  1. hmm Stardust is an excellent movie, if not a tad long but a very enjoyable movie.

I also hate Will Ferell, but have found that Stranger Than Fiction to be an awesome movie that i watch time and time again...

Ahh, Doomsday with Rhona Mitra is one of my fav movies of this decade.. dont care how badly people thought of it, and how bad the reviews were.. in fact i might just go pop that in the DVD player...

One more.... Music and Lyrics with Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore. another movie that will show up on my favorites list for a long long time and it was nearly universally panned.. dont have a clue why.

  2. I predict this movie will break even, but not reach the success of James Cameron's previous movies.

How many billion has this movie made again?

Now now, you aren't the accountant on that movie. Maybe it cost umpteen billion to make!

As a matter of fact, it has been said that the movie needed to make 750 million to break even, so it has easily surpassed that... oh and it will pass 2 billion in sales this week worldwide.

  3. GAAAAAAAMMMMEEEE OOOOOVVVVVEEERRRRRR ! ! ! ! ! !! !! ! !! !

    AHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH Peyton ... EAT IT

^ This. Peyton Manning always comes off as such a douchebag to me.

Did anyone else see Him just head toward the locker room? didnt even come to the center of the field and COngratulate the Saints....

  4. Been watching this for a few weeks now... good cast... Christian Cooke, Philip Glenister, Holliday Grainger, and Zoe Tapper star.

The story is about the next Van Helsing... British Teenager Luke Rutherford, played by Christian Cooke and the people that surround/help him as he starts on his path toward hunting the various Half Lifes out to do the world harm.

I must admit, that Cooke takes a little getting used to, but I really do enjoy the supporting cast, especially Mina Harker, the blind virtuoso, played by Zoe Tapper.

    Anyone else watching?

  5. I dont know.. i really think the season is already over... to be honest... I'm not sure they can make the playoffs even if they beat Cleveland.

Beating Oakland should have been a given and really would have helped a long way towards solidifying our wild card chances.

Being only a game behind the Jags for the second wild card spot should favor us, but looking at the fact that we are tied with the Jets and the Dolphins, and a half game behind the Ravens for that spot.. I don't really see us pulling this off.

    Four games remaining:

    Cleveland >> we should Win

Green Bay>> I really cant go against Aaron Rodgers and the Pack right now. Lose

Baltimore >> Seeing how we damn near won with Dennis Dixon at the helm, we win a slug fest. Win

Miami>> Last week of regular season? With a wild Card on the line? Good God.... I have no clue....

  6. Add 'Sapphire & Steel' to list of awesome retro sci-fi shows. I mean, come on, it's lead characters are the embodiment of the periodic elements named in the title, and they team up to save regular people.

Oh, and the villain is time itself.

Having looked this up after seeing it mentioned... this sounds cool as hell!

I might have to see if i can find it here in the states...

  7. Well... Samryn was victorious at EWB XIX... first round submission of Subatol!!

Looking for offers on my next fight? Anyone?

BTW anyone want to explain how sponsorship works? Can I look for sponsors or do they come looking for me?

    I also have a fighter .. Gino Carr ... http://mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=29794 ... looking for a contract.

Gino's got an offer, but in the future, make sure your fighters are based in Montreal. Signing bonus should cover his move.

As for how long offers stay around, they stay until you decline them or the org retracts. We still have some on the books from two months ago.

Oops... my other fighters are based in Montreal, I picked him up on the free agent wire and forgot to check where he was based.

  8. Wow and so my favorite list is quite a bit different then the others I have seen here.

Star Wars: Episode 4 (Still my favorite, guess that will never change.)

The Crow (Having met the man himself... J O'Barr, a true revenge masterpiece)

When Harry Met Sally (Yep a huge Meg Ryan fan and this is by far my fav romantic movie ever)

Finding Nemo (Simply my fav cartoon ever!!)

Will think on it some more.. but these stand the test of time in my opinion and are far and away the best.

  9. thank you.. one more question.

well its a two parter I suppose..

    A) How many contracts can a fighter be offered at the same time? I have an offer from an org, but am kinda hoping that EWB will offer my new 2-0 acquisition one as well.

    B) How long will a contract stay while I decide to accept or deny? Is it up to the person offering?
