Anyone pick this up? I hate, hate, hate the reduced roster, but love TM, so I'm thinking about picking it up. Mixed reviews all over the place, but I'll trust EWB more than anyone.

Take your time with the tutorials. I'm not crazy about the control scheme, but it is functional and not frustrating. The feel is very much as if they did the original Twisted Metal for PS3. Very gritty, a bit of campiness, and complete destruction of everything.

I wouldn't spend $60 on it, but if you've got friends picking it up and really dig the series, you'll get your money's worth. I say go for it, 0.

I'm really conflicted on it as well. I want to pick it up just because of the name brand but I seem to recall getting bored with it when I was younger.

Did they release a new Twisted Metal on the PS3? I haven't heard about this.

I used to enjoy Twisted Metal a lot but I was in middle school at the time.

Looks solid. Nowhere near Uncharted, but it doesn't need to be. I had no problems with lag of either the visual or network variety.

If I can find it fairly cheap, I might just get this. Is there a demo out? I haven't switched my PS3 on for months.

I'd have major problems with them focusing on only three characters. It include Twisted Metal Black on disc too, doesn't it?

Demo came out last week. You can find it on the PSN.

Apsham: Black is included on all new copies of the disc, though I think it's for a limited time only. Any of the drivers can use any of the cars, however.
