The tribute to Ed McMahon and his rapport with Johnny Carson on the Tonight Show tonight was really touching. While their era of the Tonight Show was before my time (I think I was four when Carson passed the torch to Jay Leno), those clips were a great reminder of how good comedy transcends generations.
