Wow, I haven't gone through the whole thing yet, but wow, what a mindfuck of a CD. It is a bit disappointing that half of the CD (the duets portions, the slower songs) don't work out, but God, "Earth Intruders", "Innocence", "Vertebrae to Vertebrae", and "Declare Independence" are fucking insane. Just one of those records you really have to step back and listen to.

I'm totally shocked that I prefer the Timbaland stuff to most of the rest of it. It's brilliant. Only gave it a few listens and from them I'd say it doesn't even come close to Debut, Homogenic, Medulla or Vespertine, sadly. It's better than Post though.

Anyway, I really liked the album personally. It isn't her best work at all, that's for sure. I think the slow songs work out pretty well personally, if I had to choose one song on the album that I didn't like it'd be "My Juvenile". No doubt in my mind though that "Declare Independence" is the album's highlight by a landslide.
