  1. Sadly enough I love Jason Statham but The Mechanic? really was kinda Meh for me. I thought it was a bit predictable and I really didnt feel any chemistry between him and Ben Foster.. thought Foster was a really weak choice here, and it kinda ruined the movie for me.

But I will second Brenchill's love for Black Swan.. that was an amazing movie! Portman so deserves the Oscar here!! Was more than a little disappointed that Kunis did not receive a nomination as I thought it was an incredible movie role for her.

  2. Ya know I actually love this show.. I thought the two new episodes were ok.. good have been better.. but I thought they worked fairly well. Oh and Evan can really be annoying, but I think he is starting to mature and i applaud that.

Divia is my favorite part of this show, hot, smart and has a storyline that makes me worry that she is actually leaving the show. I dont think she is, but the story line does make me worry a bit.

  3. Well I am thrilled to see Black Swan and Natalie Portman being nominated!!

I hope that Natalie and Black Swan take them home... it was stark movie about the descent into madness and I loved it.

I saw The Kids Are All Right.. and thought it was actually a fairly standard movie.

It really didnt do all that much for me. So I dont see why it was given a nod for Best Picture, Annette Benning and Mark Ruffalo? Really?

  4. I had to go with Finding Nemo as I feel its one of the greatest movies EVER!!

Then I wouoldve voted for Ratatouille, as I thought it was awesome, maybe because I am a chef myself I am a little biased about it.. but I loved. Oh and I wouldve loved to see the Incredibles on the list as I find it to cool as hell.

  5. Stomp the Yard.

I was coming in here to post that one... Blue Guy beat me to it.. but another one...

    Save the Last Dance.

Maybe its the fact that I fucking adore Julia Stiles.. but I love that movie.

  6. hmm worst movie ever? Oh god.. Napoleon Dynamite.

I absolutely abhor that movie and everything about it.

Lets see here.. a quote from Wikipedia describing what part of the movie was about:

Napoleon's grandma breaks her coccyx in a quad bike accident and, believing her grandsons cannot be trusted to look after themselves, she asks Uncle Rico (Jon Gries) to stay with them while she recovers. Uncle Rico is a middle-aged former high-school quarterback who lives in an orange 1975 Dodge Santana campervan and is mentally stuck in the year 1982 (a fact which caused a breakup with his girlfriend). His presence, although increasingly irksome to Napoleon, is a boon to Kip as he and Uncle Rico embark on a joint project to become door-to-door salesmen selling sets of plastic food storage containers. Kip reveals that he would like to earn some money to enable him to meet his new Internet girlfriend from Detroit, LaFawnduh Lucas (Shondrella Avery). Uncle Rico is not averse to using Napoleon's name to gain credibility in his attempts to sell herbal breast-enhancement products to Napoleon's school mates, causing increasing friction between Uncle Rico and Napoleon.

Really? Sounds like someone's acid trip gone wrong....

I actually wanted to shoot myself in the head watching this movie... I dont understand why it was so popular...

  7. Daybreakers wasn't all that bad. It had some really cool concepts, at least. Still, I have yet to see 30 Days Of Night, but I'm not really rushing to see it either.

wow Daybreakers I thought was stupid as could be... slow as hell and never really got anywhere.. wow horrible moevie in my opinion

I watched the first 30 minutes of Surrogates yesterday. I am not sure if i can manage the rest of the movie or not. Maybe it gets better? Does anyone know?

I do and thought that it was a really good movie.. keep watching.
