He chooses which power to use in what order.

Theres many variations.

Reading dead mans tales and is asking for people's role titles really cool? I mean, sure, the guiy could say "Fuck off, Ace" but I thought roleclaiming wasn't cool?

It's allowed, but not that cool. Most good gamerunners ensure that roleclaiming wont break a game though, I doubt there's a role title in Dead Man's that would make somebody say "That title is definitely town and not made up" so it shouldn't make a difference there.

Scum tells vary from player to player. It's more important to know your own than anyone else's though.

Depends if he means individual scum tells, or general indicators that make someone likely to be scum.

thuggy used to have a scumtell where he would vote for Be purely because "it's Be." It was popular to hate Be, so it wasn't dangerous, no one wanted to be "that guy" defending Be.

Sort of like Be does to Potato Head now.

Scum tells in general usually are due to changes in behaviour from game to game.

For instance I played a few games with someone that would start many scum games with "ok town, lets do this!" like its a positive message. When he was town, he wouldnt. So it was a tell to me.

The more you play the more you see styles. When they deviate from that style, youll find they are hiding something.
