Wisdom Authority Respect (WAR)

Owner - Ted Turner

Size: Global, Base: America, Money: $50,000,000, Image: 80

With the financial backing of Ted Turner and the biggest names in the business, WAR has been the dominant force in professional wrestling for years. The recent rivalry between on-air figureheads Hulk Hogan and Mr. McMahon has proven to be a ratings success, and ultimately led to the brand-split which had been rumored for a while. While many argue that the old-guard has been on-top too long, don’t be fooled as WAR also employs many young hungry talents on the verge of superstardom themselves. With the recent uprising of UFC, as well as VLL and GWN looking to expand into the US, is it only a matter of time before WAR is unseated as the king of the mountain? Or will it remain the standard bearer in the sport?

Ultimate Fight Club (UFC)

Owner - Dana White

Size: National, Base: America, Money: $25,000,000, Image: 86

Following the tragic passing of a Mixed-Martial-Arts fighter during the main event of a high profile pay-per-view, Dana White was forced to watch his empire crumble. As sponsors pulled out left and right, the loss of television and pay-per-view deals, and being banned in all 50 states, he finally folded his beloved company. He would not be down for long though, as he founded UFC, named as an homage to his former company. Seemingly overnight UFC rose to National prominence by presenting a hard-hitting more realistic style that seemed to fill the void for many MMA fans and wrestling fans fed up with sports entertainment alike. Never one to hold his tongue, Dana made his intentions to be number 1 clear, even taking shots at Ted Turner and WAR. He recently enlisted Shane McMahon to oversee day-to-day operations. Can UFC continue to grow and overtake WAR?

Owner - Joaquin Roldan

Size: National, Base: Mexico, Money: $23,000, Image: 51

The premiere force in Mexico, Joaquin Roldan’s VLL has been the top-dog across the border for a very long time. Formerly relying heavily on older established stars, they have begun to change with the times while still maintaining their traditional roots. An influx of outsider talent from both America and Japan has been a shot in the arm recently, drawing the attention of fans worldwide, even luring top-draw Rey Mysterio away from Global powerhouse WAR. Their unique blend of talent and styles may be just the recipe VLL needs to become more than just the top-dog in Mexico. Could a US invasion be that far off?

Great White North (GWN)

Owner - Rob Feinstein

Size: National, Base: Canada, Money: $20,000, Image: 46

When entrepreneur and wrestling promoter Rob Feinstein was essentially blackballed from the United States following an embarrassing public incident, he packed up and headed for Canada. It wasn’t long before he was back on the scene with Great White North, a company he painstakingly built from the ground up into one the top promotions in the world today. They recently scored a huge coup acquiring the services of megastar Chris Jericho from WAR who immediately embroiled himself in a feud with members of The Hart Dynasty managed by Bret Hart. Recently Feinstein has announced his intentions to expand into the United States, a move he couldn’t even consider previously due to his past transgressions. He has hired Eric Bischoff to help with the transition.

The Art of Wrestling (AoW)

Owner - Cary Silkin

Size: Cult, Base: America, Money: $18,000,000, Image: 88

“Just shut up and wrestle” is the motto of Cary Silkin and his AoW brand, the only promotion in the world where an angle or storyline seems like an endangered species. A wrestling purists wet dream, AoW has gained it’s reputation by putting on 5-Star matches all across the world from America to Canada, Mexico, Japan, and Europe. Their style is not only appreciated by many fans but many wrestlers themselves, like AJ Styles, CM Punk, and Rob Van Dam who turned down larger offers from bigger promotions to wrestle in a company that allows them to do so.

Owner - Rob Black

Size: Cult, Base: America, Money: $15,000,000, Image: 69

The sudden reemergence of his adult entertainment business left Rob Black with lots of money, lots of time, and nothing to do with it all. He decided to take another stab at the wrestling business and founded SaVED. With the help of unlikely ally Paul Heyman, they have created without a doubt the most controversial promotion in the entire wrestling world. Blood, profanity, violence, and lots of scantily clad women are the norm in theis renegade promotion who grow more popular by the day. They have no plans on toning it down anytime soon either.

Femme Fatales (FF)

Owner - Dixie Carter

Size: Cult, Base: America, Money: $12,000,000, Image: 25

Sickened by the way women were being treated and displayed in professional wrestling, Dixie Carter started Femme Fatales. Her mission was to showcase woman for their in-ring skills and ability rather than their bodies and sex appeal. Femme Fatales enjoyed moderate success until Dixie recruited Stephanie McMahon who was able to kick down doors that had remained shut beforehand. The biggest move was talking Trish Stratus and Amy Dumas out of retirement and back into the ring. With these two as well as the best women wrestlers in the world, FF is poised to take woman’s wrestling to heights they’ve never reached.

Owner - Victor Jovica

Size: Regional, Base: Mexico, Money: $10,000,000, Image: 66

When longtime Puerto Rico wrestling promoter Victor Jovica saw a sharp decline in his business, he didn’t give up. He looked around the wrestling world and decided to move his operations to Mexico, which had become a hotbed for the sport in recent years. With a new name and a new life, AtB has slowly but surely gained steam while cementing its spot as the clear number 2 in Mexico. While challenging VLL is not an option at the moment, if the rumored expansion into the US becomes a reality, AtB may find themselves with an opportunity to gain fans and popularity by filling the void left when VLL is not in town.

Owner - Harley Race

Size: Regional, Base: America, Money: $8,000,000, Image: 44

Based primarily in the Georgia area, but known to hit all the southern states, wrestling legend Harley Race’s SJW can be described in 2 words, “old school”. A throwback to the golden era of professional wrestling, SJW has garnered a decent fan base by presenting a simple yet effective product featuring many stars of the past and present brawling their way up and down the territory. While many claim that once the nostalgia factor wears off, SJW will find themselves in a hole, they’ve been pretty good at what they do, and show no signs of updating their product anytime in the near future.

Owner - Andrew McManus

Size: Regional, Base: Canada, Money: $6,000,000, Image: 22

Highly successful concert promoter Andrew McManus has been here before, refusing to walk away when his inaugural wrestling promotion flopped in Australia. He decided to try Canada after seeing how successful the move was for Rob Fienstein and GWN. Relying mostly on local talent with an occasional big name sprinkled in here and there, MLM has carved out a nice little spot for themselves amongst the Canadian wrestling fans who love to cheer and support their homegrown athletes. He finds himself in a similar situation as Victor Jovica as GWN has announces plans to expand into the US, and he is eager to present his product to a much larger audience.

Future Shock Wrestling (FSW)

Owner - Sal Hamaoui

Size: Small, Base: America, Money: $5,000,000, Image: 75

FSW is essentially considered the breeding ground for young and upcoming talent in the world of professional wrestling. Sal Hamaoui has proven to have a keen eye for talent as he continues to bring in and develop individuals who go on to become huge superstars. A small promotion, they have still managed to gain an extremely loyal fan base who know they could be in on the ground level watching the next Global superstar be built. Because of their size, they aren’t able to hold on to talent for too long, but time and again Sal has proved that there’s more where that came from, and if he continues to do so, his fans will remain loyal and aren’t going anywhere.

Owner - Satoshi Oji

Size: Small, Base: Mexico, Money: $4,000,000, Image: 60

With the over-saturation of the Japan wrestling market, Satoshi Oji decided that a fresh start in a new place would be best. Having strong ties to Mexico for years, he decided to setup shop there and presented FEW. While still in their infancy, FEW has already planted the seeds and are starting to show signs that they could become a player somewhere down the line. Their name perfectly describes them as FEW regularly brings in talent from all across the world to compete in Mexico. Relying on younger cheaper talent has kept costs down, and given many wrestlers who are just grateful for the opportunity, a chance to show what they can do.

BombShells (BS)

Owner - Carmen Electra

Size: Small, Base: America, Money: $3,000,000, Image: 45

Almost the direct opposite of Femme Fatales, Carmen Electra’s BombShells is an eye-candy utopia. If you like bra-and-panties matches and bikini contests with the occasional wrestling match thrown in, then this is definitely the place to be. Carmen offers no apologies for their style as she sees nothing wrong with women being proud of their bodies and wanting to show it off, claiming TnA has always been a huge part of the business. Her mostly male fans tend to agree and as long she keeps them entertained, BombShells seems to be here to stay.

Air Canada (AC)

Owner - Mike Rotch

Size: Small, Base: Canada, Money: $2,000,000, Image: 30

“An aerial assault on your senses” is how owner Mike Rotch describes his young promotion. With a roster comprised almost exclusively of high flyers, sometimes it’s easy to mistake Air Canada with an acrobat show. This daredevil style has created a buzz in Canada as more and more fans show up with every show. This high-risk high-reward attitude has catapulted AC onto the scene, and like the wrestlers he employs, Mike always wants to go higher. Will he continue to fly, or will he crash and burn?

Based primarily in Hawaii, but recently holding shows in both California and Las Vegas, wrestling legend Don Muraco’s PCP may the smallest promotion going today, but he doesn’t plan on staying that way for long. Using his connections in the business, Muraco has been able to secure some of the hottest young Japanese prospects as well as American workers for his brand. His mission from day 1 has been clear, and that mission is to get more and more people addicted to PCP.

So am I too assume that anything in real life that has hapaned, hasn't in this scenario? Like the nWo angle and things like that. I'm looking to get an ewr game going and I don't want to play an old year or the current one so this is perfect. It's between this or Altern-8.

Cheers.
