PS3 Question

Recommended Posts

My flatmate just bought a PS3 second hand yesterday, however, all the details (email addresses, passwords etc) are all saved into the machine from the previous owner. To put in a new email address or billing information we have to enter the password, which of course, we don't know.

How do we get rid of them, and restore the thing to factory settings? I've found a couple of guides over Google, but they don't seem to work. Help!

My second-hand Wii had the password from the last owner. I managed to crack it though.

"Security Question: What is your favourite sports team?"

[Hmm, probably football. Came from a second hand shop in London, so perhaps...?]

-ARSENAL-

*Incorrect*

[Okay...]

-FULHAM-

*Incorrect*

[Hmm, maybe I'm giving him too much credit.]

-LIVERPOOL-

*Correct*

[score.]
