Absorbing Song Lyrics

Ok, so have you ever been listening to your playlist on random and a song comes on, and you start singing along... then wonder "how the fuck do I know the words to this?".

That just happened to me with Ice Warm by InMe. I suddenly found I knew every word. Yet songs I listen to EVERY SINGLE DAY will not let me learn their lyrics, no matter how much I try. It's like the old adage, no Englishman knows the words to the second verse of God Save The Queen. I survive the first verse of a song like Save Me, or Deadly Sinners, and then just... don't know any more. But Ice Warm, which I very rarely hear and haven't consciously listened to for about four years, is fresh in my mind all the way through.

Sucks.
