NWA The Return To Glory

Hey guys trying to reignite my interest in TEW 2005, and came up with an idea last night about attempting to bring back the NWA as the powerhouse it once was. Now i know that there is NWA Championship Wrestling from Hollywood and they have the major titles in the NWA but basically i had the idea that an unknown backer (unoriginal i know) which i hopefully later on in the game can reveal as Ric Flair if i can sign him, i was going to go with the idea of just starting the game in January 2012 and having Flair as the owner with the idea that he walked out on his TNA contract after a huge falling out with Hogan and Bischoff but thought that may have been a little to unrealistic. Anyway the unknown financial backer puts money into the NWA to help return the NWA to its former glory maybe move the promotion to the Carolinas, in JCP old stomping grounds. So this is where you guys come in I just want to pick your brains and find out who you'd expect to see in the NWA i was going to strip everyone of the titles in the NWA and hold a one night tournament to crown a new NWA World Heavyweight Champion. With the cash injection of the backer i was going to make the NWA a high end Regional promotion maybe just behind the likes of ROH and PWG.

Any help would be extremely appreciated

I think Ric Flair needs a financial backer more than the NWA does.

Yeah that'd probably make more sense haha I'll just have Robert Trobich as owner maybe and keep the financial backer as an unknown.

I guess Sting would be quite a cool financial backer. Defeats the norm of Ric Flair as well

Arn & Ole Anderson + Ric Flair

If you were going for absolute realism, Flair wouldn't be a viable option due to his recent financial trouble due to his divorce and other problems.

Something along the lines of Ole Anderson having invested some money into the stock market or other capitalist tools, and immersing any extra $50,000-$100,000 dollars into the company.

Arn could also perhaps support a little more, perhaps an unknown factor of $20,000-$40,000.

But since I really enjoy playing games for the sake of fun, while also playing games where I keep it extremely realistic.

Thanks guys I like the Ole and Double A idea alot seems realistic and then maybe bring Flair in later just because he's Ric Flair. Who would you expect to see on the roster because I don't really want to just go and raid Roh which would probably end up happening any suggestions?

Somehow, I don't think Ole Anderson currently has the mental acumen to invest wisely on the stock market.

Although Ole Anderson forgetting he's bought a wrestling company would be a fun story, but probably not what you're going for.
