Quite a weak line-up IMO, but it is free so I can't complain. There are still a few bands I would like to see though so I'll be going as always, and like every year my attention is going to mainly be on the Sumo Stage. Hot Club de Paris are a must see for anyone who hasn't seen them before, they are spectacular IMO.

Was gonna go for the sheer comedy/perving value of Millionaires......and the awesome-ness of Flatliners. But the line-up is a bit 'meh' as a whole, one of my mates has already dropped out and I think I have other plans that weekend anyway, so might bail. :/

Anyone going I would suggest giving "Hey! Alaska" a look. They're probably the strangest looking group of motherfuckers you'll ever see, but they're surprisingly rather good...but would be miles better if they got rid of the screamer and just stuck with the Dallas Green ripoff singer, who's got a cracking voice.

I'll be there as always but not overwhelmed by that lineup. Having said that, I haven't heard of most of the bands (which is half the problem I guess?), any standout acts on that list that are worth checking out?

Possibly the worst Music Live ever based on a combination of the Main Stage lineup, and the fact that the new setup means you can't get into any other venue after 7 o'clock, and the additional fact that you can't carry a drink from the bar to the stage in Boro town hall. My plan is Young Rebel Set early doors, try to get into the (dry) town hall for HCDP and FATHS, then probably sod off early with no chance of seeing anyone else barring the inexplicably headlining Hoosiers.

I'm feeling old, but I'm missing the years of watching Cooper Temple Clause at the back of the crown court with a crate of lager, or the year where Bloc Party et al played the second stage and you could still get in. Roll on Stockton Riverside Fest and The Human League!
