Well, I like the Starting Line, and I picked up some of their stuff, but I ended up with a song called Falling For You, which is listed as by them (as well as a million other bands, apparently) and I like it, but I can't for the life of me figure out who actually sings the song.

I know it's not TSL, so if anyone could help, that would be great.

I don't know, I did a search because I was feeling a surge of helpfulness (is that a word?).

You could always try allmusic.com as the site has a search engine, and you can search for song titles which will give you a list of bands that have performed that certain song title.

Wont be Jem. Jem's a female singer. Weezer is a possibility. Or Busted, if it's 'shitty' pop-punk, Starting Line sounding.

Those are the lyrics. and yeah, it sounds convincingly enough like TSL.

Student Rick and TBS are the ones for me, using the 'These empty feelings' verse.

And a quick Wikipedia search shows that Student Rick were most famous for Falling For You so maybe TBS covered it down the line? Maybe for a soundtrack or something.
