BIG GAY PLAYLIST: January

Okay, it's back. It's been a somewhat mediocre month. But I'm thrown together a list of 20 good/great tunes (I wish I could have put in a better Chris Walla tune, one of my least favourites on the album. )

Got a total mix of styles in here; IDM, hardcore-punk, folk, some singer/songwriter shit, some jazzy/lounge stuff. Just, a nice mixture, IMO. There's a few more 'well known' bands in here as well, as well as some lot more 'downscale' bands...like Let's Talk Tactics, who I literally have no fucking idea how I found on myspace.

The archive is uploading, give it half an hour or so before it's finished.

Now the poll, it might get people to download it, plus it allows me to see if this isn't just a waste of my fucking time....you can select multiple songs, and the artist with the highest vote will end up in the next playlist (if I can find another song to put in...if not, I'd hunt out a related artist or something).

Oh, and this thing features a BRAND SPANKING NEW (In that I only heard it this morning )...Headlights song....which channels the spirit of 60's pop, it's so lovely.

Yeah, he was originally going in. Next month, I promise "Player will make an appearence. You can actually download his first album (as "Dom & Sam") from his website...or at least you could. Nowhere near as good as the "& The Solution" stuff, but pretty darn sexy. I'll hunt it out. Bah...he's taken the link off his sit...BOOO!

The kid's going to be a star, I swear. Get him on Jules Holland, they can duet at the magic piano.
