I can't count how many times I've watched Poltergeist since I was a kid, it's a Halloween go-to every year. Saw Texas Chainsaw for the first time in 2009 and I immediately fell in love with the camerawork, simplicity and the legitimate horror I got from it. Apart from the Crypt episode he did, I haven't seen any non-Poltergeist/TCM work of his, so I think a watchthrough around Halloween of his other work is in order.

All those horror Icons  Hopefully the new Texas Chainsaw will do him justice!
