the announcers table next to Joey Styles.

Falls Count Anywhere - Chris Kanyon vs. Steve Corino; The one I was really hyped for, certainly didn't disappoint I'm glad to say. Kanyon entered first with a pretty cool new entrance and Corino followed and like he did at Xtreme Revolution he laughed at the now gothic looking Chris Kanyon. Kanyon attacked Corino before the bell even rang, taking him to the outside. The two start brawling around the covered floor around the ring. Kanyon slams Corino's head into the metal fencing! Then he just checked him into the fencing next to him. An XWA chant starts as Kanyon stomps down Corino who sits in the corner where two railings meet. Corino was soon up and brawling with Kanyon, continuing on the outside. The two enter the crowd, Corino whipping Kanyon into a solid metal blocking! Old School Bomb on the floor! Chris Kanyon still kicked out at two, awesome Brainbuster by Corino, he's used that move as his finisher some places! Corino dominated the next minutes of the match, taking any kind of offence on a groggy Kanyon. The match soon got taken back to the ring, Corino tried finishing it as soon as Kanyon was rolled under the bottom rope, he got a near fall and then locked in a Cobra Clutch which Kanyon had to crawl to the bottom rope for the referee to release the hold. It was then Kanyon who had the chance to gain some momentum. After battling back with a few knees to the gut of Corino, he was able to hit a quick Piledriver, both men were laid out for a seven count before both getting to their feet. After exchanging more blows, the battle went up the ramp way. Kanyon took out Corino with a hard Clothesline on the ramp, after delivering boots to the chest area, Kanyon picked him up and threw him on his shoulders, the whole arena was on it's feet at this time. Kanyon hit an Argentine Neckbreaker on the ramp! A huge thud echoed through the arena. Corino kicked out at two as the crowd was in a frenzy. Kanyon took Corino back to the ring, Corino got a quick roll up for a two count but then Kanyon kept up his domination. Hitting a Kanyon Kutter he thought he had the match won but Steve Corino kicked out. Kanyon scored a few more pin falls before Corino was back in the match. Kanyon exited the ring and got a chair, as he entered Corino was standing with his back to him, as Kanyon swung the chair to a turning Corino, The King Of Old School ducked, Kanyon turned around but Corino hit a Superkick making the chair rebound into Kanyon's head, busting him open! Corino slowly got back to his feet as Kanyon lay on his back with arms spread wide, blood pouring from the middle of head. Corino who looks pretty weak now picks up Kanyon, he's on the shoulders, OLD SCHOOL BOMB ON THE CHAIR! Corino using that variation of a Sit-Out Scoop Slam Piledriver. The ref counted the three and Corino fell to his back next to Kanyon as his music blared through the arena, what a match! Corino stands up to look down at a fallen Chris Kanyon, he laughs, as a bloodied Chris Kanyon lay lifeless in the middle of the ring, this got a standing ovation from Paul Heyman! The 'Holy Shit' chant said it all. Steve Corino bt. Chris Kanyon via an Old School Driver at 24:37

First Blood - XWA Universal Championship - Giant Bernard vs. Justin Credible; Giant Bernard came to the ring looking pretty focused at this moment in time, i still wasn't sure on who would take the victory. Justin Credible entered the arena wearing the Universal Championship around his waist. The crowd obviously behind him on this one, a small section wanted Bernard to win but Credible chants dominated. The certainly didn't hold back in the first punches thrown, at one stage it even looked like Bernard got bust open in the opening minute, but it was a laser pen, duh. Bernard used his power, he held the champ above his head and threw him straight down with a Gorilla Press. Justin Credible was chucked into the ropes, he ducked a Big Boot and when he came back from the other side took out Bernard with a Shoulder Tackle. He wasted no time in lifting up Bernard, head under the arm, Elevated DDT! Credible quickly checked for blood but nothing, he started laying boots into Giant Bernard, but The Monster just kept trying to stand up, looked as if he was just taking the boots. Justin Credible ran to the ropes but as he bounced back, Bernard caught him and planted him with a Black Hole Slam. After regaining his breath, Bernard took advantage of the match and just used brute strength to show his dominance in the ring, using hanging Suplexs he even used The Train Wreck to leave Justin Credible lifeless in the middle of the ring. But, still no blood. The match then became more even and Bernard had another scare, Justin Credible hit a huge Diamond Cutter like move and Bernard paniced covering his face thinking he was bleeding, but The Monster exploded and almost took the head off of Justin Credible's shoulders with a kick! Bernard ran to Credible to check for blood, but nothing. A Justin Credible chant was started. Again the two exchanged blows, out of no where Bernard rapped his hands around the throat of Justin Credible and lifted him above his head but Credible delivered a kick to the throat! As he was dropped and Bernard bent over grabbing his throat, Justin Credible took a few steps back and slid under the bottom rope, he started searching under the ring, KENDO STICK! Justin Credible has his trademark kendo stick. He gets back into the ring, Bernard turns, SMACK! Bernard falls down as the crowd goes on a mad one, the roof blew off, i swear! Credible throws the kendo stick to the outside and watches Bernard lifts himself up using the ropes, he turns, SUPERKICK! BERNARD IS BLEEDING! BERNARD IS BLEEDING! Credible was given his title as he fell to his knees, he went to climb the turnbuckle but Bernard was up in no time and he attacked! Head first he sent Credible into the top turnbuckle, as Credible falls he drops his title. Bernard chucks it into the middle of the ring, he grabs Credible and scoops him up he walks over to the title, Bernard simply delivered a huge Tombstone on the title! Credible was left bloodied on his back as Bernard picked up the Universal Championship. He held it above his head and this is pretty much where the show ended. Justin Credible bt. Giant Bernard via Superkick to retain Universal Championship at 27:00

Hmmmm.....not sure if I liked this show as much as your first one, but it still had its good and bad.

Good:

Bernard destroyed Credible after the match to gain a little bit of credibility back.

CW vs Roode. I cant wait to see CW destroy Roode. I HATE THAT GUY!!

Bad: (Sadly there will be more here than above :()

Kid Kash winning. Tajiri eliminates 2, and then nails Kash with a Buzzsaw kick but that doesnt win it? Hmmmm.....makes Kash look too strong IMO, especially as he then beats Tajiri straight after. Not that good for Tajiri.

The use of Kidman. I like the Vampiro/Saturn feud alot, but I dont like Kidman getting involved for NO reason. Kidman has no history with Saturn, surely going after someone like Tajiri, who he has history with and costing him the win would make more sense. Also, Saturn vs Kidman would suck eggs!

The main event. Credible won cleanly. And a Kendo Stick and a Superkick made your 'monster' bleed? It made Bernard look very weak, and like I said, the beatdown was good. But if Bernard doesnt get the belt next time, then you have wasted him IMO.

Apart from that, I look forward to the next show. Your Tv Show should make it easier to build it up and get some decent angles going.

Also, dont waste Bernard.....please!

- War Of The Worlds was another truly great event and it proved in the attendance, this time around coming off better with 2, 311 people showing up. Paul Heyman and Joey Styles again signed autographs as they left. I spotted CW Anderson, Justin Credible, Saturn and Doring all signing autographs I think there were a few more though. The match that received the best ovation was probley the Corino and Kanyon match, hopefully just the beginning of this. After this event the plan now is to have Bernard be the main player chasing Justin Credible but as the next large event isn't known, the title still may change hands depending on the next event date.

- The debut show of Xtreme TV was announced by Bobby Roode in his segment with CW Anderson. It has been confirmed that February 7th at 11pm EST on Bravo, already the whole card has been confirmed, details below;

. The Kings Of Wrestling and Cade and Murdoch had a battle at War Of The Worlds and on the first ever Xtreme TV we will see the rematch between the two teams, will Cade and Murdoch finish of The kings Of Wrestling? Or will Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli have their revenge?

. CW Anderson accepted Bobby Roode's open challenge at War Of The Worlds, then Bobby Roode screwed over Anderson in the Elimination Four-Way match costing Anderson maybe a shot at Justin Credible. Will Bobby Roode and Dawn Marie regret their challenge? Only CW Anderson can tell you that.

. Kidman and Vampiro formed some kind of alliance at War Of The Worlds and the debuting Kidman finds himself in a world of trouble with Saturn this Wednesday night. It's the second time Vampiro has played some part in screwing over Perry Saturn in two events.

. Kid Kash defeated Tajiri at War Of The Worlds and wants a shot at Justin Credible and the Universal Championship. Credible coming off a huge win against Giant Bernard defends his title for the second show running, will Kash take it off him this time?

. Plus, Sean Morley makes his first appearance as an Xtreme Wrestling Alliance superstar.

- Steve Corino has left for Japan for some tour dates with Zero One, the trip keeps him off the next two Xtreme TV shows. It is believed Chris Kanyon will not be on the first Xtreme TV to let him recover from the match with Corino, it isn't known if Corino will need some recovery time.

- The believed plans at the moment are to have a large event in mid-April, Heyman wants time to let feuds build up for a month or two.

- It still isn't known if Justin Credible will be dropping the title in the near future, there isn't any plans of a next champion yet, so maybe expect a long reign of Justin Credible as champ? It is believed Steve Corino and Chris Kanyon along with Perry Saturn are going to be pushed as the main feuds for the Xtreme Wrestling Alliance.
