Running a 1985/86 scenario...

And I wanna put in some guys who are "future" stars (Rock, Cena, Orton, etc...) So, for example, if I create John Cena and make him 9 years old, will he show up in the database in 9 years? Not sure how that work.

And if it is true, what should I do for them stats-wise. I'm guessing 0 overness and stats that are a little under where they actually are (So they can be built up to around normal via development when they get brought up).

I don't think they'll appear in the game at all. Maybe when they turn 18 they will but other than that, I have no idea.

I thought about that. But I was thinking this way, when they turn 18, I can actually have guys with exact stats. I could give The Rock crazy charisma and skills that are just below his actual skills so that everything ends up right. Who knows if a randomly generated wrestler is gonna match up in EVERY way with the guys I end up having at the right age? I'd need someone to be a heavyweight with insanely high charisma, not a crazy amount of speed, a superstar look, etc...

Yes, they will appear in the game when they turn 18.

EDIT: Technically, they're already in the game from the beginning. If you assign them to your promotion in the File Editor, you could book a nine-year-old Rock if you wanted to. But when they're 18, they're able to be viewed within the Other Workers and Roster screen filters (same as Terry Funk disappearing from age 75 but still being able to be booked in segments.)
