WWE presents Monday Night RAW!

Hosted by Jim Ross & Jerry “The King” Lawler

Monday, 02 July 2007

0) Funaki & Eugene defeated Sylvan & Nunzio in a DARK Match

The RAW show started and The Coach came to the ring and talked about the new draft starting a new era in WWE. An era in which The Coach is the manager of RAW.

Mick Foley came out and cut a promo about how he was an innovator that made RAW what it is today and Mr. McMahon said so before his death (the death angle has died off now in this diary but Mr. McMahon will not be making a return)

The Coach said that he would not give up his spot as Raw General Manager without a fight.

Mick Foley answered “If it’s a fight, you want, it’s a fight you’ll get”

Foley attacked The Coach and took him out with a Clothesline, he then went under the ring and got a barbed wire baseball bat to the approval of the crowd. He was going to attack Coach but he bailed out of the ring and up the ramp as Foley taunted from the ring to lots of cheers.

1) Charlie Haas defeated William Regal

William Regal was put over heavily as being specially drafted to RAW, King said it is destiny for Regal to be on RAW, so he can become a true superstar again. Charlie Haas pretty much killed Regal’s statement after he distracted the referee and got the pinfall after unseen interference from Shelton Benjamin.

After the match, The Worlds Greatest Tag Team talked about RAW having an opening for contenders to the World Tag Team Titles, WGTT then challenged Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch to a World Tag Team Championship Match right now.

Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch ran down and attacked both members of Worlds Greatest Tag Team

Marcus Cor Von was backstage and talked on the microphone about planning to make an early impact on RAW.

2) Marcus Cor Von defeated Santino Marella to WIN the WWE Intercontinental Championship

Marcus Cor Von mainly dominated over Marella but Marella got some offence but Cor Von was still able to overpower Marella. Marcus Cor Von pinned Santino Marella after the move that was now on RAW as “The Pounce!”

3) Jeff Hardy defeated Johnny Nitro

Jeff Hardy pinned Johnny Nitro after the Swanton Bomb. The Sandman’s music hit after the match, to the surprise of many fans. The Sandman walked out to the stage holding a cane in one hand and a microphone in the other. He said that if Jeff Hardy thought that was extreme, then he’ll show him extreme. The Sandman ran down and attacked both Jeff Hardy and Johnny Nitro with the cane.

The Coach was raging in his office backstage when suddenly Mr. Kennedy entered to a mixed reaction of the fans. Mr. Kennedy then told The Coach that he was happy that he was one of the randomly selected drafts. He then exclaimed that Mr. Kennedy is on Raw…..RAW!!!

4) Mr. Kennedy defeated Daivari

Mr. Kennedy pinned Daivari after the Green Bay Splash (fireman carry roll from second rope)

WWE Champion John Cena was shown backstage and was shown in an interview talking about the #1 Contenders Battle Royal that is happening next saying that it doesn’t matter who he faces because he will always be able to defend his WWE Championship

5) Triple H won a WWE Championship #1 Contenders Battle Royal

Participants: Triple H, Mr. Kennedy, King Booker, Rey Mysterio (return), Finlay, Jeff Hardy, Johnny Nitro, The Sandman, William Regal, Mike Mizanin

Rey Mysterio made his return to WWE and got a loud ovation as he eliminated William Regal, Finlay and Johnny Nitro before getting eliminated by King Booker

Triple H won last eliminating King Booker and Rey Mysterio

After the match, The Big Show’s music hit to loud cheers and he came down and cleared house of Rey Mysterio and King Booker who were on the outside of the ring. He then got into the ring and confronted Triple H. The Big Show Chokeslammed Triple H as the show came to a close.

Yeah, just a little point, but you kinda need to leave more detail in the match results. Seriously, you can't just put one line things for most of the matches; in the ECW main event you didn't mention one bit of things that happened in the match, just what happened afterwards. Paragraphs are also your friend, especially in that opening segment on RAW. It's a shame, because the draft actually looked quite good, but the writing of the diary itself leaves more to be desired for.

Backstage, Batista cut a promo on having had enough of the Great Khali and he will end the ferocious giant at Great American Bash in a Falls Count Anywhere Match.

6) The Undertaker defeated Kane in a Ladder Challenge Qualifyer

This was a pay-per-view quality match-up. Momentum switched both ways.

Kane hit a huge Diving Clothesline to the outside on The Undertaker.

The Undertaker hit a splash over the top rope onto Kane

The Undertaker hit a Tombstone Piledriver onto the stairs on Kane

Kane got a close fall after a Chokeslam

The Undertaker fought back and hit a Tombstone Piledriver for the victory over Kane.

The Undertaker was celebrating his victory and Edge came out and watched from the stage holding his World Heavyweight Championship as the show came to a close.

Yeah, you clearly didn't pay attention to this post here. More detail isn't requested, it's required. This is only slightly above some rate-my-card thread in the EWR forum.
