Austin Psych Fest 2013/Pretty Blue Guns

Anybody from Texas going to this in April? I may or may not be making it, I'm only really interested in seeing Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Black Angels, and a friend's band from South Africa, playing their first American show.

The Pretty Blue Guns seemed to have missed the memo on naming colour conventions.

I agree with you on that, it's kind of overdone. Though it is a reference to the Tom Waits song "A Sweet Little Bullet From A Pretty Blue Gun" from Blue Valentine. I think I could see the arguement that the music is also conventional, indie garage rock stuff but I may just like them as people too and that's making me a bit biased. I don't know. I like it though.
