I love The Offspring. Americana was the first album I heard, and I really liked it when I was at school, but I think having listened to most of their other stuff since, Smash is their best effort. And I don't know about them going downhill since Americana, I like Conspiracy of One and Splinter, even if they are a little more mainstream-friendly.

I also want to see them live, they're quite high up on my "10 bands I have to see live" list. My mum wants to see them also.

For me it's either Ixnay on the Hombre or Smash. All of their albums are great though.

Ignition is my personal favorite, as it has the raw feel their debut album had but also felt a bit more powerful. I like Ixnay on the Hombre just fine, but it was certainly the beginning of the end. I haven't really gotten into anything since Americana.
