What do you think about The Dixie Chicks. Here in America they can't get played on the country stations and to most people they are a bit too country to be played on pop or rock stations. I still love there music and think the whole comment about Bush was blown Way out of proportion. Especially in a country that suposly prides itself on free speech, no matter where it is.

In case you don't know, Lead Singer Nattie Maines Said while performing in London that They were were ashame that President Bush was from Texas. Since then there standing in the Country music area have been non existent. Even tho there song and cd hit number one on the country charts.

I used to hate them actually. I always hated Natalie's twangy, whiny voice on pretty much every song. Their new album, with the rebel feel is actually quite good. Natalie seems to have toned down her voice a bit as well. As for the whole shit with Bush, who fucking cares. They're allowed to have an opinion just like anyone else, and just because they're famous doesn't mean their representing America, they're representing themselves.
