Holy crap, I marked like a bitch when I heard him in an advert today, the rest of the UK might finally get a taste of what a decent 'singer-songwriter' (god I hate that term) can do. Those who do already know him, do you prefer the Chariot album "as is" or the "stripped" version? I love the latter so much, it feels so natural and yet smooth, not raw like most 'live' albums.

I haven't heard his new album yet, or "Chariot (Stripped)", but "Chariot" is pretty good. Will probably get around to listening to his new self-titled album soon. But yeah, he doesn't set the world on fire, but has a couple of solid, fun tunes I will toss on from time to time (like Mike Doughty).
